I did an overnight hike to South Cape Bay from Cockle Creek back in August. I had the whole beach to myself from about 1pm in the afternoon after all the day hikers left. See that gold coloured big rock in the water further down the beach (about 1km)? That's Lion Rock (cause it looks like a Lion with the golden plants on it) directly across from it are campaign spots. Was absolutely awesome to sit there and watch the ocean, then the stars and aurora - all on my own ;)
Your campsite there next to the beach, was all under about a foot of water when I went there (twice, also did a day trip to investigate Cockle Bay two weeks prior to the overnighter). They get a LOT of rain down that way!
Oh wow! We saw lion rock but that would have been amazing to camp there!
I can’t believe that whole area was under water, that is crazy!
ahhh such fond memories. Jeeze the kids have grown since then. great episode.
When I was watching back through the footage I thought the same, the kids seem so little!
Super adventure, exciting video, nice to watch it 👍👍Greetings from Poland!
Oh wow, thank you for watching all the way from Poland!
Awesome!
Loved the little tumble from Owen (@SvedosTrippin) at the bottom of Australia😂.
Poor Owen!
