I tried the one with vegetables in it and it was freaking awesome! I used spam, tomato, and frozen vegetables and it was bomb! Just season with soy sauce and you sir/ma’am will have an easy meal! 😄
I’ve tried both of these recipes and I have to say they say super easy and absolutely delicious! The best thing is that you can customise all the ingredients to your liking! I even made a simpler version of Biriyani in my rice cooker!

I've been making that for a while now (learned it from Strictly Dumpling) and I also add a few dashes of Old Bay Seasoning to the rice and tomato before cooking. It's one of the recipes I reach for when I have an extra tomato that I don't know what else to do with.

Abdul Lakosha no to reduce the starch frim the rice grain. Reason he disnt washed it because he wanted to keep the starch from the grains. Just guessing
@Tf Oh Firstly, you pour enough water on the rice. Second, press the rice or squeeze it like you have some sort of anger on it. Then drain the water but be careful or you might spill the rice. Repeat that 2 or 3 times to ensure that the rice is clean. After that, pour water for cooking and measure it, in my case (or maybe... in Asian's case), use the mighty middle finger to measure your water. Your finger must be on the rice bed(lol) not on the bottom of the pot. The water must be align with that first line on your middle finger.

@@Medinalegend I think any rice cooker can "cook itself", you don't need to worry about the time (or do?). The only secret is to let it rest for 10 min -ish without opening the lid when it says the rice is ready.
I tried it, its very very nice. Can just use any pot for almost any dish, no need rice cooker. Vice versa, can use rice cooker for almost any dish, no need oven or stove if your room dont have any. Rice cooker is great because it switches off by itself when the inside dried up. So no fire hazard. Rice and water in first. Switch to low heat when going to boil. Dice up your leftovers from the fridge. Throw the stuff into the pot too. Throw seasoning into the pot, i sort of think maybe he said: Garlic Onion Soy sauce Olive oil Salt Pepper Vinegar Green chilli Red chilli Because you cook rice first then dice chop the veges and meat. So by the time you dump in last seasoning. Your dish is ready to eat. For the unfastidious, dont bother to fry the garlic, just dump it directly into the cooking pot. This is very time efficient and money efficient and space efficient and labour efficient method. You save money on grocery and fridge space. Your leftovers keep getting recycled till its all eaten up eventually. For one pot dish, put in in this order Uncooked beans Rice Sprouted beans and rice Meat / cooked beans Veges So that everything gets cooked at the same time and the veges still look green and crunchy not wilted. For veges scraps, regrow using the plant base containing roots in any garden pot. Then you can progressively decrease your grocery. Especially immediately you will never ever need to buy scallions, chives, spring onion leaves. Because if you simply cut the leaves by an inch, it regrow another inch in one day! It will outgrow your ability to eat it. Soon you will have to replace all your green veges with spring onion leaves because it will be growing too fast. You can grow a forest of foods indoor using vege scraps, seeds and roots and recycled food containers. No need to buy garden pots.

i just got one Rice cooker for christmas and i love it soo much. its so easy to use , just cutting some things and then it will cook myself . from this video idea i tryed rice , whole tomatoe , some mushrooms , chicken and peas and then on pan some oyster sauce + water , garlic, onion , sugar and Soy sace and it was amazing. tryed even with ham and corn and it was still tasty. i am excited to try new things with it , i can cook but i am not good on it , can do just easy recipes and so thats why i cant even say how much i love that rice cooker :D
most rice don't recally need washing anymore. it's really just ceremonious because the rice these days arenot mixed with dirt and sand anymore. some rice packages in the US actually asks you not to wash the rice coz they've added iron onto the rice, washing the rice will wash away the fortification too.

i just got one Rice cooker for christmas and i love it soo much. its so easy to use , just cutting some things and then it will cook myself . from this video idea i tryed rice , whole tomatoe , some mushrooms , chicken and peas and then on pan some oyster sauce + water , garlic, onion , sugar and Soy sace and it was amazing. tryed even with ham and corn and it was still tasty. i am excited to try new things with it , i can cook but i am not good on it , can do just easy recipes and so thats why i cant even say how much i love that rice cooker :D
Those were not shiitake mushrooms. They were cremini (baby portobello). But it’s cool cause I LOVE LOVE this channel.

most rice don't recally need washing anymore. it's really just ceremonious because the rice these days arenot mixed with dirt and sand anymore. some rice packages in the US actually asks you not to wash the rice coz they've added iron onto the rice, washing the rice will wash away the fortification too.

Wut... Rice is washed to remove starch, which can make dishes too thick... not to get rid of dirt lol.
@@BassssicBasssssssss Before the advent of industrialization to agriculture, washing rice to remove dirt and debris from the hulling process was the main reason and still is in under developed countries. Washing to remove starch is a luxury derided from prosperity.

chino as a Chinese American.... I cannot even fathom how one would cook rice any other way.... and have it still be fluffy and edible! Seriously! A rice cooker is the best single function kitchen appliance there is. It does its job with just the push of one button and have it come out PERFECTLY Aeschylus and every time. No matter how much you cook, as long as the ratios are correct.

You can use a pressure cooker or Instant Pot if you have one instead of a rice cooker
