I have the exact AUX bar on my KLR 250 I use to commute and that thing is no joke. I can see people's silhouettes on the backs of semi trailers shining through their rear window. I've had a lot less close calls since I put that thing on. Definitely not road legal but I don't care. It actually doesn't really blind on coming traffic without focused it is and the cops have not given me any problems. It also does work quite well in sandstorms and fog. They are kind of cheap however. $120 for that much light with its own wiring harness and fuse system is a pretty good deal but I had to replace the first one because it was getting moisture in it and the second one I have now is rubbing the inner lens against the outer lens of the light bar and making it chafe a little bit. I just buy a new one and send back the old one. Also in this review it wasn't quite done justice for how much range it has. At 4:00 in the morning with the highway packed You get about as much usable range as he's showing in this video but if You're more out towards the backcountry in the desert You get about 2,000 ft of usable light and that's while cruising at 65 mph. If you're way out in the middle of nowhere with absolutely zero light sitting on top of a hill or something I was able to aim my light at a ridge and make out the different rocks and bushes just barely. I measured the distance using Google Earth dropping a pin where I was sitting and dropping a pin on the distinct rock formation I was staring at. I wish they made a light bar that was solely made up of those ultrafocused lenses.
exactly! I also wish they make a lightbar just for those spot eyes, even 2 or 3 led shortie would work great for my spot needs.
Waiting to mount two of the HF Roadshock 6 LED this weekend…can’t wait to give them a try
You won’t be disappointed, especially that super wide beam
How are they working out for you? Im looking for ditch lights
@@BlazingFaith1945 For ditch, I'd say get the edge 4 led and also be mindful that the extremme wide pattern may shine somelights back into the cabin from the ditch light mounting spot (a pillar), one solution for that is to tape/vinyl up the inner side shooters, friend of mine have done that and works well.
@@BlazingFaith1945 I would also say the 4 led version would be better for ditch lights. I have 2 of of the 6 led mounted in the middle of my bumper and they have been awesome. smooth and wide beam pattern, plus the high beam spots reach out super far
THANK YOU.. I'm about to click and watch it
Thank you!
Have you seen the new Novsight Cyber 6"? Looking SICK lights but no review available. yet.
I have, actually I am in talk with Novsight to try to get my hands on this exact light to test, fingers crossed.
@@4WDisLife Sweet, hopefully you can get your hands on it. I believe these lights will be insane
Do you aim the spot beam hot spots together? Like blending them to make 1 bigger hot spot
No, this video is done just by using one unit, pod and bar.
@@4WDisLife gotcha. Makes sense now
Was this done with one light or two?
One light. Pod and bar
I’ve been waiting for this
What do you think? Hopefully it was somewhat helpful
Sure, funny enough I have a pair of Auxbeam 7 inch in the front bumper of my 4runner. These are getting replaced by 2 pairs of RoadShock Edge 4 Leds, the reason is the Auxbeam’s are really good for spot but don’t throw as much as I would want and are a bit nerfed by the bullbar, like one inch and a quater. This is easily fixed by my 42” 5D pro roof rack mounted but I need to have the cover on and remove it ONLY when really necessary. So the RS 4led combo pair and spot pair will definitely be a nice addition to the front bumper and it won’t be affected by the bullbar.
@@LiquidXiron yea that 42inch 5d pro is going to be more than enough for covering the distance. How do you like the RS4 so far?
@@4WDisLife I've placed the order but have not received it yet. I've seen other reviews and the light output is sick. This is only a pair and I'm going with 2 pairs. For now it looks promising.
