I think Necro deserve it more...on 3rd round, all Urien did was one string of combo and bring Necro HP down to 3%...It took a lot more effort for necro to bring him down to the same health bar (And necro survive the corner due to well timed parry)...with good mix-up, combo and throw..necro could overcome those disadvantages.... Sure urien parry cool to look at, but end of the day...Necro derserve the win for putting up twice the effort he needed to beat Urien

the level of skill you can hold in this game is crazy. literal skill. its so intense. this match was tops the thing about 'low tier' characters though, the reality is the compromise is taken in lack of variety and super powerful attacks. the lack of really powerful attacks puts them at a disadvantage. you have to be so tactical and laid back but keep constant pressure all while only staying within the specific boundaries of the character. I think playing lower tier characters at a high level takes a certain way of humbleness.

Justin was confident he'd win the match with it so he just threw it out there without linking or hit confirming and he got punished. Necro's Electric Snake is a projectile, and he recovers before the projectile finishes hitting the opponent. Urien didn't have any options that couldn't be countered or parried by Necro after he parried Electric Snake.
@SuperSF4yeaaa I'm not just talking about graphic improvements I'm talking about having online play and some very slight balancing issues. I like these graphics just the way they are but playing this game online would be SWEET also being able to play it on my 360 would be even sweeter.
@missinherlove he basically has long range pokes and a lot of normals and specials that hit high low. many of his medium and low normals can combo into a special or super. he also has above average stun ability. probably about the same amount as alex but not as much as makoto.
For all those people who say SFIII is better than SFIV. Well I think all SF are good in is own way. SFIII is surely a more ofensive game than the other for the parry. But if you say the other SF suck is cause u never learn to play them. btw for the ppl who say Dhalsim and Blanka are not ofensive like Necro, well is cause the parry but in pro level a Dhalsin is really ofensive using the teleportation mix. And Blanka has a lot of way to atack, a lot of versality. (Sorry for the crappy english)
The one knock that I could find about Urien's Aegis Reflector is that it only gives minimum stun damage when you trap an opponent. Had it had just a little more power, Sugiyama might have lost. All for balance in gameplay, I guess. Also, notice that the different SAs can have different purposes. For instance, Necro's Electric Snake doesn't do as much damage like say, Yang's Raishin Mahaken, but it gives good stun damage so it can come in handy.
lol yeah, same here. I was expecting Messatsu to throw a standing MP to just stiff Sugi in the face, or a low MK. (I still expect to see it even though I've seen this video a few times lol) but I guess electric snake's recovery would have been too quick anyways.
you can get 6 but its incredibly hard in a match setting, the first one has to be a RH tackle and the person has to jump in the corner at the right time so it hits right near the end of the tackle animation. MR CC urien combo video gives you a pretty good idea of the extreme things possible with urien.
They NEED to make an HD remix of this game with online SOOOOO badly. Honestly this is one of my most favorite games of all time and for sure the number one fighting game of all time. The characters are all so unique and awesome to play as. If Capcom has any common sense or love for their fans they will make an HD remix of this game. PEACE x_X

Messatsu was great, he was trying to pull a Daigo there with the parrying and Sugiyama is the Best Necro player I have seen up to date.
