    I built my alu-extrusion rig with seat and all the profiles for a bit over €600,- So yeah, this seat is indeed quite expensive.
    I do like the seat itself, it's got nice lateral support from the looks of it.
    People also use the harness to keep their back against the seat. Some people overextend their back when driving a sim, therefore they strap themselves in.
    Great review, even though I'm fully equipped ;)

      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At least 150€ of it is due to the name it carries. For me, 650€ would be a price that would suit this rig better with what you get. The seating area is the bomb though.... wish I could swap it with the SimXpro I have now.. my ass gets stiff when I sit in it too long :D Well, I hadn't thought of the harness for that, but yeah, I can imagine it keeps your back nice and straight. It looks a bit silly though from an 'outsider' point of view if you would do that to sim-race :D

    I'm glad NLR have finally got the seat part of the cockpit right and looks super comfortable but have to agree with people saying it's a bit expensive .My GT Omega Prime aluminium profile rig was only £678 with a discount code[no casters tho to be fair] but if you are a NLR die hard it's still a big step up from an F-GTp.s Great review as ever ,can you move in your house for cockpits ?Lol

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว

      Let's say 1/4th of it is going to the NLR brandname. But in all fairness... I wish I could have kept the seating area. It's truely one of the best... and the castors... amazing. I will have to add them to my own rig now too. I had some difficulites 2 weeks ago with the Obutto and the Nitrokart still hanging around but I fortunately managed to sell them, with a substantial loss, but at least I can move around in my garage again :D

    Sir, you have no idea how useful showing all the measurements was. Thank you so much. Would you happen to have one for the from the floor (without the casters) to where the seat mounts? So basically the space between the two outside edges of the parallel bars under the seat, it looks like about 20cm.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unfortunately I have limited space in my garage and that rig has found a new owner :) I did however review all the pictures I had of the GTTrack but couldn't find it. On the pictures of the FGT that I have, I found measurements on the back legs, total length 24cm, and in an angle, should be between 15 and 20cm yes.

    I don't know how, but you keep 'em coming. :) Good video as always. Focussed on important things and giving personal experience.
    I would suggest to change the German video title. Rückblick is technically a good translation for review, but it doesn't fit in the context. Just change it to "Review" , "Test" or "Rezension"... Rückblick is usually more something going back to something from the past and giving an overview about that.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว

      Aha, but I found the key now, I made quite a few reviews in the holidays, and I program them ahead, like that I can have also more time to work on the specials. ;) I know that German is pissing me off, it changes every time I put it in google translate, sometimes its Rückblick, sometimes its review, sometimes Rezension and sometimes even something completely different! I don't understand why. I did correct it now and will try to keep it like that in future video's. Thank you my friend, as always for the kind words :)

      @@SimulatedDrivingResource Exactly ! It's the price VS what it does that has me interested, I have never used that kind of stuff either , just found it to be too expensive for the buttkicker etc But this one is reasonable and is used as a seat insert with easy hook up ! the price might not be a problem everywhere
    its 750 $ here and that's the cheapest way to get a decent rig and the closest rigs to it in value are the other next level racing rigs
    (delivery can be expensive sometimes)

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends indeed from region to region. Some are more expensive then others. Bottom Line for me, its a good seat with good features and if you think the price is good value, you will not be disappointed with what you get. Thanks for the feedback friend

    Would you prefer this over the SimXPro X80? I already have a wheelstand 2.0 so I could add the GTSeat Addon but I'm considering which will serve me better in the long term

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A very good question and not easy to answer. A profile rig offers more configurability. Like with the positioning of the shifter and attachment of the handbrake. There are also more add-ons and you dont necessarily need to stay with the same brand for them because of the profiles. But... it is more bulky, is (personal) less estetchically pleasing and still also very expensive if you start to "add" parts. Looking at it from a resale-point, the profile-rigs do tend to keep their value better. Both are very stable and will handle high-end wheelbases and pedals. Tough choice friend... you already have the wheelstand, so budget-wise it would make sense just to buy the addon. Personally, from a perspective of buying it all new and keeping in mind that I might sell it afterwards, the SimXPro would be my choice as it offers more bang for buck in the end but no matter what you choose, you will not regret it. Both are very decent rigs.

    hi, i was just wondering, does the moza r9 wheel base and Moza Crp Load cell pedals fit on this rig?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As far as I can find on google. The R9 fit without adaptations. R5 can only be fixed with 2 holes. I couldnt get a definite answer for pedals but as far as I read, there should not be an issue attaching them with at least 2 attachment points

    Hi. Does this handle simucube 2pro and fanatec v3 pedals?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure it does handle it. But I would recommend, for that price, invest in something a bit more beefier like an alu profile rig or a tubular frame with large diameter tubes for a wheelbase with this sort of power.

      @@SimulatedDrivingResource thanks for the reply mate but those are out of reach to buy with import tax and all. It is almost double the money i need to pay for shipping and import duty. • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@3dravid I understand. Perhaps it is possible to assemble your own rig via a local merchant of extrusion profiles to make it less expensive? The profiles used in simrigs are also used in warehouses and for greenhouses. One of my last videos, I built one and highlighted the parts you might need. Dont get me wrong, the GT Track IS a good rig but I test the rigs with a wheelbase about 1/3th of the Peak torque output of your hardware and I suspect it will cause some noticeable flex when you will use it.
