I used to work in a prison, and just about every convicted felon that has some kind of charge to do with a minor will victimize themselves and downplay the trauma they put these poor kids through. She’s no different, and that ukulele made me sick.

To be fair, even if you’re innocent you could possibly hurt your case by speaking. It’s why if you do it, you should write it down and get it approved by your lawyers first to avoid any issues. Heck, even guilty (to varying degrees) people pre-write things for the same reason. A way to address it without affecting your legal dispute.
