great work, well done, they can be shits of things to work out all their problems, my first box was the band shell, very similar to this one, wish we had kept it, loved that one, sent me into a real buying spree of seeburgs, back then broken ones were cheap, it was the transport that was a head ache cause most didn,t want to handle with all that glass

It is better to clean contacts with deoxit or wd40 contact cleaner sprayed onto a lint FREE cloth & rub the black oxidation off
    Instead of a abrasive pad.

you are 100% CORRECT. A pencil eraser and windex would be better! I didn't figure this out until months later. Ill see if I can edit this. I thought I already added the edit.

You just pull the pricing card from the black box. THE JUKE MUST BE TURNED COMPLETELY OFF WHEN YOU DO THIS.

I really enjoyed your video and all the helpful information! I’m working on a 1976 Seeburg and am having the same type of problem you were encountering with the mechanism continuing to scan after a selection is played. Mine will scan 8-10 times before parking itself. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated appreciated. Thanks, Justin

Hello, Is yours an SMC or something along those lines? They work differently than this one does.

I love your videos. I just purchased a Firestar and its a little rougher than yours, but salvageable. I will be following your video through the whole restoration process. This will be my second jukebox restoration. The first one was a Rockola 453 and it came out real nice. Where did you get the service manual from?

I bought it on eBay and it was a CD that had tons of PDF files. While this has helped me out a few times... Most of the jukes I need manuals for is not covered or included in the 800 files that came with it but this one was. If you want to keep your FireStar, I suggest just spending 40-50$ and just having a hard copy of the manual. It makes everything so much easier.
