- they say home is where the heart is, and 'wherever you go, there you are.' i often ask myself, is the city? or is it me? honestly, it might be me. stillness is the only way i've been able to begin to figure out what it is that i'm actually in search of and longing for.
this past year in Atlanta has taught me a little bit. While it's not my forever city, staying put versus forcing myself out of this new flow state feels like the best thing to do. who knows where i'll end up? NYC, Los Angeles or maybe even Colorado? all i know is that no matter where I go next, i'll find my soft landing. i hope your week is going amazing! take care all ways, always. enjoy! xo ❣️

Enjoying your content. I lost my husband of 30 years to cancer a few years back. The grief is better, but I struggle living alone. I've never really lived alone. Even when I did a few times post college, I was dating my husband, so I wasn't really ever alone alone. Im like, "What do people do alone?" It's a weird adjustment, and then there is still the missing that is magnified by the quiet.
Your vlogs are a VIBE!!! I think you should stay in Atlanta. You seemed so unhappy in LA :/. However, I only got see a little bit of your Life in NY when you visited. So, maybe NY would do you good, because NY alone for content creators is another world…but it is overpriced for a shoebox of an apartment if you know what I mean! Rooting for you to make the best decision for YOU. You are blossoming!
I didn’t want to look at the cords from my electronics, so I wrapped them in jute rope and they look super cute and I painted the white component with nail polish

I started wheelthrowing/pottery this year! And I absolutely love it. 10/10 recommend... It's also helped me to practice the "art of letting go".. first time in my life I've accepted being an amateur at something and I'm okay with the journey of getting better :) so i hope you find a great pottery studio to learn at!

It’s not my business but I’m glad to hear you say you’re staying in Atlanta for the time being! Idk I found your videos when you were moving to ATL and idk it feels like a good place for you! But I understand wanting to find the right place and not just apartment but like you said, home! I thought I loved LA too, and I have both good and horrible memories there, but I moved to Boston spontaneously back at the end of 2020 and I really feel like I’ve found my spot here. But there’s still time because I haven’t traveled the world just yet hahaha. Again good to see your videos and the office space is soooooo cute!
