Your video was what helped me decide to buy a Zojirushi. I just got it in the mail today and used it for the first time. It's excellent. Thank you for you videos Hoon.
This is awesome - I've been watching Hoon's Coffee channel for a couple years now and was excited that he has a Zojirushi as I'm looking for a good rice cooker. I know he'll give a great and honest review!
Been using Zojirushi Rice Cookers (2) for over 15years. Only complaint is that the clock battery cannot be changed. When it dies, it's dead. Good review.
I have the similar 3 cup version for about 5 years too. I prefer to rinse my rice in a separate rice strainer basket in order to protect the coating of the bowl. I didn't know that the small plastic piece on top was removable so thanks for pointing that out.
Just myself, it's usually 1 cup white or 1 cup sushi rice. For only 1 of 2 cups, the smaller model in theory should perform better than the higher capacity versions.
Awesome video, I just purchased the 5 cup one today. Your instructions and video have helped. Where did you get the bamboo steamer, and utensils you use for cooking. Do you have a video on utensils you use?
That is a very nice rice cooker my good sir. I have been holding off on buying one. Haven’t seen too many people make seasoned rice more of plain white rice in rice cookers. (Jollof rice, Mexican rice, dirty rice)
I just bought the same model of Zōjirushi, so this review is promising, since I plan to keep this rice cooker long term. Have you needed to get the clock battery replaced yet?
I have had one at least 10 years. Do not use it often. But it is the best of all the ones I have had in over 40 years.
I love your rice cooker! Your videos need to go viral! :)

I have the 3 cup too it’s just me and my wife. If we had 5 kids we would need the 10 cup 😂

nice review thank you :)

I like your WDT with the Jasmine rice. 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you so much I’m shopping for a rice cooker I have a Aroma rice cooker and it didn’t last 1 year

Look on TH-cam for Rice Cooker recipes. They're out there. I have made many different "meals" in mine.
How long does the rice stay nice and fluffy in the "keep warm" setting before it gets hard/yellow?
Perogy rice? That's new to me ;)
Thank you for the review. I'm in the market for a rice cooker for my small family.
No scratches inside the inner pot? Does the coating drop out?
Good
is the rice bowl coating non-toxic? Looking for rice cooker without chemical coating. I make rice every day.
How long does ik take to cook 4 cups of rice?

They last 5-7 years. Then they die and there's no replacing the battery.
Yikes! I’d advise against cooking four cups of rice..
Why
Buy the 10 cup model.
