Squirrels are so underrated. They are absolutely adorable! When they hide their nuts in the wild, they very often forget where they hid them and then the nuts grow into trees. They literally plant trees for the planet!

The person who lives across the road from me collects stray dogs , barely feeds them and for almost 12 years I've had to try to deal with all the dogs that no one spends time with. Plus the fact they are starving unless I feed them. Finally I got some help and something is going to get done and be resolved so I'm happy for all the dogs but I'll miss the one rolly polly one I call fat belly boy , these puppies are so cute, they know who loves them, I think animals are mind readers. 😊

Though there can be reasons they react negatively that don't always mean the person is "bad", they have good instincts and it's something to keep in mind if there isn't an obvious reason for their negative reaction. I hope that makes sense.

i just had a squirrel that we rescued from when the hurricanes hit north and south carolina! he recently passed away but he was the sweetest thing i’ve ever met and he’ll always be in my heart.

When my dad was a kid in the 50's he had a few pet squirrels but his favorite one was named squeaky and she lived in his sock drawer and my dad would take her everywhere in his pockets but squeaky's favorite place to go was the drive in movies cause she loved the popcorn lol. My favorite picture is of her in a little dress my grandma sewed for her and she even held the hem of the dress like a little lady its so cute♥🐿. I have to show this video to my dad he will love this.

That's what i was thinking. The video is especially moving to me right now because a squirrel died in a big flowerpot on my balcony a week ago today, possibly of rat poison the man across the street puts in his yard. I was upset and the woman downstairs thought i was ridiculous. She doesn't like squirrels. She said "Why would I care about a creature unless I have a relationship with it, like a cat or dog?" Human indifference to nonhumans troubles me. I think such attitudes tie into many other problems. This man caring for darling Aka reminds me of what matters about being human. You did such an amazing job with building his habitat enclosure for play and sleeping, great carpentry skills. All of the music in the video was lovely too. When my dad was a kid in the 50's he had a few pet squirrels but his favorite one was named squeaky and she lived in his sock drawer and my dad would take her everywhere in his pockets but squeaky's favorite place to go was the drive in movies cause she loved the popcorn lol. My favorite picture is of her in a little dress my grandma sewed for her and she even held the hem of the dress like a little lady its so cute♥🐿. I have to show this video to my dad he will love this.

That's what i was thinking. The video is especially moving to me right now because a squirrel died in a big flowerpot on my balcony a week ago today, possibly of rat poison the man across the street puts in his yard. I was upset and the woman downstairs thought i was ridiculous. She doesn't like squirrels. She said "Why would I care about a creature unless I have a relationship with it, like a cat or dog?" Human indifference to nonhumans troubles me. I think such attitudes tie into many other problems. This man caring for darling Aka reminds me of what matters about being human. May you live long and prosper, Sir. Aka too. ;-)
