"Nice and bitey", I'm sure he'll take it as a compliment!
@@wildlifeaid Well - my mini-schnauzer girl is "nice and bitey" too, on occassion. I consider those to be love-bites. I mean what should we expect of a wild animal ? This fox *seemed* to much appreciate that the fellow was there to help her/it escape. Yet extreme anxiety on their part - for very obvious reasons. I think I would try to verbalize this differently to the animal, but well done.
He wasn't really angry, just scared out of his mind, poor boy.
Exactly! And I recommend that to anyone who meets a stranger with a pair of scissors in hand.
I've been lying in bed with covid, and watched nearly all through your videos going back 5 years, I'm addicted lol
These videos are good medicine. 🙂 They've gotten me through rough times too.
Best wishes to you. ♥️
We really hope you're feeling better soon! Thanks so much for your kind support :)
"Nice and bitey" 😂 Lawrie has the same kind of dry humour as Simon. I guess that's why they work so well together. This one was a solo though and you did a great job Lawrie 👍👍👍
Lawrie seems as dedicated as Simon to saving wildlife. King Charles and many other royals are conservationists who are dedicated to saving animals and the environment.
I think half way through the fox started to realise that he was there to help . Great job getting him free 😊😊
I have to laugh out loud when you assure the fox that you know he's very vicious.
It always turns my stomach seeing them trapped like this. I am so pleased he was relatively unharmed, it'must be so frightening. Well done Lawrie, the foxes limbs were unharmed and you kept all your fingers!
I have to admit I do get annoyed, animals trapped in netting is not new, just pegging the net up when not in use would avoid all harm and stress to animals. I remember one rescue the homeowner said, "it's never happened before". So with that logic and complacency are they waiting for the day it WILL happen? Sigh. Great job, and thank you so much.
Thanks so much. It's always a horrible sight to see them like this, but we're so glad he could be released on scene!
FWIW - LIFE is mammalian fundamentally frightening - and must be. You start out all well-intentioned and well meaning - but then you NEED protein & procreation and eventually must die - despite one's own intentions. Is cancer or a heart-attack less upsetting that a nylon-mesh trap ? The point of this exercise is COMPETITION. You are no different from this fox.
He knitted himself into that one good and proper, didn't he? Well done Lawrie and cameraman! XXX
he was the cameraman as well 😅 had a camera on his head and placed the other on the ground
A quick glance from the fox as he ran off as if to say "Thanks". Another great rescue.
Beautifully done Lawrie, he was fairly calm considering he was in a bit of a panic, you did a lovely job, thank you
The poor fox must've been so scared. I love the way you talked to him as you worked.
Completely calm and unimpressed. "Yes, I know. You're very vicious." Good work, Lawrie! Particularly managing something that clearly needed at least 3 hands.
Well done, Lawrie! And be blessed, dear Simon! We all love you!❤❤❤❤
Lawrie is amazing, and the fact he was drawn into wildlife rescue is such a blessing! Simon can rest assured that wildlife will continue to be rescued. God bless these caring people.
I’m concerned that Simon isn’t helping. Prayers for his health and strength. 🙏❣️💕
Don't worry, Simon is ok. Lawrie manages our out-of-ours rescue calls and Simon was still in bed at the time!
Brilliant! Can't have been easy Freeing Foxy on your own, well done and thank you.
Thanks a lot! Usually we'd make sure we have two people on callouts like this, but sometimes it has to be a solo job!
"Work my way to the bitey end" 🤣🤣
Well done! You're amazing Lawrie! And so gentle with the little fox. Prayers for Simon 🙏
My husband was listening to my video without watching and he noticed the amazing kindness in Lawrie’s voice. Add that to his great rescuing skills and voila, Lawrie is a total winner❤
How some of these animals stuck in netting are even alive is beyond belief, thank you to every one who takes part in saving these animals.
It shocks us too at times! Luckily he was ok! Thanks so much for the support :)
Спасибо Человеку за спасение Лисёночек! Здоровья Вам и всего-всего самого Наилучшего!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful work, as is to be expected for Lawrie. And having to do it all by himself this time? Poor lad!
What a lovely, fiesty fox! Top-tier fox behavior right there 🦊👍
Dear Simon, Lawrie & WAF Staff... I've lost count of how many smiles you've put on my face & how much pure joy you've given my heart. Thank you. God bless you.🙏♥️🇺🇲✌
Yea Lawrie! I can't imagine being able to do this. But you did it beautifully. Such kindness makes my heart feel better. ♥️
Simon gave the animals a gift before he is leaving and the gift is you Lawrie. Well don Lawrie. Blessings to both of you and Simon and Wildlife Aid. Please give our love to Simon. ❤❤❤
That was so wonderfully well done. Glad it was a rescue-release for this feisty and frightened (but still utterly adorable) fox 💜
As someone who can’t resist a cute animal print, I can’t help but appreciate Lawrie’s little lobster socks 😊xXx
Thank you so much Emily! We're so glad we could help him!
Haha, Lawrie has to keep the marine biologist in him somehow, right? ;)
I didn' t see first but with the slow motion I could really see how he was happy to be free again. Thank you so much for him. You did a great job and you are a beautiful person. 🦊❤
beautiful and calm rescue of this sweet entangled fox !! so nice he could go back to the wild immediately !! Thank u so much for helping him !! 🦊
😱 cor blimey he got good and tangled, good job and video for a solo run, thanks 💖😁
Gorgeous foxy-fox! But he'd really worked on getting himself in a tangle. Good thing Lawrie is such a pro at this! Lol! Praying and prayers for Simon as always.
Well done Lawrie : you are a compassionate young man. Thank you for sharing.
Great work, netting is such a problem.
If only people would tie it up with velcro when not in use, it would stop so much death and suffering.
It certainly is! One second of thought would save so many lives when netting is concerned!
Excellently done with one chap! Well done.
Hope you gave the owners of the goal post some advice re safe storing after use [as I'm sure you did].
Needs to be taught in school.
Thanks so much. Luckily, the caller agreed to remove the netting in the future :)
The release always catches my breath. You are just absolute heroes, the way you save each and every one of these lovely creatures. 😍 👌 👍 ❤
Great job by Lawrie, made it look much easier than it was! God bless you man & Wildlife Aid team.
Seems that fox scored an own goal!! Good job Lawrie, Foxy was in good condition too.
Your work makes the world a better place! Thank you very much!
That was a super tangled mess that’s for sure . Ty for rescuing another beautiful animal . ❤
Love and hugs to Simon .❤
He was definitely quite tangled! Thanks so much for your kind words and support :)
He knew exactly where he was going! Wonderful job and it's great to see Lawrie was able to do it safely by himself. I must confess when I saw the title I thought "again?!" it must drive you guys mad.
I hope Simon is doing okay.
He did indeed! Thanks so much!
We certainly see this sort of callout far too often...
Simon is doing well thank you :)
A very stressed/scared fox, dealt with very patiently/gently Lawrie. That was a mile of net to work on, brilliant to see the run off at the end 😉 thanks muchly Lawrie, love to Simon x x
Wow, looks like that could have been dangerous for you! Thank you for your bravery and for helping this little guy!
God always bless u all gentlemen for all your goods, without all animals will be dead or sufferings, tq
As the fox run away I've heard Simon's voice "Vroooom!!" 💜
So glad I can see your channel on my feed again. So enjoy you saving and caring for the animals. THANK YOU!
Bless you for your kind help. I have been caring for a fox family for about 2 yrs now and had 6 of them the other night. Mum had 5 cubs but one died. I just feed them enough so that they still remain wild. The mother had mange and I treated that. So much better now. The mother trusts me the most and comes when I call but I still don’t encourage them to come too close. They have learned 2 sounds, when I call them, and another for danger so they know to run (if a vehicle approaches or someone walking along).
You sounded so much like Simon while you were talking to the fox. It brought a happy tear to my eye.
I’m just waiting for someone to name one of these animals after Simon. That fox is feisty like him. But, you’ve got to find a cheeky animal. 😉😁
Poor thing was scared half to death.Thank you for helping ♥️
I love how he gently was in every action
Bon travail Laurie. Amitiés à Simon. 😍😍🇨🇵
What a beautiful fox. I'm sure he had quite a tale to tell when he got back to his den.
You are awesome like your dad Simon. Thank you for rescuing, saving the fox's life. Many blessings to you and the foxy
Bitey end may be bitey, but those big floofy tails make up for a lot :)
Glad to see Mr Fox got to zip back off to whatever he was doing before he got himself all knitted up.
Haha, they do have great tails don't they?
We're so glad he could head straight off home!
@@wildlifeaid First time I saw a fox in full winter configuration, I couldn't believe how floofy those tails get :)
Thank you so much for helping them out!
You guys are so freaking awesome! It ALMOST seemed that it understood you were there to help towards the end. Thanks for all you do!
Poor kid comes home from school and finds his prized Birthday present ruined by some heathen lol ....
Nicely done , lovely Fox.
Wie vorsichtig und durchaus liebevoll dieses arme Tier gerettet wurde ist wunderbar. Danke für diesen Einsatz!
Great solo rescue Lawrie. Well done that man. Glad you also gave him a 'ticking off'.
Superb job, Lawrie! The fox thought so too.
If you look at the bit of video with the times you tried to get to the bit of rope around his head, you could see him respond less with each of your tries and apparently think "oh, I don't think he's trying to hurt me at all" but that he was startled initially made sense too.
(Also... this video was one of those times when I thought "Oh, if I lived nearby, I could have rushed over and helped". My rabies titer is probably still alive and kicking anyway.)
If this sounds pedantic, nah, that's just me being me.
My friend told me in the late 90's he met Douglas Adams, who gave a lecture on the environment and wildlife conservation, and he mentioned the good work of Simon; he said: " there is a wonderful gentleman in Leatherhead in Surrey, who looks after sick animals".
Thank you 💞😊 very match.
