Everest, I really enjoy watching your videos. I love how much you enjoy being out in nature, dealing with extreme weather conditions, being indepedent and travelling the world, and sharing your experiences for those of us who can't do the same.
With regards to the flurry of comments appearing regarding Chantal aka Foodie Beauty, all I would advise is please do not get suckered in to the manipulation tactics. You're unlikely to know the history behind this particular creator and the awful things she has said and done. She wants your sympathy for screenshots to put in a retaliation video. She is literally using you as a pawn and that's not fair on you.
Please continue with your adventures; there are so many of us who genuinely enjoy your content. Don't get pulled in to the drama, it's not worth it. ❤

My sentiments exactly! Some of these videos are so gorgeous I can't believe it's free content and not some premium cable channel. For that reason I make sure to leave engagement. This is the only acknowledgement I'm going to give the headache that ensued.

Context is everything and I think you formed some opinions without hearing both sides of a story. Which is a shame, but understandable when you apparently had some discomfort about the person/community being discussed. Which is again, a shame.
FFG and her community were just enjoying your content and being playful, I assumed you knew that as you had been the one to reach out to FFG to chat with her and accept her support in doing a Q&A at 100k subs - something that she was actively promoting.
Your channel was the respite from feelings of constant frustration and disgust felt when reacting to Chantal. Chantal is a truly awful person... but that doesn't matter now.

I’m SO over winter! I’m in northern MI and it snowed last week- I was so grouchy, but the water is finally moving and the ice is almost gone. The sun is giving me hope!

Hey Everest. I’ve never watched your videos, not even via FFG, and I’m getting all the information about what happened on twitter. But I have a question that’s been on my mind. If you felt that FFG and her followers were sexualising you, then why did you reach out to her and ask her to keep covering you? Why didn’t you respectfully ask her to address the perceived sexual harassment? I’ve not seen any of FFGs reactions to you so I don’t know what was said and if it was said I genuinely want to know why you didn’t address it? Thanks!
I did reach out. I told FFG and Foodie that I have no problems with her covering my content and reacting in the way she does. Many of the sexual references were creepy, as FFG and her fans have repeatedly acknowledged. Just because they were creepy, didn’t mean they offended me. If you’re going to create commentary content, you should maturely react to a response. Instead, I’ve received over a thousand comments and hundreds of DMs. That is the problem. As noted, the content itself was totally acceptable to me- yet, sometimes creepy.

Yesterday I watched a video of a snowboarder getting buried in a tree well, under several feet of snow. If someone else hadn't been with him filming, he wouldn't have been able to dig himself out. He couldn't even move his arms to clear snow from his mouth. Please don't take any unnecessary risks. ✌️&🖖 from 🍁🇨🇦🍁

As much as I love being barefoot in the summer with a peaceful breeze in the trees, there’s just something so tranquil about the snow ❄️ until my Samoyed puppy sees it… then it’s mayhem in the cutest way! He legit looks like a little polar bear 😂
