Whats the GVM getting upgraded from/to ??

I've had a lovells gvm upgrade in my 76 for 5 years with no issues. I went with their heaviest load rated springs front and rear. I've towed a lot including the Tanami, Gibb and Fraser - ride is way better than stock suspension. Tjm Toowoomba fitted mine and i found them good to deal with at that time. A downside of ssm suspension upgrades is that no matter what brand suspension or combination you get engineered, you become restricted to that same brand and same spec parts if you ever need to replace anything in the future.

Simple question - is your vehicle losded with you, onboard gear and van ball weight at or below GVM? if you are over GVM, legal and insurance issues abound.

Shop around, bigger the brand name = the bigger price!!!

Have you thought about Fullcum Slacks Creek, we highly recommend did ours for us and our new LC300. Speak with Anthony, tell Gary Neumann sent you.

Get all the work done by someone like ARB where you are & then the next time you are in Qld get the local ARB guys to certify the the GVM upgrade.

Lovells are fantastic. When I got my GVM upgrade before the 6x4, I rang them and they gave me their supplier in Newcastle. They were so helpful. Good luck guys.

Probably too late, but why not change front shocks in Vic & do GCM when you get home, only couple of hundred $, spend that on diesel
