The new office looks amazing! I’m currently working on a home office makeover. It’s hard because my style has matured so much over the years. I have some of these same pieces like that Hovet mirror and I just ordered wood panel samples. Love the vibes.
we’re living (somewhat) parallel lives. i’ve been searching for home for years. unexpected events and job changes have brought me to three different cities (and states) since leaving the one that felt most like home. i haven’t gone back there only because the cost of living is so much higher than what i’ve adjusted to since living in parts of the country that are less costly. i’ve been in my current location for two years. my lease is up in july, like yours. i was hoping to leave this area but haven’t decided where to next. this city is good enough but not my ideal. it’s not my style. other than the much lower cost of living, there isn’t a compelling reason for me to stay. that one reason is a big one though. my lease renewal decision is due in just a few days. i’ll probably renew. reluctantly. and with curiosity if the third year here will be my last. OR! i wouldn’t mind if a new compelling reason to *want* to stay here surfaced. ✨ enjoyed the vlog as always. curious to see where you land too… 🖤✨
I started wheelthrowing/pottery this year! And I absolutely love it. 10/10 recommend... It's also helped me to practice the "art of letting go".. first time in my life I've accepted being an amateur at something and I'm okay with the journey of getting better :) so i hope you find a great pottery studio to learn at!
