If Ryu wasnt so damn cool and my favorite character, I would be training with somebody else which needs higher skills. Ive mained as Ryu ever since the original street fighter came out. Ryu is so inspirational lol.
lol to ironreda... i've seen too ways of scaoing unblockablem down parring and knees will drop if i remember right (and you get some dmg), and this, i think was cool, good to know it works..
when you use SAII. your oponent will be less agressive when ur meter is full. so you use the EX meter strageticly to bait ur opponent into fighing you. Then with a dragon punch your meter is full you then must chain in the super unexpectly as soon as it gets full.
yes i agree. i actually feel great people respect Ryu players so much although Yun players do indeed need more skills and training to execute properly.
I agree as well. I mean...hell Ken and Chun are probably are just as "noob"-like as people say ryu is...and look where they are on the tier lists...complication doesn't necessarily mean the best...
That was one of the better matches ive seen. Both players were killing it...
Yes!! i love the finishing combo!! 👏👏
wow Ruu's punishment game is on point.
really tense match by two extremly good players. very well-played.

just wondering... isn't this unblockable?
Awesome comeback from Ryu in this one, love it!
Gotta hand it to Ruu for this one. Even gods have to fall someday, and this is no exception.
How do you do all those consecutive chariot rushes?
I'm gonna have to contradict myself. Ruu played very well himself. He was pressured really well 2nd and 3rd round and knew when to go in on RX.
It's also got a very small bar considering how much damage it does.
Is this the same Ruu that plays bridget in Guilty Gear?
I caught it, shows how beast RX's parry skillz are
@nightbessa I dont think you even know what charge buffering is.

YES!! that was bad ass. thought he almost lost it there.
you cant always rely on sa2. in certain situations you have to use ex meters. then when you get the opportunity, you throw out the super.
OMG, wow, that was a very unexpected result.
good match. sick urien player

wow crazy match
Watching this years later as a true player, Ruu did get very lucky about 4x or so. RXs overall game was better but Ruu stuck it out and won. Good game
DAMNNNNN excellent job by Ruu to beat RX

Ryu rocks! And if you ask me, that's one patient Ryu.
Great match !
As someone mentioned it, Ryu has to work a lot more in this MU to win.
Urien's combos are way too powerful beside his unblockables !!!
so is ken
I mean in general. Normal combos and hit confirming is easier with ken sure there exceptions.
sa2 is good for patient players who play fundamentally and smart.
charge partition
WOAH

ryu kicks ass
true ken is alot easier because he requires less strict timing and has more options.
Ryu's the man
(0:32) It's clobbering time! LMAO
@nightbessa Did you see 1:38?? The Ryu player worked just as hard you scrub.
stop at 0:14
@nightbessa you should only talk like that about combos you can actually do yourself.
Ruu's Ryu is strong.
ruu is no joke.
OMFG ANOTHER RX LOSS!
ohh urien combos make all the work,
Ruu had to play 3 times better to win
not true at all.
