I'm all about it. IAG's interpretation on the right hand turn oil starvation issue creates competition against other known companies. Consumers will benefit from this at the end.
I got one of the early deliveries of the BRZ. I don’t have a track close but do have twisty roads. I’ve already done pads, camber bolts, exhaust & lowering springs. As an older enthusiast I’m thrilled with this car. Any moment you can drive it as a sports car it’s fun! I hope you guys try some NA options for more power before adding any boost.
Can’t wait for more content. I have a gen 1 BRZ , 2013, that I’m currently revamping that was modified when I got it. Hoping you’ll be coming out with an AOS soon for all gens BRZ as well as more performance upgrades!!!
Hurry up and blow it up so you can develop the FA24D short block ;) Kidding, really excited to see the build come together. Those are RE71RS's aren't they? Did you pinch 245s? Is there a build list somewhere? Current GR86 owner, have my own track build in progress that's coming together nicely so far I think.
"Parts you may or may not be developing"? 🤣I have a 22 GR. I'm really looking froward to a possible starvation remedy to help. I've already reached out a few months back about a possible built engine option. Maybe?? Love it, keep it coming.
I have a question that I would really like answered. How do I go about joining a company such as yours or similar towards yours, I don’t have much experience but I want to do the work you are doing and learn how to do it.
I've been looking at the BRZ a lot, but the oil starvation issue really concerns me. I want a reliable sports car. If IAG can fix that issue and hopefully give us other power mods to make it a bit fast, I'll buy one and IAG parts in a heartbeat.
my personal opinion is that it's not an issue. The oil never drops to 0. Even 20PSI still equals oil pressure, and that is only a blip. I think you will always get blown engines, regardless of platforms, due to quality control and manufacturing tolerances. There is even a video with a GR Corolla (or was it Yaris) blowing up, a new platform. And you can just google search other platforms engines, and see blowing up is pretty normal for a small % of operators (for new cars) - then as the life of that car increases (add more years) the likehood of blowing up increases as a function of time and maintenance and various other variables (you can prob even write a formula based on this lol, add in a random element factor etc). How many GR86/BRZ have blown up? Sure, a few, but it's definitely not some epidemic. It's all within the margins of what you would expect. If this really was a MAJOR manufacturing or engineering flaw, I think the % blowing up would be way higher, but it isn't, and these are legit being tracked hard (way harder than most car models out there). We even have a full race comp (GR86 Cup) with them. If it was as bad as arm chair mechanic alarmists on the internet say, you would be seeing cars blowing up left right and centre, which we simply are not seeing. That is just my take tho, happy to be corrected by IAG, so we will see what they say on this.
Are you guys going to build an oil baffle pan for these cars still? I had messaged you guys on Insta regarding this & was told that it’s in the works (well over a year ago now).

Definitely interested in more BRZ content!
Love it! Can’t wait to see more BRZ development, parts, and content!
OMG! IAG got a hold of an FA24 and my dreams are coming true. Subscribed and excited about content and products for this platform.
Awesome, thanks for the support 🤙
keep em coming!! I love geeking out at stuff like this!
Would love to see a proper NA engine build at some point!
Looking forward to the series!

What is the best upgrade for the buck u did?
@ Exhaust AWE touring with fake engine delete. Lowering help steering feel especially on better tires. Brake pads & camber bolts just add confidence
I am excited about this!! Just got a 24 gr86 and I want to turbo it but I’m nervous about oil starvation.
We will talk more about oil related issues in upcoming videos
@@theiagchannel thanks I’m in MD so when you come up with a solution let me know please 🙏
Extatic to see what you will offer for my 2023 brz as well! Love the aftermarket support coming in the future
It's such a fun platform, we are excited to help make it better 💪

Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely let the team know about interest for more BRZ parts -Foster
FA24 built engine when ? :)
Looking forward to the series.
Yes, keep it coming!
Next do coil overs and a big brake kit. Then play around with sway bars. I'd be very interested to see how you dial out understeer.
I would love to buy a combo of higher capacity oil pan with baffle and headers that give nost clearance (probably UEL).
Can't wait for the new episode for this build series....when are you guys announcing a new oil pan /oil solution ??
We will be addressing some of the oiling issues with this platform 3 episodes from now. Stay tuned!
@@theiagchannel omg omg it's happening , everyone stay calm 🤩🤩
Super keen to see what you guys come up with, given how robust your solutions for the EJ motors are
Build series needs to happen and more parts for the brz/86 platform
Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

Release parts already so I can buy them. IAG doing BRZ things makes me happy and my wallet cry

If it was possible to make a BRZ fast someone would have done it by now.
