I'm glad that no comment here is saying that SF4 is garbage. I can't understand why people hate it so much. It has lots of depth to it, and the FADC separates the men from the boys. I love both SF3 and 4, and play them quite a lot.
Wow, 2:38 to 2:57 was pretty ridiculous. Poor Necro didn't even get a chance to move. And I agree with everybody saying that this trumps SF4. Ever since I played SF3: Third Strike in the arcades, it's been my favorite fighting game. To this day, it remains king. SF4 does indeed feel dumbed down in comparison. If this was on Xbox live, I'd probably buy the console for this alone.
@Otahell999 I agree with you man, i love SF4, but ive realized that ive been using the shortcuts (DP shortcuts for example) and then to do bad when im playing SF3 on GGPO, but i still love it, its frustrating sometimes, but its awesome when you run into someone of similar skill level and actually enjoy the game, thats when i get better
@SuperSF4yeaaa the only way it can be hard on an xbox controller is if it is so broken that you can push foward twice, in which case its probably time to save up for a new controller
If they hadn't made the characters so bizarre, it probably would have been played by more people. I like the fighting engine a lot. Even so, SF4 is so much fun...
SF 3S is my fave SF. All the characters are so different it attracts so many people because theres like a character for everyone. Remy forever Ibuki for a while.
i agree totally. parrying makes the game a million times more balanced than sf4. focus attacks are ok but it makes the play style more defensive and sitting on your lead. i have both and i enjoy sf3 much more
i love how uriens throw can literally turn a whole match around for him. look at 4:48. rx was getting dominated in the corner and stole the round with that 1 throw.
@DualDuel im confused, normally when someone says a game is dumbed down it means they find it alot easier, you seem to be the only one who thinks that FADC is hard
Yeah electric snake does mad stun and if you're in the corner Necro can do some crazy juggle combos... Magnetic storm is usually an anti-air super but it doesn't have as many good uses
Imo 3rd strike has a vastly superiour defencive system over that of sf4. The parry system puts you in so much more different situations and has much more uses than the focus system. My main problem with 3rd strike is the lack of a counter hit system. If it had that I might have called it the best fighter but now Im not sure.
Why does Sugiyama aand Pino always choose Electric Snake over Magnetic Storm? I always though Magnetic Storm was way better. The only advantage I see Electric Snake having is more EX attacks.
What's up with the crowd in this video? Every time Pino won the crowd applauded loudly. When RX got a perfect on him the second match, the crowd was silent as could be. Great set though. This IMO is the best Urien and the best Necro, just puttin' in work.
Urien has a huge advantage over Necro, in damage, speed, priority and defenses. Urien's reach is also comparable to Necro. Necro may have some strange angles that hinder Urien juggles, but this advantage goes squarely to Urien.
True. RX is a great player, but he's not flawless. Nobody is. "Flawless" would mean a player who never takes risks and reaches farther. Even KO, Deshiken, Kuroda, Boss and Hayao aren't flawless. When you're creative and aggressive, you're going to guess wrong sometimes. Doesn't mean you're not great.
@skatestar178 lol, dumbed down? while i agree that 3rd strike is, in my opinion, the better game, 4 is not dumbed down. don't get sad cuz FADC combos are hard to do.
@dethshockbio Even though he's not the best, RX is pretty much legendary status. Pino was the clear underdog in this matchup, though he's a nasty player in his own right!
SFIV is harder on a fundamental level as zoning and footsies work much better. (no parry system) Third Strike is harder on a technical level, the only characters in SFIV that are really technical are C.Viper and Gen, of course all characters have difficult combos but those two stand out.
a lot of things work different with urien when you're fighting necro/twelve, namely a lot of it doesn't work well on them (excluding a few juggles that work well with necro). it wouldn't matter how good a urien is necro isn't a fun fight for the character.
why did the audience have a bias reaction towards RX? Did the necro dude bring his entire posse to feel good about himself? Frankly they are both talented players but the audience didn't see it that way. I did enjoy RX's style anyway. lol c'est la vie...
To me, SF3 will always be superior due to the who way you play it. SF4 seems too defensive and it gets really boring, while SF3 you have more defensive options while still being offensive. That's just me anyway.
If somebody call to you to SF4 go cuz nomatter who win or lose that will be funny and endurable, but if somebody call to you to SF3 dont.......just dont, Buttrape is not something funny man.
The Juggles and Links by both players are just insane.
wow, this makes Third strike look amazing! love the playing style for these characters.

The art direction of this game is unmatched.
2:36 - the beast unleashed
gotta love that s.HK finisher
Oh my. Second round (second set) was absolute rape.
Wow, 2:38 to 2:57 was pretty ridiculous. Poor Necro didn't even get a chance to move. And I agree with everybody saying that this trumps SF4. @JigglyNorris no no no elctic snake is mainly about stunn one of those supers and grab and stun basically!
holy shit i can't believe this was the same necro that 8 hit makoto against a wall in that other video
@Otahell999

OHHH HO HO THE 4TH ROUND!
Goddamn that was intense!
If they hadn't made the characters so bizarre, it probably would have been played by more people. I like the fighting engine a lot. Even so, SF4 is so much fun...

@pikachu1070 You know. I think its that and be being unable to practice it!!
i love how uriens throw can literally turn a whole match around for him. look at 4:48. rx was getting dominated in the corner and stole the round with that 1 throw.
Look for some videos of Sugiyama.
urien and pino are both beasts.
Theshend do you have an xbox account?
@d1andonlytruedman then i'm assuming you hate sf2 turbo
@Batou2006 but you honestly cant get past urien's juggles because he has a million unblockable setups
@DualDuel im confused, normally when someone says a game is dumbed down it means they find it alot easier, you seem to be the only one who thinks that FADC is hard
why is aegis reflector blue in this video ?
It's 2P's Aegis color :)
RX is a freak, I ain't ever going to put my money in the machine when he comes around,
@AntiMatter3000 Nope, that honor would definitely have to go to the Alpha games.
Ooooohhhh... thanks.
@d1andonlytruedman I like the while you put while putting while.
can someone tell me y its looks there moves aree coming out so slow
Yeah electric snake does mad stun and if you're in the corner Necro can do some crazy juggle combos... Magnetic storm is usually an anti-air super but it doesn't have as many good uses
i wanna see RX go up against Aruka. that would be an awesome match!
this is about the 909544789th time i've heard someone say this on here

snake has a lot of stun, generally easier to combo into, and it hits low. and yes you get more ex meter.
Was rooting for Pino. Well played on both sides though.
@Nickcool1996 urien is like seth in the way that necro is like blanka/dhalsim.
wtf do the mirror thigns do
2:35, Rape Extravagance, classic perfect routine. I've seen this happen so many times.
she fainted at the sight of Urien's?
Clash of titans.. but, there can be one god.. RX we salute you :p
(just i love his urien, it's insane)
What's up with the crowd in this video? Every time Pino won the crowd applauded loudly. When RX got a perfect on him the second match, the crowd was silent as could be.
Great set though. This IMO is the best Urien and the best Necro, just puttin' in work.
how can you a do headtbutt when you are dashing ¬¬? thats impossible xD
9 yeas later, charge partitioning haha
Urien has a huge advantage over Necro, in damage, speed, priority and defenses. Urien's reach is also comparable to Necro. Necro may have some strange angles that hinder Urien juggles, but this advantage goes squarely to Urien.
@XxGonixXFAN that would be like saying ryu reminds me of ken they are soooooo different
That's why Urien has won so many tournaments.
Oh wait.
True. RX is a great player, but he's not flawless. Nobody is. "Flawless" would mean a player who never takes risks and reaches farther. Even KO, Deshiken, Kuroda, Boss and Hayao aren't flawless. He has mad skills.
It can even cook breakfast!
@skatestar178 lol, dumbed down? while i agree that 3rd strike is, in my opinion, the better game, 4 is not dumbed down. don't get sad cuz FADC combos are hard to do.
is pino the best Necro player???
@dethshockbio Even though he's not the best, RX is pretty much legendary status. Pino was the clear underdog in this matchup, though he's a nasty player in his own right!
it has a high stun rating and you get two of them
Well Pino is probably the best Necro in the World... RX is just too much of a beast
irrelevant but,
Necro [PinoAB7] vs RX [Urien]
you bracketed [PinoAB7]
and [Urien]
instead of RX/Pino
lol!
street fighter IV has nothing on this game at ALL
3s is soo amazing and deep
@DualDuel no buddy, I'm actually really good at SSF4.
badassssssssssssssssssssssssss
Magnetic storm is highly underrated. Too bad PinoyAB7 missed a few chances to use it.
SFIV is harder on a fundamental level as zoning and footsies work much better. (no parry system) Third Strike is harder on a technical level, the only characters in SFIV that are really technical are C.Viper and Gen, of course all characters have difficult combos but those two stand out.
Yeaph for those who mastered SF3 , SF4 feels like a downgrade. Dont you think?
hehehehe... I wish Twelve, Q and Oro was on sf5 =/
RX is one dirty son of a when it comes to fin up opponents, i said it about kindevu now im a say it about RX ,,
RX = my dad ,,, I wish
@pikachu1070 that FADC in hard with a crappy ass Xbox controller. Damn near impossible.
So basically they're calling Rx out of his cave to bring a live SF5 awwwwwwwww shit!!!!!!!!
Urien=Seth?
Against Pino's godly Necro too =[.
I feel that 2:00 is more painful.
@Nickcool1996 Nah, Urien is just Urien. Gill is Urien's brother. Seth needs to put on some clothes.
they should issue SF3rd Strike online to buy and play on XBOX and PS3. Just how they revived the SF2 Turbo community with SF2 Turbo Remix.
a lot of things work different with urien when you're fighting necro/twelve, namely a lot of it doesn't work well on them (excluding a few juggles that work well with necro). it wouldn't matter how good a urien is necro isn't a fun fight for the character.
97% of life... Urien is awesome.
why did the audience have a bias reaction towards RX? Did the necro dude bring his entire posse to feel good about himself? Frankly they are both talented players but the audience didn't see it that way. I did enjoy RX's style anyway. lol c'est la vie...
RX SMASH!! Rx tired, rx take nap now... zzz...
@guayaba209 Not my favorite to be honest. Still fun though
rx is monster
You got your wish, its just unfortunate it never revived the community much :(
@JIDZXD yeah they cheat
just wait till you play a good necro.
did necro just use his crotch to attack!? o0
To me, SF3 will always be superior due to the who way you play it. SF4 seems too defensive and it gets really boring, while SF3 you have more defensive options while still being offensive. That's just me anyway.
so true....SF4 fails and the funny thing is people actually pride themselves at being good at a dumbed down game.
@T3hS14ppy like parring a jump requires a array of tricks. cause you cant react to a jump in sf4 you say it sucks GTFO.
@d1andonlytruedman SF2 is still better than all of them.
@guayaba209 It was good for it's time. SF4 is not
If somebody call to you to SF4 go cuz nomatter who win or lose that will be funny and endurable, but if somebody call to you to SF3 dont.......just dont, Buttrape is not something funny man.
Perfect game but unbalance cast.
the 2 gayest characters vs each other lol
sf4 to me is more bullshit than anything, shortcuts and the jumping ruin it for me. takes less skill to play sf4 compared to sf3 3rd strike
