  • Converting the TSA amplifiers main Fuse (GMQ 1 AMP Slow-Blo) with a chassis mount cartridge style fuse. Easy fix with long term value. The cartridge style fuses can be purchased at any local hardware or auto parts stores so why not swap it out? The GMQ are only offered through a few places online and are pricy. The fuse block I purchased along with the 1 amp slo-blo fuse cost a total of about $3 vs about $8-10 online.
I purchased the fuse block from Digikey but they can be found all over the internet.

Enjoying the videos thanks for posting.
In the future you can break the glass out of the GMQ fuse leaving the cap and the locking ring in place, then a standard 1-1/4” fuse will work.
I have a USC2 also, had it for about 30 years. Great juke box .

Hey James! Huh, I didn't think of that! I left the cap and lock ring in it so it would lock in. You're right, I bet that a fuse would fit in there wouldn't. I'll mention that in my final video on this. Thank you for watching!
