    I think he was actually a pretty lucky fox to go down that light well. If he hadn't, the wound on his leg from the fence might have become infected, made him lame and thus more vulnerable to other hazards and impeded his hunting abilities.

    @anniemac3075 2 ปีที่แล้ว +53

    A terrified hurt wild girl, not surprised she ran blindly into the light well. Thank you Lawrie for getting her out of such an awkward space & thank you WAF for getting her fit to live another day.
    Much love to you all, especially Simon xx

    Clumsy little fella. Although I don't really understand all the little narrow pits along the side of houses. 🤔 I mean, it's in the name, "lightwell" to give "(day) light" for the basement, but it just seem like asking for wildlife to become trapped, with no incline or climbable installations present; It wouldn't be very difficult to have a diagonal beam, going from a bottom corner, to the opposite top one, with small steps or rough, anti-slip surface, or at least a mesh cover. It surely puts you guys to work, I see! 😅 Great job! 👏

      A metal grid, like I've seen plenty of central London houses have, would avoid such problem for medium-large-size animals.

    It's a shame they don't make Fox Bondo. When a fox gets a hole in him the vet could fill it with Fox Bondo, then sand it, put textured red hair from a Red Bearded man on it, and he's good to go! Something to think about, and I'm glad the little guy is OK! Thanks for the vid!
