Hey man, I've only used display systems very little, but I will dig deeper into it and do a video on what I've learnt. Happy you're enjoying the videos.
@@TDVision_U Hi Edward, really your videos are VERY HELPFUL!!! I have watched almost all of your 26 videos. I would like to ask you, if you have made any video about making drawings from a survey with laser scanner, using point cloud. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge
Thanks for sharing. One question: Why do you think that Autocad Architecture does not implement the option to create columns and beams with custom sections natively in the same way that Autocad Structural Detailing had? Don't you think it would be much easier to create them from the Project Navigator? Saludos desde Perú
So I've never used AutoCAD Structural Detailing. But it would certainly be easier. Sounds like it's been replace with Autodesk Advanced Steel. AutoCAD Architecture does provide the basic tools to add 3D columns to your architectural designs though. Anything more complicated would be done with Advance Steel, and perhaps by a structural engineer. You should check out my videos on structural objects in AutoCAD. th-cam.com/video/BiLnNXcVY6c/w-d-xo.html
During your video i noticed you did the columns in 2D and i believe you said that you could submit the plan that way (correct me if i am wrong). Is this the acceptable norm? Do you do the same thing for upper floors. When does beams come into the picture?. I got a lot of questions but that's the nature of your videos..always brain stimulating
Great questions! Thanks for checking out my videos. There's a lot more we could do to this house, but I only did the bare minimum in this series. Yes you would do the same for upper floors. Beams come in the picture when we do the section views and call-out details. Keep dropping your questions.
Hi, In this episode, we did learn how to produce customized shapes of column. However, where can I find the similar for the beams? Actually I want to produce concrete beams of different x-sections.
@@TDVision_U Thanks for the reply. I would like to ask if you have a video about adding materials ? Also do you know if there is any source for adding more content in AutoCAD pallet library (if this is possible of course)?
Unfortunately I do not know a source for other AEC objects that can be downloaded. But of course, there must be one online. I do plan on doing a video on material.
@@TDVision_U Thank you .Keep the good work , you are helping a lot with those videos. p.s. I tried some 3d blocks dwg and worked although there are some issues with point insertion and size (depending the source)
some guy pulled your entire video off in 2mins, sorry bro, i understand the need for detail but i would kindly advise you shorten your videos please...
OK now I know what the column is, what I need to do next is to draw it on AutoCAD :)
Another good production
Thanks man!!!. We all are enjoying tour videos. You are great mentor. When you gonna talk about sec/ele styles/dispoay system?

Excellent tutorials!!!!! Thank you!!!! A video about 3d coloumns and concrete beams would be great if you can upload, please!!!
Thank you! Check out my video on custom 3D columns th-cam.com/video/BiLnNXcVY6c/w-d-xo.html

How do draw stepped foundations? Can you do a video for a foundation on a sloped terrain
Definitely! I will add it to my to-do list. I have quite a bit of requested videos on there.
Great lesson on blocks. how do you make them into 3D. Like real columns
th-cam.com/video/BiLnNXcVY6c/w-d-xo.html
What if the column placement for the foundation is different from the individual floor plans.
The name is SNIPES. Thank you.
I sometimes see persons using I-Stiffeners at a T joint which confuses me. Do you know why this is done and when it can be done?

@@TDVision_U Hello again. Edward a year ago we spoke about beams. Did you do a video on this area similar to the one you did on columns?.
Hi, In this episode, we did learn how to produce customized shapes of column. However, where can I find the similar for the beams? Actually I want to produce concrete beams of different x-sections.
Yes you can. I will do a video on that in the near future. Thanks.
Str8 out mi bally
Sir great video, bytheway with revit and this ACA how sir
Can you rephrase the question?
Where can i download the pdf of columns and i am using Autocad architecture 2015 am i able to add columns with it?
Check the videos description for PDF. Yes you should be able to get columns in ACA 2015
@@TDVision_U Thank you very much got it
nice video but I dont understand why you dont use customcolumn command to creat a column from polyline?
You're right, we could do that. I plan on doing that on my next project for the channel.

That's great. You'll have to teach me that one day.
