Every time when I move into a new flat, I look around the yard and the fencing to make sure that it is save for animals. In our last place we rented we had to flatten about 20 nails that were sticking out, being a danger to wildlife. I became conscious about these things from watching Wildlife Aid. Thank you Wildlife Aid and a big thanks to all people that help.
I love it when you, Simon, take on "being" the animal you're rescuing and "saying' what it must be thinking - "I've only got half a tail - I'm so embarrassed." I love it when you do that.
I am so glad foxy is relatively fine after literally nailing herself to a plank. Poor sweetheart. Also, may I say, Simon is actually a very spry gentleman. I'll be glad to be able to run up those stairs at his age, I'm sure. Great job everyone, now I'm off to find the comment where someone writes all the subliminal messages, since I can't catch them on phone.
@Willow Cat why would they even do that? Don't go around making accusations like that on situations you know nothing about, if they purposely nailed the fox she would be way more injured, they said in the video she hurt herself with the nail when getting trapped in the "V"
I think the Fox was most worried about finding its way back to its favourite place, that neighbourhood, as when you opened the box to release it, she just stopped in amazement that she made it back there already. That was one delighted fox
She's very cute. I'm glad that the missing bit of her tail won't greatly affect her. It's amazing those nails didn't do any serious damage to her! Awesome job everyone.
Love watching how you all kind and gentle with these animals. But I have one thing to say to you, STOP saying you’re old and decrepit, with the work you do you’re anything but.
''He is fit and young, i am old and decrepit'' 😂.....oh Simon you are the best and the animals surely agree on that. Obviously your young assistants are great too!

So great to see someone caring for foxes. We have 4 or 5 in our garden and love having them even though they mark everywhere and are a tad destructive. Shame my neighbours hate wildlife. One side called someone to trap them before they had even moved in a few years ago while on the other side, many years ago, they put a wire trap down. Unfortunately one of our cats got trapped in it and came home with a half amputated leg. If I could have proved it, I would have called the authorities! Don't understand it. If you hate wildlife, go live on the 20th floor of some apartment block not a house with garden in a leafy south London suburb cos guess what, the wildlife was there before you!
Simon and all the team, you are charitable to all the animals but to me too : you bring light into the life of the old and sick man that I am. Thank you and be safe. (excuse my poor english)

Great work as usual guys! Now If only people learnt how to look after their gardens and repair such gaps that can end up damaging the local wildlife there'd be less incidents like this.
In all honesty you're the UK's equivalent to Dr. Pol, quirky, funny, friend to the animals, and will work hard every day! I also love how gentle and kind you folks are to the animals. You are good people!

Whoever is looking after her (someone is) must be so happy to see her back. They are so well fed (I'm not the only one) that some evening they don't eat all of the sardines that I leave out for them.
