I think this may be the first time I watched one of your videos! I loved that you focused on the technique rather than selling the supplies. I subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your videos. Keep up the great creativity!
I too found your videos recently and have learned something from all of them! Thanks so much. I love love the sentiment with the bottom half heat embossed. So perfect for a holiday card as it mimicks snow adding another layer of texture AND color.
Awesome video and techniques! Ideas I certainly would not have thought of on my own, but am anxious to try. Thanks Charlene, and I will certainly be following you!
Hi! I love these ideas! It is great to see techniques & tips from many different creators on TH-cam. Everyone has a different style & ways of doing things! Your voice is great, and you explain things well! Thanks for doing what you do!
I am so glad TH-cam thought I'd like this video, otherwise I never would have found you! Great techniques, and I love your presentation style. I'm happy to be a new subscriber.
Hahaha Your Lisa Frank comments made me smile too. I really appreciate your unique techniques. They are easy to use without being time consuming, or die or product exclusive. Home run girlfren!
Cool ideas. You don’t look old enough to know who Lisa Frank and what Trapper Keepers were! Both brought back fond memories. Thanks for your videos, please keep them coming. I’m now trying to catch u0 on your older stuff since I just found you this year. Love your videos. 😊
I watched one other of your videos before this one and liked that one, so I wanted to see more. I like that you focus on what you are doing and not trying to sell something. IMO that color is a light teal blue. There is a teal green also. Many people think that the color is just called TEAL, but in order to be really correct you have to add the blue or green to it. Both of them are my favorite colors.
On that second "friends," you probably could lay the white die cut *over* the colored one that's already inlaid, and just press the little interior bits straight into the adhesive.
Some good tips, thank you. Your cards are a bit plain for me, I wouldn’t be able to resist adding some flowers, leaves etc. Thanks for sharing, I’ve just subscribed.
Have you tried using used dryer sheets in your die cutting machine? It helps with fiddly dies, but also since is such a thin sheet it keeps marks down from being embossed into your card. Instead of copy paper
Watching to warm up for CraftRoulette episode #173 with you and very happy & impressed! Love all your tips, but above all I have always been struggling with pulling the release paper off of delicate sentiments, no matter whether the double sided medium was thin or thick, the words would always distort and it would be very difficult to get them back to their original shape! Now that I've seen this, I'm thinking that this could also be another use for press' n' seal of you don't have post-it tape. I was wondering why you are not using the same process on the masking paper method? BTW, I'm dreaming of a PINK Christmas ... Great tip also about adding a piece of copy paper to avoid dulling your ink blended background.
Thanks! I’ll have to try it with press and seal. It may be a little too sticky in comparison to Post-it tape though. Honestly, I didn’t think to use the Post-it tape when removing the backing from the die cut masking paper. I’ll have to try that as well! 🙂
I like others here just found you. AlthoughI had you on personalized…Not sure what that really meant. But now i have you on SEE ALL. Love your ideas. Thank you..
Thanks for the great tips and hacks! And I just want to say that you are a masterful color blender. You make me realize that one of my problems is that I'm too impatient. I've heard people say it but somehow, the way you explained it made me really 'get it'. Thanks!
I like how you explained slowly & clearly plus the extra tips! I would describe salvaged patina as a light aqua or pale turquoise (it's a lighter version of peacock feathers distress oxide).
Thanks, Suzanne! 🙂 Did I really talk about microblading in this video? Oops 🤣 Microblading is semi-permanent tattooing of the eyebrows. It's done in such a way that it looks more natural. I've never done it, but I've always been intrigued. 🙂
Lisa Frank!!! I loved Lisa Frank stuff! Made me giggle! These tips are awesome. Thank you!
Her stuff was the best! 💕
When she said Trapper Keeper I almost spit out my tea! What colorful memories! Love it!! 💖💖💖

Lovely tips...I'd call that distress oxide 'aqua-blue'. It's sort of a light peacock blue or light kingfisher blue too. I love these colours

Thanks! I like to make all kinds of different cards. 🙂 I mail a lot of my cards so I try to keep my embellishments to a minimum.
Have you tried using used dryer sheets in your die cutting machine? It helps with fiddly dies, but also since is such a thin sheet it keeps marks down from being embossed into your card. Instead of copy paper

I definitely enjoyed your hacks, but please can you tell me what Microblading is? Thank you , thank you for sharing.

@@DreamCraftCreate I think she misunderstood and was referring to the microGLAZE. I might be wrong 🤔
@@mrsmcphate Oh! That makes a lot more sense! 😆
