Hello! Hope you enjoy this video, it was so much fun watching these kits for a couple of weeks! In the next video, there will be some updates from around the homestead, including trail camera footage from the entire spring (I just offloaded all the footage). I'm also hoping to start some smaller habitat projects for the summer!
My husband’s and my date nights are often watching one of your videos. I should have saved this one for the weekend but couldn’t resist. And they’re so interesting and beautiful, I’m happy to watch them again.
so awesome to see fox content that isn't trying to "tame" them but instead appreciate them from a respectful distance and consider what they need first! beautiful video as always
Every time you upload, I can finally take a deep breath and relax. Your videos are so very soothing nothing else can beat it in comfort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. In our increasingly stressed-out world, we really need this.
1:59 the parent fox staring directly into 'camera' as if it's saying "just one moment of peace....I'd kill for ONE moment of peace..." 😂 this footage is absolutely incredible, I'm so happy you've gotten to re-experience the fox family sightings of your youth! here's to many more wonderful sightings on the wildlife homestead 🐦
I appreciate and respect how your able to capture and enjoy wildlife without interfering to much and not have a negative impact. Thank you for sharing your wonderful and inspiring times.
Those foxes are beautiful! It so awesome that you get to watch them acting natural in their habitat. I have never seen a wild fox despite living in an area where they are fairly common. You always get beautiful footage even when you say it’s not that great. Thank you for sharing this beauty of nature that you see with all of us!
That must've felt like such a blessing, being accepted by the foxes. I'm so glad they stayed around! What an awesome situation 🥰. And by the way, that grass looks so healthy it's making ME hungry. LOL ;-)
Doesn't matter how my day is going, I see a notification alerting me of your new video, and a smile instantly pops. Thanks for the nice videos you make!
Man i really dont know how you can hold back from petting those adorable little babiess. Hopefully we get to see them with their own family in the future!❤❤
I love your homestead series so much! Getting excited over every new video! 😊 Since your wildlife pond series I'm just obsessed with the idea of a big, wild, garden with a lot of diversity of habitat to serve as many species as a sanctuary as possible, i think you really woke a dream in me, that I hopefully will some day make come true 😁 Keep it up!
Really appreciate you sharing these videos, the high quality production & knowledgable commentary throughout all the past videos are a bonus. Personally, living in the city i will not be able to experience these types of scenes, your video not only made it possible but your knowledge and information further helped me appreciate wildlife. Thank you & always looking forward to the next one.
I usually don’t comment on TH-cam but I want many more people to see this channel that I love so much. Keep up the awesome videos and greetings from Germany
@@TheWildlifeHomestead Says a lot about humans. Where I live (Ireland) they have no natural predator since wolves were eradicated over 200 years ago and yet their interactions with humans have taught them to avoid making a noise.
Since we stopped farming on the family farm, we now have foxes that raise their families on the farm. It started a few years ago. It's such a joy to watch them.
I'm loving the videos. The ponds, the birds, the amphibians, the insects, the plants. I'm a naturalist everything has its place, and how a pond supports so much wildlife. As a kid I grew up in the country and saw much of what your videos touch on. Great work.
Great video! A few years ago I was able to watch a group of somewhat younger baby foxes from the window of a beach house in an urbanized area in Delaware. I was just a few feet away but a little above so they didn't see me. They were the cutest thing I have ever seen. Play fighting and practice hunting. Soooo adorable. I love foxes. One time at our real suburban home, I looked up from a task I'd been concentrating on and found our small Pomeranian dog and an adult fox playing “chase” in the yard. No aggression, just cute.
It really is a common misconception that foxes are aggressive or territorial, when in reality they don’t attack cats or small dogs. They’re just chill lol
Very interesting! Sounds like a wonderful experience. Yeah I think it comes down to circumstance. If there’s an abundance of food available, then it’s less likely they need to resort to preying on cats/smaller dogs. My girlfriends family dog befriended a fox one year and learnt how to catch voles like the fox would. Very neat!
So good … stunning captures of these adorable little ones. A great place to call home. Thanks for taking the time to put clips together and sharing them. Cheers
What a beautiful video! ❤ Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the fox kits! It’s really nice to see that there are people like you out there who are giving nature the respect it deserves and appreciating what a special opportunity it is to observe the foxes. It was wonderful seeing the kits playing with each other, and of course the little leaps are the cutest!
A few years ago I had a skunk family that would spend all of their time in our backyard, the kids would be out there playing and enjoying the sun , water from the fountain and seed on the ground from the feeders. The mother seemed so relaxed to have a safe area to live. When we would go outside they would huddle under a bush and once we were done they would come back out. I wish I had more video. I do have a couple of shorts though... Great video! Greg
That’s such a cool experience. I love watching the skunks roam around here. We had a younger one show up for a few days early this spring. Can’t imagine having a whole family!
Oh how awesome is this?? I knew of a guy that befriended a fox and started to feed it...their teeth go backwards a bit, so when they clamp down..whatever is in there, isn't coming out. I used to live in a place where a big black bear was lying on the grass, eating bird seed...all of a sudden, he jumped up and ran and hugged a huge pine tree...I was like "WHAT would scare a bear like this?"...Mom and Dad fox with a kit came in to get their dog biscuits. lol...I fed lots of critters in my day...none by hand. Trust me....This video is just adorable, those babies make you just want to cuddle...but you know better! Outstanding!! Can't wait for the next video!!
@@TheWildlifeHomestead Have you heard of Oswald's Bear Ranch in Michigan's Upper Peninsula?? Before the Ranch, Dean hollered for me to come to his truck one day. We live in a town near Bristol, UK. We were lucky enough to have six kits born at the rear of the back garden. Watching them play was a delight. Unfortunately the runt of the litter died one night; it just curled up and passed away. Think they've grown up now as we don't see them any more. Your videos are great.
