​@@devonhandy3674 I had the same problem. I found out that my chromecast 4k was in my routers block list. Removing the chromecast from the block list fixed it for me..

I am not able to setup Chromecast. At the final step of the setup it keeps telling me to disable AP isolation on my wifi router which is already disabled. Still Chromecast would not connect. Is there a way out?

Factory reset it & unplugged my wifi for 30 seconds. Didn't work. Literally the only thing that worked is restarting my phone. Hilarious.

A combination of uninstalling and re-installing Google home FIXED IT I HAVE A GENERATION 3RD CHROMECAST. Also restarting my phone. Airplane mode did not work turning on and off. Restarting router did not work. Factory reseting Chromecast did not work
