I think it’s interesting to see how her life has changed but, I wish they wouldn’t have intercut the video. It would been nice to see the broadway video then her Covid life back to back instead of intertwined.

this is why Broadway actors are very respected.
This is why I admire the Broadway community 10x as much as the Hollywood community. I mean, these actors have to act, sing, and dance 8 times a WEEK and are expected to give their 100% best energy into ALL of their performances no matter how tired they might be. They don't get breaks. They don't get re-takes. They do this all LIVE and the show goes on no matter what mistakes they make because at the end of the day, they have to look back and say they did their best. I also admire how down to earth they are. Some are not only performing 8 times a week, but some are also working side jobs because they need a source of income to pay bills, and Broadway just doesnt pay that much. It keeps them level headed and makes it so they don't think they're above everyone else and feel more relatable to to normal people on the streets. Never take these people for granted. They have more talent then you'll ever see on the screen.

I saw her as Maria in February and she was amazing, such a stunning voice. So sad that the show had to shut down, and hopefully it will open up again soon. I want to see it a second time!

this is actually what i really want to do with my life. be on broadway and go to juilliard. i’ve been working on my voice for 14 years and working on opera for a little over a year. every time i sing, i fall more in love with my art

I got my degree in vocal performance, and I’m just trying to wrap my head around the fact that she is a LEAD in a Broadway musical, while studying FULL TIME at Juliard.
I’d say her career is off to a uniquely amazing start.

I got to see her in West Side back in late February, and I was lucky enough to meet her after the show, and she was one of the kindest, most talented, and sweetest people I've ever met in my entire life! Her performance as Maria was absolutely incredible, and she's truly an amazing actress

I can't tell you how long i have been waiting for a video of a broadway peformer. I litreally jumped out of my seat. It is my dream to be a musical theatre actress, so i am so glad this video is finally here.

I would love to have this as a job I love acting and singing and being on stage. I'm just shy... really really shy. My dad doesn't even know what I want to do with my life. I want to maybe make my debut by the time I'm a teen. Maybe that will happen. But im glad they posted these videos with her. Can you next do a child stars routine during and after quarantine? If it's not too much trouble?
I get you. I'm also really shy, and it's very hard for me to be open about my passion, especially with my parents. You gotta one day sit with him and tell him what you love to do, what you aspire to be, what your ambition is. It'll be easier to start working towards your dream once he knows what it is. I also recommend searching everything you can about musical theatre\acting, singing & dancing separately, it'll really help. Also starting to take acting classes, vocal coaching etc. will be very helpful in the future!

It was really cool to see the March to April comparisons. I'm so surprised she's still in such a good mood, though. I'm only in a local band, but it was heartbreaking to have to cancel all our upcoming shows. Everyone go and support local theatre and music when it's safe to do so. We don't want this industry to die.

I saw West Side Story in previews on February 8th and it was great! Different, edgy, but a fresh viewpoint in the story. She did amazing as Maria!

It would've flowed better to do the entire stage routine first then do the current routine. Rather than a bunch of scattered clips thrown together with no continuity. And way too heavy on the quarantine... we all know about that life!

When she sang opera....omg.
I love the difference between normal and lockdown. Like waking up late, going late to the bed, watching Netflix, making an awesome breakfast, and loving it, no make up, cutting her own bangs. She is so pure, honest, and sunshining. But I am sorry for her, that she didn't have normal graduation and the theatres were shut down. It is a sad situation generally.

Try not to compare yourself to others. She probably has abilities and resources to do things that you don’t have, and you have abilities and things that she doesn’t have. Do the best you can do and look to others as inspiration! I believe in you!

I would love to be in musical theater but I can barely sing... I’m still only a teen so I’m planning to take lessons but there is only so much your voice can grow, so sadly I think I will only be able to play minor roles and obviously off broadway. I would love to play a role in a movie or show but there is a ‘standard beauty’ that I feel like you need to be an actor on tv. I do think I’m beautiful (I try to stay positive) but I also know that the chances are most likely not in my favor. Idk I have hope but I also try to be in touch with reality and the chances of me doing these things are pretty small.
HOW does she manage to stay so optimistic during COVID? I lost my job and couldn't study and my depression got so much worse and I barely get up every day, let alone smile...
