- We were recently called out to a fox that had been found on a footpath, entangled in wire fencing. Hanging by its leg, Simon rushed to the fox's aid to try and free it before it was too late...

What a beautiful fox! I'm so glad you guys were able to free her from the fence, and that she wasn't too badly injured! She seemed really happy to be back in the wild, the way she bolted out of the carrier!

I feed my fox friend daily and have done for many years he was very sick when I first found him now he is fat and healthy xxx its nice to be nice to all animals ❤👍

@@vickipowner7238 Stating the FACT that being overweight is unhealthy is not being rude. Stating a negative, hurtful OPINION (an insult) would be rude.
To give warning to a well-meaning caregiver of an animal that they may be unintentionally harming the animal is not being rude; it's being kind to the animal AND the caregiver. A wild animal needs to be fast and agile - and self-sufficient in order to survive, which is what the caregiver would want.
I believe intent has a lot to do with whether a comment is rude. Rudeness was absolutely not my intent - not to the fox, not to the caregiver, not to you.
I’m sure when she got back in those woods she looked back to say good bye and thank you. We just couldn’t see her. Foxes are so beautiful. Thank you for saving her!! God bless and Merry Christmas!! ❤️💜💚

When I was a child and playing in a forest I found a roe in the same situation as the fox here. I went to the owner of the forest and together we succeeded in rescuing it. I was so proud!
I wish this lovely man could live forever and help even more animals. Thank you for all of your efforts.
5:07 She was like "Stop touching me, humans!" The poor lass had no idea why she was there and why those scary humans came to manipulate her before letting her in that strange location.
Sometimes, I hope they would understand all the good you are doing for them, but I realise that it's better for their own good that wild animals stay affraid of humans.
Anyway, we, humans, understand what you are doing, so I thank you very much, even you're doing your great job in a country I don't live in! :)
Yes - one of our top priorities is ensuring our patients don't become familiar with humans :)

Thank you for your video on rescuing foxy! Years ago a fox cub was foraging for snails from the wall drainage pipes in the bottom of my back garden wall outside my back door on London. Her mother had been killed in a street accident As the baby was needing help I began feeding her raw chicken pieces & later chicken wings & organic dog food for a balanced diet I only put the food out in the same place before dusk at first nightly. In the summer I put the food out every other night to promote self foraging. I would only see the fox from my upstairs window, & did not try to train the fox to interact with me for food. I wanted her to retain her instinct to hide from humans for her own safety. When Foxy had her 1st litter of 2, I heard her softly calling to me, & she brought her Cubs/Kits for me to see! After a year or so, she left her Cubs/Kits to this territory as they had a reliable food source. She moved on for them I hope. Since then there have been 10 crops if foxes, all healthy. They all got to know my cat, & were fine with the cat supervising over the years! In fact they one year protected my cat from a dog & defended her that incident having been caught on CCTV out front of the house! Love my healthy free fox generational family!
