I moved back with my parents in my late 20s. It was so stressful and I almost felt as if I failed. When I tell you I was able to pay off ALL my debt and buy a house and save so much money. I did it in 3 years. I also helped my parents with their home. It was such a blessing in disguise. Take advantage of having your family ❤

My son just moved back home too. He hated the thought of coming back. This is a reset not a failure. I did the same in my late 20s. Stayed for 2 and 1/2 years . Was focused paid all my debt off and bought a house. You live and learn and you come out better in the end financially, mentally, spiritually.. it’s a win win!

Sabrina, you got this girl. I felt the same way when we had to make a wise decision to move out of our dream home. Things just became too overwhelming but we have been blessed so much since making that decision over 10 years ago. God has another plan for you.

Thanks for sharing this part of your life. It's so relatable. I moved back in with my parents a few times in my 20s, which was truly a blessing. It felt like a step back in my self development, especially the last time, but I soared forward at 29 once I completed my goals (finishing grad school with a permanent job) and completed the self work. Hang in there!

❤❤❤It’s ok to start over. Nothing is wrong with starting over. That’s what I tell myself. I’m planning accordingly, not trying to over stimulate myself with task. It’s a blessing to have the option to move back home. There is always something better over the hill.

This video fed my soul! I also shared this with my daughter who is struggling with fining herself and place in the world. It’s been a battle with losing 3 loved ones in past three years as she pushes herself to finish college. She made the decision to move back home and finish the last semester online. It was rough but i think she’s learning each day that her path is unique and not to compare to her peers on “where she should be”

I had to move back in with my parents at 31 I had a one year old son, me and his dad didn’t work out and I couldn’t afford to live on my own. I took a pay cut when we had him i started working remotely so I could be home with him since daycares so damn expensive. So now I am stuck and I don’t know what I want to do next. I don’t know if I want to try to put him in daycare and look for a higher paying job or keep doing what I’m doing and just work on saving and paying off my debt while being able to be with my son. It’s hard and I’m still getting through it but everything happens for a reason. While I’m beating myself up for having to move back home I’m also loving being able to be with him all day and see him reach so many milestones and watching him with his grandparents. Take in all the good of this and don’t look at it as a set back. Enjoy being with your family making more memories saving money and you’ll find your path. I’m still finding mine but I’m embracing every moment of it. ❤

I havnt watched yet it’s only two seconds in an I paused to write first. I truly thank you for showing realness and for showing vulnerability instead of faking it on here like everyone else. I truly feel this chapter is gonna be incredible for you and is for a bigger purpose. I recently moved back in with my parents same age as you as a mom and was so ashamed that I needed to move back home but it has been the biggest blessing and I can’t wait to see what comes from this. Enjoy the moments enjoy the time with your family and here for the journey with you

For the shower door- try Dawn soap, white vinegar and warm water. It works so well to break that soap scum down!

When life tells you “it’s time to go” listen to it or it’ll jolt you unexpected ways. I definitely waited too long a couple of times & tried to make it work and then chaos. Life knows (and you) when it’s time to move on. Good for you for listening. It’s always better after but in meantime that in-between time is going to hurt. Thank you for your honesty & vulnerability. Not a lot of people would humble themselves & put aside their ego. Appreciate watching your journey. I’m so happy you have your parents. ❤ What’s next is going to be incredible ✨

Everything looks so nice. So glad to hear that you are back with your family. Was kinda worried about you with the anxiety you’ve been experiencing lately. I know it was a hard decision, but I think you know it was the best and only decision that made sense. Things will work out and you will be ahead of the game by so so much when all is said and done. Don’t rush the process or be too hasty to move out on your own again. Relax, rest awhile. Sorry for your loss. Looking forward to more updates! 💜

You’re going to do great. You followed your instincts and just trust it was meant to be. You have somewhere to go until you get things sorted out and get your life set up again. That’s what’s important.
I currently got thrown a curveball recently and my landlord asked me to move. I have been living alone for the first time for the past three years and I was so excited and happy to be living on my own, being able to have my place as I wanted, my own privacy. Now I’m feeling so unsure because I don’t have a parent home to go back to, and rent is so expensive that I’m not sure I can afford it. And at the same time I don’t want to share an apartment. So I’m going through so many emotions right now.

Sending so much love and prayer to your family and to you. Im so sorry for your loss. I know losing a family member, especially a grandparent is truly so difficult.
I also wanted to thank you for being so vulnerable in your vlog and showing that it’s okay and possible. As someone who struggles with this, seeing you do this almost gives me courage to do the same in my own life. Your hope gives me hope. Like I look at my life and think, okay, maybe it’s not so bad that I am where I currently am as long as I continue to work on myself and towards my future.

Hello Sabrina I’m a new subscriber to your channel. After watching a few of your videos I connected with your content. I to just had to move after 5 years but I strongly believe everything happens for a good reason. It’s ok to take a few steps back in order to get where we need to be in life. You’re on your way to bigger goals.
A suggestion to restore your shower glass is to use the “pink stuff” that’s the name of the product with a steamer. I use that cleaner for everything, trust me it works. You rub the glass let it sit for a few minutes then use the steamer. Let me know how it works out for you 😊
Thank you for your transparency and decoration ideas. Sending you lots of blessings, clarity in everything you decide to do and hugs 🤗

You could paint the frame of your shower black and if you don’t like the tile color get some tile tub paint or or a cover it with a wainscot look or that picture frame molding look. Use Dawn dishwashing liquid right on a wet rag and some bleach if you like. It literally melts right off. You could even use the the Dawn Power wash too

This is only a stigma in the US culture. In many foreign countries the adult children remain at home with parents until marriage.

for your shower, use something called spray nine, it’s in home depot it’s stinky wear a mask plz, but it should get your shower doors sparkling!!! it’s strong, heavy duty, you can water it down, hope this helps, Sending you lots of love through this transition!!! GOD GOT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!🙏🏼❤️!

Room is looking great, I would recommend Limeaway (not sure if that’s how it’s called) for your shower. Just make sure you open your windows and it’s ventilated.

Hopefully the flooring stays put. Is it expensive? I would have recommended luxury vinyl plank. Most like more expensive but it’s more like a click in place thing.

Magic eraser for shower door works as a first wipe down to remove soap scum. ❤

Well wow it’s so nice that you were basically able to just move just into another smaller apartment & not right in the middle of your parents house

Aww I love your blogs and I typically don’t comment but I love your transparency, You’re strength to let go of something we take so much pride in is beautiful and that’s when god works the most because you were being
obedient 🤍 even when it’s hard you have to trust his plans 🙏🏾

God told me to move home last year and I didn’t. Worse year ! So this year we are being obedient. So thankful me and my daughter can! It’s crazy, when you think about the detours you go through in life .

It really does work out the way it's supposed to sometimes! I know the feeling of not being obedient oh so well. We all do!
