    • @07kamichamakarin
      @07kamichamakarin 5 ปีที่แล้ว +75

@Tf Oh Firstly, you pour enough water on the rice. Second, press the rice or squeeze it like you have some sort of anger on it. Then drain the water but be careful or you might spill the rice. Repeat that 2 or 3 times to ensure that the rice is clean.
After that, pour water for cooking and measure it, in my case (or maybe... in Asian's case), use the mighty middle finger to measure your water. Your finger must be on the rice bed(lol) not on the bottom of the pot. The water must be align with that first line on your middle finger.

I tried it, its very very nice. Can just use any pot for almost any dish, no need rice cooker. Vice versa, can use rice cooker for almost any dish, no need oven or stove if your room dont have any. Rice cooker is great because it switches off by itself when the inside dried up. So no fire hazard. Rice and water in first. Switch to low heat when going to boil. Dice up your leftovers from the fridge. Throw the stuff into the pot too. Throw seasoning into the pot, i sort of think maybe he said:
    Garlic
    Onion
    Soy sauce
    Olive oil
    Salt
    Pepper
    Vinegar
    Green chilli
    Red chilli
Because you cook rice first then dice chop the veges and meat. So by the time you dump in last seasoning. Your dish is ready to eat. For the unfastidious, dont bother to fry the garlic, just dump it directly into the cooking pot. This is very time efficient and money efficient and space efficient and labour efficient method. You save money on grocery and fridge space. Your leftovers keep getting recycled till its all eaten up eventually.
For one pot dish, put in in this order
    Uncooked beans
    Rice
    Sprouted beans and rice
    Meat / cooked beans
    Veges
So that everything gets cooked at the same time and the veges still look green and crunchy not wilted.
For veges scraps, regrow using the plant base containing roots in any garden pot. Then you can progressively decrease your grocery. Especially immediately you will never ever need to buy scallions, chives, spring onion leaves. Because if you simply cut the leaves by an inch, it regrow another inch in one day! It will outgrow your ability to eat it. Soon you will have to replace all your green veges with spring onion leaves because it will be growing too fast.
You can grow a forest of foods indoor using vege scraps, seeds and roots and recycled food containers. No need to buy garden pots.

most rice don't recally need washing anymore. it's really just ceremonious because the rice these days arenot mixed with dirt and sand anymore. some rice packages in the US actually asks you not to wash the rice coz they've added iron onto the rice, washing the rice will wash away the fortification too.

chino as a Chinese American.... I cannot even fathom how one would cook rice any other way.... and have it still be fluffy and edible! Seriously! A rice cooker is the best single function kitchen appliance there is. It does its job with just the push of one button and have it come out PERFECTLY Aeschylus and every time. No matter how much you cook, as long as the ratios are correct.
