"she's not a child groomer, she started a friendship with me since I was 12, was super nice to me, and now I'm defending someone that clearly has evidence against them.'
she grew up being groomed and abused on a show called "dance moms", this type of behavior from adults is all she knows...She was made to do sexual dances and wear sexual outfits and told sexual comments on that show since she was literally a prepubescent child, so it saddens me to see the effects it had on her. She legit thinks this type ofadults are nice, she thinks they're her friends....
Jojo has been groomed and exploited by adults her entire life, she's been desensitized to situations like this to the point she thinks that it is normal for adults to engage in such close personal relationships with random children. I feel really sad for her because she can't recognize that she is defending the exact sort of behavior that she is a victim of.
If she were to not defend her there would be a point in her mind where she would come to terms with the inappropriate relationships she grew up with and she’s probably not ready for that
If she came to terms with what Colleen is, then every time she makes a video, she will be reminded that she was inspired by a predator, not exactly a good thing to think about...
Maybe, maybe not. Your logic is based on really good intuition but it could also be false. Just cus she groomed a bunch of kids, doesn’t necessarily mean she groomed every single kid she met or Jojo. Imo, I bet she chose her targets carefully because she was too famous not to. Then again, you are probably right, she probably did a few grooming tactics on Jojo but never actually engaged in anything sexual so that makes Jojo think nothing happened. Then again maybe something did. Who knows, maybe even child predators have a certain type they go for and she just didn’t like Jojo. Gross to think about, I just think weirdos are really unpredictable asf sometimes.
@@The_LIC Jojo been touching herself and drinking stinky-juice on stage. Also, there's allegations that she's been treating young dancers under her instruction in very not-okay ways. Basically, she's continuing the cycle of kids getting mistreated in the entertainment industry.

Just because someone is nice to you, doesn't mean they aren't abusive to someone else. That's usually how abusive people continue to cause harm for so long... because enough people have seen them "being nice" that it is "unbelievable" that they are harmful.
Yeah some people they just can't fathom that someone they look up to and are "so nice" could do something. Anybody can do ANYTHING because you don't know what you don't know about someone.
Especially because this is how almost every narcissist behaves. They're nice to everyone but their victims, and then nobody believes the victims. Being a narcissist's victim as an adult can fuck you up, and as a child it's infinitely worse.
When Jojo was 12, Colleen was almost 30. How the actual fuck is being "besties" with a 12 year old while you're almost THIRTY, good and okay in ANYWAY whatsoever?!
Wouldn't say always an adult being a friend with a kid is a problem because p*dos are NOT FRIENDS or don't even plan to start a "friendship" from the first place. But in their situation it's a big proof againest her because she's already exposed as a p*do

Even if Colleen never acted inappropriately toward Jojo, that doesn't automatically mean she never acted inappropriately to those other kids. It's annoying that she's so adamant that the accusations are lies, based purely on her own personal experience with Colleen.
I have recently seen a video of colleen acting wildly inappropriate towards jojo siwa, she was too young to know what colleen was talking about, really f*cking creepy (including talking about pregnancy, hinting towards sex and also colleen's "porn" bit)
She showed Jojo a video of her giving birth, iirc. So yeah, I'm pretty sure it was inappropriate and she has been through the same type of stuff Colleen has been accused of, without realizing what's wrong. She also is "friends" with James Charles and Shane Dawson.
@@ItsJustValHerethe fact that she showed a 15/16 y/o Jojo a video of her (Colleen) giving birth is a creepy fact that is NOT talked about enough. Bruh, who tf does that???
the whole "they were nice to me" thing reminded me of going to my friends house and her parents being total sweethearts to me. like took us out for dinner and let us watch a movie in the living room, just totally sweet and wholesome parents. at some point I said just about the same thing to her.. She told me about all of the things they did to her and all the times she had to wear jackets during the summer to keep her family out of trouble. How she had to beg her parents to give her her door back so she could have a friend over. I was fucking horrified. It's the same exact thing. People like Colleen know exactly how to put up a front that is so convincing it allows them to go for years or even the rest of their lives with some people.
I totally get this. Some people are so used to the behavior being put on them that they don't recognize it's bad. Then later on, when it's finally brought to their attention that they're being mistreated and likely have always been mistreated, theres a wall they need to break down to really have it click. Sometimes it breaks, sometimes it doesn't, but when it finally gives and reality hits, it hits like a motherfucker. I went through the same thing when I learned my dad was a...bad person towards children and women. Took three years until that wall broke down.
reminds me of my boyfriends mom a lot. when i first met her i thought she was so sweet and gentle but only a couple months into the relationship while i'm at his house i can hear her slapping him in the other room thinking i don't hear it, or telling him he's worthless and disgusting over the phone not knowing she's on speaker. as soon as she knows i'm coming around or walks into the same room as me or my family her attitude does a complete 180. it is so heartbreaking.
To give her a small benefit of the doubt, Jojo was used and groomed by like every adult in her life from a very young age until the present. Her idea of what’s appropriate and normal is definitely going to be fucked up because of that. Saying “we were friends when I was 12” is so close to understanding the point, but she just misses it. However, at some point she’s going to need to re-examine her upbringing and the adults involved in her life in order to see how they affected the way she currently views what is healthy and normal.
Jojo siwa has nothing to do with that drama that's going on with Colleen ballinger. So there is no need to drag Jojo siwa into it. If she wants to be a loyal friend to Colleen, then she can all she pleases
I can never fully agree with statements like this simply bcuz when u hear something all your life or you've experienced it its all your going to know I understand the idea that we all have to grow up and make our own decisions but some of us were just screwed over from the start and it's hard to overcome it I speak from experience ppl would tell me I was a waste of space and worthless and beat me and shit so I started believing they were right and I deserved the beatings and the neglect and whatnot I obviously know it's not true now but it's not always about what u know it's about how u feel and I'm still struggling with it
She is an amazingly perfect example of non sexual grooming. She manipulated Jojo to come to her defense when Colleen needed it most. Like if course she’s not going to be mean to Jojo with her audience. She’s far more useful for her business. I don’t think she ment to only have Jojo as a pawn. But this is what happens when you have friendships with kids, they have undying loyalty.
Very true! This happened to me, only took me until the age of 21 to realise from 11/12. For JoJo she’s been surrounded by corrupt Adults at a very young age so she’s even more desensitised to all of this.
After reading the other comments about Jojo’s own messed up story, it’s sadly not surprising that she would think this is normal if she grew up around people like that.
Am I the only one who thinks that Jojo probably permanently damaged her vocal cords from always screaming? She sounds like a 60 year old retired WWE wrestler
To put it simply, Jojo is pulling the "Well she was nice to me, so I can't imagine her doing anything bad to anyone else" card. I get it's hard when someone is accusing your friend of heinous shit, but I think Jojo needs to take a BIG step back and take a look at her friendship with Colleen.
Also not a defense against grooming allegations since groomers WOULD be nice and friendly to the 12 year old they're grooming. If she was already an adult when she met and formed the relationship, it might be different, but she's automatically got a corrupted opinion when she met an ADULT and befriended an ADULT as a 12 year old child.
@@ryanthompson3737exactly. This is Jojo’s _normal._ she’s had hundreds of adults since she was only 4-5 treating her as an adult & friend. She’s still too young and hasn’t grown enough or matured enough to realize the huge maturity differences even from 16-18. She just quit dressing & acting like a child 2 years ago lol. So her maturity mixed with what she’s lived with literally her entire life is going to make it very hard for her to see this as wrong. Plus she’d have to look at every adult she grew up with and still talks to, which would make this an extremely hard process for her. One no one should expect her to be able to do in the month or so since this Colleen shit happened. So people should just correct her with empathy and realize she’s a victim with a victim mentality and thinking.
She most likely did and she’s a child herself. While even saying Colleen has been her friend for AWHILE. Meaning she most likely has been groomed prior and or even now considering the whole situation with her and her “friend” fans in the past.
Jojo Siwa was a kid on Dance Moms, so it stands to reason she'd grow up with very skewed ideas of what constitutes appropriate behavior towards children.
Dance moms was such a stupid show. I feel bad for jojo siwa because her entire life was just fame and its probably her parents more her mom to blame like she couldnt just live a normal life.
I'm not much older than her, and I remember girls in my class were obsessed with the show. I never understood because all I saw in ads for it was the host lady yelling at pre teen girls. No wonder some of them are a little messed up
To be fair to her, what Shane Dawson and James Charles did is basically her typical experience with most adults in her life This is not defending anybody, I'm just saying child influencers are almost always fucked up somewhere
@@socialistrepublicofvietnam1500 The fact that James still has a platform and audience is still wild to me. Because hes 100% still doing that stuff just got better at hiding it.
All Shane Dawson did was do a few weird skits and make a few out of pocket of jokes back when TH-cam was first a thing that ended up not aging very well which he even went on to APOLOGIZE for that he took accountability for ; now JAMES CHARLES on the other hand he has so much evidence against him and unlike Shane he hasn’t taken a lick of accountability at all
"I was their friend and they were nice to me, so they couldn't have done this" is an idea that needs to be ripped apart and buried. It's no different than what Ashton and Mila did.
Ashton and Mila at least had the presence of mind to realize they shouldn't have done that and apologized. Whether or not you believe their apology was sincere they weren't the only ones who did it, but they get all the flak because they came forward
@@dylanmckamey7370 No, on both counts. They "apologized" because their PR team told them to, and they got more flak because they're the ones who ran a damn anti-human trafficking organization.
Super late to this, but at the 12:23 mark, you can see Siwa's soul leave her body right after she said, "the subject of grooming is a very sensitive thing," as is she accidentally slipped that she just backed everyone who was hurt by Colleen up by saying that.
Someone needs to tell this girl, "Look, you're young. You don't want to believe it. But when these allegations come to light, and you're defending her, fans will NOT be kind to your platform."
It doesn't help that Jojo coming out of the closet already got some parents upset. Defending a terrible creator who allegedly groomed her young fans is just adding fuel to the fire. 🚩 Red flags all around.
@brokkenmeme lmfao really? It's when she slowly said "the internet will take a lie,... and just run with it..." when mind you the source of these 'lies' are the victims who have quite extensive proof. Hence her backtracking.
She continues to be friends with James Charles, who confessed to trying to get minors to send him questionable photos, Shane Dawson, who also has a very bad issue with sexual jokes and minors in the past--etc etc. She is absolutely a victim. But, she also really needs a support group that isn't rooted in using her for their personal gain.
Ok, she’s a victim of what? Being friends with creeper TH-camrs? Let’s not just start saying dumb shit, like she’s a victim of SA or anything like that with literally no evidence or her saying that at all.
@@cbrreezzyy69 the fact she remains friends with them after hard evidence is brought forward, the fact that she is so fucked in the head from being around known and proven pedos for a chunk of her life is obvious, shes a victim of her own fame, back when she first appeared, i saw reddit comments about how they wanted to pull her ponytail while riding her, this was back when jojo was still a kid, pedos love attention seekers like her, and as a result she has grown up to assume its normal

has anyone considered that jojo intentionally phrased it the way she did because 1: this is her childhood inspiration to start her youtube channel, which led to her present day success. this is a tough situation for her. 2: her saying it’s lies is because that’s what she’s been always told. she’s still processing this information and is very likely one of the people who were groomed. 3: she’s grieving the loss of a close friend. jojo is now 20, so they’ve been in contact for 8 years. currently she is in the stage of denial, which is healthy. 4: she has constant pressure from the media during a very stressful time of her life. 5: listening to her talk about how they met, she sounded like she might even blame herself. obviously jojo isn’t at fault in any way here, but she might have survivors guilt on top of all of this. regardless, she is in serious need of a good therapist.

Theres such a gross misunderstanding that people have with word cancel. Being held accountable for your inappropriate behavior isnt “being canceled”, its just the consequences of your actions 💀
Criminal allegations are not cancel culture. Cancel Culture is like what happened to that "citi bike Karen" where even worst case accusation she didn't commit a crime, and people called her work to get her fired for a petty thing or difference of opinion or perceived unsubstantiated istaphobia.
literally 😭😭 people think we’re trying to “cancel” everybody like no…? why is it so hard for people to hold themselves accountable and admit they fucked up. like i genuinely would have respect for a lot more people if only they took responsibilities for their actions
fr like they "cancelled" Aunt Jemima syrup and the Washington redskins - but a groomer being called out as a groomer is not getting "cancelled"; they just want to feel like professional victims instead of being accountable or even sorry for their actions
I think the idea of “cancelling” should play out like this; after the initial accusations of whatever it is (racism, grooming, etc), we wait for the response and how they handle it. If it’s handled appropriately, then maybe we give them a chance. But if they handle it poorly or repeat the offense, THEN the support should stop
@charbladex I wouldn't even call that canceling because there is an ACTUAL attached negative history. It's like naming a team the Epstein Islanders... at the end of the day it's just a name, but there's a negative history that spits right in the face of the victims, especially as they make billions in revenue while the victims still struggle. For example, the redskins are bad, but the Clevland Indians have a more complicated history because they hired the first native American. Of course the issue is whether it was meant to honor or mock that player... if it was to honor, it would not have been changed.
You can 100% tell that she has no point other than “well she didn’t groom ME..” the way she just rambles on trying to sound smart but stating no actual facts shows me that she knows she dug herself into a hole trying to defend this predator
Howie did a really good job with his questions, you can tell that even if you bring out actual messages to her, she would still be in denial about what Colleen did. Just because a person was nice to you, doesn't mean they can't be a monster to someone else.
she really should go to theraoy but if she believes she has no issues of the sort I doubt she actually would but there has to be a lot to unpack regarding her whole life, including being a youtube creator at a way too young age and being used for money through that
People who are groomed don’t realize they’re being groomed. You see it here in the totally detached statement of “I knew her since I was 12…”. That degree of manipulation is why cults of personality are so effective.

@@ciaociara I think the “being proud” as @Raven stated was more about the sheer success, money and fame that she generated from her “Miranda” character, not so much the actual character itself. But I completely agree with you. I never liked her “character” I always found it strange.
It’s always important to remember that just because someone you “know very well” did nothing wrong to you doesn’t mean that person hasn’t done something wrong to someone else. When in a situation like Jojo found herself in during this conversation, I get you don’t want to say something to support allegations against someone you love. I love this of Howe because it seems like she wants to defend a friend out of emotion, but Howe wasn't trying to tear her down like most people do in disagreements. He was trying to get her to see the logical dilemma she's in.
“she can’t be a groomer I’ve been friends with her since I was 12” is like saying “my friend couldn’t have murdered that man he was at the supermarket buying a kitchen knife that day”
I mean, it's technically still cancelling, but there's a major difference between cancelling somebody because they told a sexist joke as a kid, and cancelling somebody because they're a fucking pedo.
Yup. Not like Colleen said a racial slurs 10 years ago in a private chat with an adult friend she legit sexually groomed and molested children that's fucking death worthy to me
The classic “No, she wasn’t weird. I was just special.”. She’s not a kid or teenager anymore. She’s a young adult. For her to not see the problem with an adult being “friends” with a 12 year old is alarming. I hope the cycle doesn’t repeat here.
she was on the group chats with minors while being a minor herself. She saw it, she just has no idea that what she saw and read was grooming because she was groomed herself, by her mother and those she associated with, to think it normal
6:35 it was never actually okay, it was just shrugged off for long enough that people didn’t even second guess it. it’s not so much that it was celebrated or considered comedy, it’s just that everyone turned a blind eye for so long that it was considered the norm. it never should’ve been, but it was
It's almost fascinating to watch her defend Colleen. You can clearly tell that Jojo was groomed her entire life and doesn't realize or understand that fact. She's a victim herself who was born and bred in an environment that constantly preps her to be someone else. It's been normalized because that's all she's ever experienced/seen from the adults within her circle. I think she needs therapy, or at least an awakening, because at the rate she's going, she will eventually turn out to be another Colleen and continue the cycle.
It might not even necessarily been that she was groomed like Colleen’s other victims. I think brainwashed might be a better way to put it, she might not have had anything done to her specifically but clearly something went wrong since she thinks most of this is normal.
When someone is guilty of something, the best way to run defense for them is to create a narrative that victimizes the person in question: "She's a celebrity" "her fans are obsessive" "she has a 'special' relationship with her fans" Blah blah blah - none of which explains why an adult was sexualizing children. This lady is an enabler.
I mean... a defense about a predator from a person who's parents let them pose half naked on the internet at a young age isn't really much of a defense at all.
@@handzrush8093 what does her age today have to do with how she was groomed when she was 12, that messes you up in a way that doesn't go away the day you turn 18 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yea, just another celebrity trying to mitigate and dispel any sort of controversy surrounding them and the people around them. Genuinely disgusting stuff, especially considering she is a literal child star, and appeals to children.
Jojo herself has been a huge widely outspoken supporter of anything sexualizing kids, she uses her platform to push her personal LGBT onto as many impressionable elementary school kids as possible. It's disgusting how focused she is on pushing kids sex organs and sexual attraction.
Yeah, pretty much sounds like she thinks a lot of this stuff is normal and appropriate....if I knew her and saw this interview I would not be bringing my kids around her anymore
Theres no way anyone can defend colleen's "apology" especially someone like jojo siwa. People who've been friends with creeps need to stop defending said creeps, no matter how long they've known them

It shows Colleen was relaly good at manipulating nd groooming etc.. shes equally a victim.. her ‘ defending Colleen should be seen how manipulative she was.. and wearing different masks.. you’re attacking the wrong people.
I think the early harassment of JoJo directly contributed to where she is now, not only was she surrounded by groomers to the point she thinks it's normal, but so many people were mocking her for the harmless things she did like wearing colorful clothing and being loud that in the end it likely further alienated her from healthy adults and chased her further into the waiting arms of said groomers, they see situations like these as opportunities and lurk around for a chance to pounce
To be honest, I defended my dad for several months after he was accused and arrested for SAing my step siblings. He alienated me from them and manipulated me into believing him until he was in prison and I started talking to my siblings again. There's a lot of denial that goes into something like that, I just hope she comes around and people can be somewhat compassionate if that time ever comes, because she has been groomed and manipulated in a way. This is still hard to watch because wtf girl??
That's awful, I hope you have a better relationship with your siblings now. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to come to terms with someone you trusted so much doing something so heinous.
@DJ-dc7pr funny enough, just a few months before he got outed, his brother did too, and his brother tried to hire someone to unalive his victim before he went to trial. Totally innocent behavior, lmao. Once my dad was facing time, he became super religious again, but he was telling me he would run my step sister over with a car if he saw her walking down the street at the same time. again, totally innocent behavior, lol. My dad threatened to unalive my oldest stepbrother if he said anything, to the point he wouldn't give any statements until my dad was put in county. Hundreds of pages of victim statements later, my dad gets a measley 8.5 years. The man reeked of guilt from day 1, I feel so foolish for not realizing it sooner. I've talked to my siblings and heard their stories since then, too, and my "father" doesn't even deserve to be breathing still if you ask me. 🤷♀️
No i feel you, my first love, was accused of sa’ing a girl. I defended him with my LIFE. And now a couple years later, I feel absolutely horrible and disgusted at the fact that I was really so deeply infatuated with this person that I just couldn’t believe the girl ( who was also his STEP SISTER :( btw ) who was coming to me saying these things. I’ve now came back and apologized deeply but I cannot take back the guilt I feel. I trusted this man with everything and I saw him as this perfect angel. Now I know he was actually a demon, a cruel women hating demon. People you think you know, you don’t really know.
She's just in denial because she thought she knew her better than most. I had a good impression of my dads friend as a child. He got me into pc gaming as a child in the 90s. He seemed like a real nice guy. About 10 years ago, I read in the paper that he was arrested for having child pornography. So many disgusting people out there are good at wearing pleasant masks.
She sent her underwear to a kid and wrote a whole song that she played on the ukelele to not apologize nor attempt to justify her actions. All she said was that everyone was wrong for attacking her online due to "gossip" that she herself confirmed. This feels like a pretty open and shut case
The funniest part to me was when she calls herself a loser multiple times to garner sympathy and relieve accountability. People in the influencer industry are so blind to their own power of engagement and attention they can hold above their fans heads. Too many cases of this shit happening now
oh dont just list that. it gets worse. she sent minors inappropriate texts and content. she tried to get at least one of her minor "employees" (a fan she was manipulating) alone and ditched him when his parents were present.
Some of the sweetest ppl are monsters behind closed doors, I think that’s why a lot of ppl, but I’ll speak for myself, get a weird feeling from overly nice ppl. It almost feels like they watched wat a nice person acts like and imitates it
@crownedking_cj8890 or they have anxiety and aren't sure how to express themselves. There are people who are nice to try to manipulate you or there are people who are nice cause they want to be. And then there are a few people are genuinely nice. It's tricky to tell who is who I guess.
lol just because you're on tv doesn't mean you don't understand morals wtf The reality is predators are good to most people. It's why it's hard to report them they aren't scary antisocial homeless men in the bushes waiting to attack 24/7
This isn’t the first time Jojo has behaved like this. After she finished on Dance Moms, she responded to a video about one of the coaches treating students badly saying that the coach was so lovely and didn’t deserve to be talked badly about, just because she had a good experience with her on the show. She was still a child at the time so I personally thought it was immaturity but now I really think she needs to learn that her experiences with people are not universal.
Interesting. Was this on Dance Moms itself? Or on another show, talking about Dance Moms? Time to go a-hunting for this interview... any chance to shit on Jojo's point is time well spent. 😃
@@6thwilbury2331 I am pretty sure it was Tik Tok, tho I could be wrong. Christi was in a zoom meeting with fans I believe, and someone took a recording of her talking about talking about how Gia was not nice after someone had asked something related to Gia and if they were in contact (Christi shook her head and said that Gia was not a nice person and was just like Abby), and Jojo responded saying that Gia was the nicest person ever, only showed her kindness, she would never do that, and said that it was the most "ignorant" and "disgusting" thing she had ever heard. She also said that Christi wasn't nice and Christi said smth hurtful to her during the show and she never got mad and said rude things about her. Christi responded really rationally after that imo, she said that it was great if Jojo had that experience, but this was still her/Chloe's experience regardless of Jojo's. It was weird to me that Jojo was commenting on this like she was, when iirc, she never filmed a season with Chloe, or if they did film anything together, it was super brief, so how would she know their experience when she wasn't around for it? Secondly, she is one of the only Dance Mom children to stay in contact with Abby, so if what Christi says is true that Gia is like Abby, obviously it wouldn't bother Jojo... lastly I find it odd that she's mad that Christi is going on the internet saying it, but she was having a private conversation with ppl that got leaked... not to say she wouldn't say it publicly tbh, but still. ANYWAY sorry for the wall of text, you can search the drama up on YT pretty easily since it was a big deal at the time if you do wanna see it.
What's weird is that Jojo had the WORST treatment from Abby when she was on the show (besides Chloe, Paige, Brooke, Maddie, Nia etc). There are actual compilations of Abby yelling at Jojo to the point where she started crying.
As a former prosecutor, this is what grooming looks like. It doesn’t have to be sexual in nature, and Colleen has clearly groomed Jojo. Also, it doesn’t excuse Jojo’s statements, but it does show how powerful grooming can be. You can see the internal struggle when Jojo is speaking, like she’s starting to realize that there is no rational way to defend Colleen … but, then, she still reverts to her original position that Colleen is being unjustly persecuted. There’s also a sense of her worshipping Colleen.
I was groomed, and am very keen on knowing what that looks like now after therapy. She has definitely been groomed, and honestly, I don't think Colleen was the first one or only one to do that to her.
I find myself having a hard time putting any value to Jojo's words and opinions about the situation, because I seriously doubt she's learned what a healthy relationship between an adult and a child looks like growing up..
Damn. This comment hit hard because I didn't know Dance Moms before I heard about Jojo Siwa. So when I finally looked up what she got famous for, I was shocked to see that stuff labeled as entertainment.
Hmm to me it was more like she knew she was lying about it so she was trying to find a way to justify that she liked her and that she no doubt made money from her. It's the classic case of denial while side stepping the truth. There's no legal repercussions but she is trying to be slightly careful in a way because she knows it can effect her own fans perception of her.
She's attempting damage control essentially. She's speaking out saying the proven accusations are not true because HER experience with Colleen was different and if she was a child predator why wouldn't she target her? Well the answer to that is like Charlie said her popularity was dangerous so she didn't target Jojo for sexual discussions. Jojo knows if she called the victims liars she could get into alot of trouble legally so she's trying to say it without directly stating it is an absolute falsehood. This why she can claim it was denial of the truth rather than her meaning any harm.
@sashathebee she did but she didn't. She said that the internet takes lies and runs with them, but she never outright says that the people who came out against her were lying. And when asked what she thought of the accusations she locked up because she couldn't say they were lies without putting herself in some serious legal problems.
It kinda sucks that things like this become “Drama” instead of an investigation or something. She committed a crime, and yeah, her career is taking a toll, she’s still getting away with her actions in a way.
I'm not sure how the police haven't arrested her for sending Trishas nudes to a minor. That's a serious offense with documented evidence. Do they not care? Is this another Lost Prophets situation?
When I was 11 I became friends with a 4 yr old because I had no other friends, but once I turned 18 (they were 11) I stopped talking to them because I knew that I'd be considered creepy if I continued talking to them. I'm now 22 and they're 15, they've tried to reach out to me but I don't want to until reach out until they're 18.
I'm a teacher Aid and I deal a lot with kids who are 10-12 (I'm 19) and I cringe whenever they say I'm their friend. Don't get me wrong I love them and I will always help them no matter what. But there has to be boundaries when dealing with actual children. They can see you as someone to trust and someone that they can be safe with but not as a friend. The fact that JoJo can't see how Colleen acted with her is not acceptable at all just shows how much damage Colleen did to those children
I think maybe Jojo never had those boundaries as a child herself, being on tv, so it’s normalized. There are so many clips of Colleen and her sister, Rachel, speaking inappropriately to Jojo in a podcast setting. Jojo is called a child by Rachel and she gets offended- so she sees herself as more mature than she really is, imo. She’s a legal adult now defending predators like Colleen, James Charles, Shane… not a good start.
Kids make friends quickly, and can call you their friend even when you are an adult. The key to remember is that a friendship with a child is not anywhere close to the same as a friendship with a fellow adult. Some people might not even call it a friendship at all because it is so different.
Tbh. In my opinion, a 19 year old can absolutely be friends with a 12 year old as long as it’s ONLY friendship and you don’t put harmful information on them. I myself am 20 years old and my sister is 14. Which is a huge gap, but we’re basically the same and treat our relationship like we are friends. It works out perfectly for me and my sis because she is very mature and i’m more immature for my age. It might be different if you’re siblings, but i still think that people who are 19 or 20 can be friends with people who are 12 or 14. Then again it is all personal preference.
You know when Trisha is the most mature and sensitive person in a situation, everyone else is doing something wrong. (I can't take credit for this joke- Boze vs World) She wasn't Trisha, she was Patricia.
@@VincisomethingNo, Coleen was making fun of her behind her back and she didn't know until Trisha got leaks about Coleen inviting her for dinner with her friends just so when she left they could make fun of her between them. she grew up being groomed and abused on a show called "dance moms", this type of behavior from adults is all she knows...She was made to do sexual dances and wear sexual outfits and told sexual comments on that show since she was literally a prepubescent child, so it saddens me to see the effects it had on her. She's brainwashed.
She's not a groomer, she's just a loser.

She's lucky that she's not Colleen's type.
It's the same exact thing. People like Colleen know exactly how to put up a front that is so convincing it allows them to go for years or even the rest of their lives with some people.
Cap
I totally get this. Some people are so used to the behavior being put on them that they don't recognize it's bad. Then later on, when it's finally brought to their attention that they're being mistreated and likely have always been mistreated, theres a wall they need to break down to really have it click. Sometimes it breaks, sometimes it doesn't, but when it finally gives and reality hits, it hits like a motherfucker. I went through the same thing when I learned my dad was a...bad person towards children and women. Took three years until that wall broke down.
Abusers really care about the image they present outside of the people they abuse and it's sickening.

Fr lmao. "I've known her since I was a kid and she's been a great friend to me. I see no faults with anything she has done"
Who is groomer tho?
It's a really stupid defence when people here about something and go "that can't be true because I can think of an exception"
She most likely did and she’s a child herself. While even saying Colleen has been her friend for AWHILE. Meaning she most likely has been groomed prior and or even now considering the whole situation with her and her “friend” fans in the past.
I think JOJO needs to be carefull with who shes friends with after all this coming out.
Jojo Siwa was a kid on Dance Moms, so it stands to reason she'd grow up with very skewed ideas of what constitutes appropriate behavior towards children.

@brokkenmeme lmfao really? It's when she slowly said "the internet will take a lie,... and just run with it..." when mind you the source of these 'lies' are the victims who have quite extensive proof. Hence her backtracking.
Yea. Adam had made a video about that quote. =(
She continues to be friends with James Charles, who confessed to trying to get minors to send him questionable photos, Shane Dawson, who also has a very bad issue with sexual jokes and minors in the past--etc etc. She is absolutely a victim. has anyone considered that jojo intentionally phrased it the way she did because
1: this is her childhood inspiration to start her youtube channel, which led to her present day success. this is a tough situation for her.

To be honest, I defended my dad for several months after he was accused and arrested for SAing my step siblings. There's a lot of denial that goes into something like that, I just hope she comes around and people can be somewhat compassionate if that time ever comes, because she has been groomed and manipulated in a way. This is still hard to watch because wtf girl??

How do you know he’s not innocent?N

Yeah... She got her start on Dance Moms, so it's easy to see how she was taken advantage of by adults from a young age

You can tell that she was trying so hard but didn't want to say directly that the accusations were a lie in case they were right.
…But she did say that?
Huh? She did say it was a lie and then got too scared realizing she’d have to emphasize how it was a lie

The fact that JoJo can't see how Colleen acted with her is not acceptable at all just shows how much damage Colleen did to those children
i am FRIENDLY to every child that life forces me to interact with. i am FRIENDS with none of them.
