No, from what he saying they took dna tests for child support. So child support sent him papers saying he was the father. The mother saying she ain't receive results. Which is true, whoever requested the dna test( mainly the males) they are only ones who get the results. The woman only get a letter stating how much child support he has to pay with a copy of the court order. The mother said his family refused to let her see the paperwork. He was told he was the father, most likely from whatever family member who house he had it sent to, because he was in jail, who opened and read the results to him over the phone, or went to visit him in jail and said he was the father. This strange if the mother being truthful and his family refused to let her see the paperwork saying he the father.
So she lied so many times already, she lying she got a letter saying he wasn't the father. His family lied to him, they must have misread the results. Sh*t this is weird or he thought he took a dna test and didn't. Because he received the child support paperwork when he got out of jail so they just resumed her filing years ago. And was requesting him to take a DNA. Someone f*cked up.

How can the mother or he even act surprised when HE SAID she told him ain't NONE OF HER KIDS HIS!?! But heres the other thing, how could or would the state come after him for child support IF another man is on the birth certificate? Make it make sense. In top of it, Lauren didn't delve deep enuf into whatever DNA testing he says he took bcus how would the mother not know about it tossing the blame of awareness on him when 1. She would've had to take the child to a testing center to be mouth swabbed and the state would've notified her by mail of the results. She wouldn't have needed his word. But it still goes back to HOW she didn't know he wasn't the father. And how another man can officially be on the certificate BUT NOT get hit w/child support. How did he get ON it in the first place? When was his name placed there? Stuff just not making any kind of sense whatsoever! That woman now needs to get herself an *Anscestry* DNA kit and find her father herself. This is ridiculous.

As much as I don't like how potential dad's stay out of the child's lives, I can respect him for what he did because he was thinking of her best interest at the time. It might have been the wrong thing to do, for the daughter, but I can understand. I can't get down with the mom thing though
I think he would have made a sorry dad...because apparently it looks like when he got out he was quick to patch things up with mom...but not quick to resolve things with your "child"...he even said when he got out he stayed 6 months (to see the mom, i guess, because he said that the daughter didn't live with "us")...and the daughter claims he never did anything for her...must be nice to be able to use your past as a crutch...even serial killers that had families provided for them...so him doing time and whatever his lifestyle was is no excuse for not taking care of a child you believed was yours
