You know, my dad made several mini shovels, rakes, etc. for me when I was a tiny person. This explains why my first word was 'dirt', and why I continue to love gardening and squishing mud between my toes.
I laughed so hard when I heard this little munchkin say that! So much fun. She is just adorable and will be an awesome big sister to her next sibling. Love you kids!
This episode was pure Hollar joy from Buggy size rake, to Meg's giggles, and Ben reminiscing, the whole thing had that "I just stopped by the neighbors to catch up feeling", perfect. Thank you for the sunshine my soul needed today.
Hi, Ben and Meg! You made my day. It was so awesome meeting you at your Azure Standard pick up! I am stoked. Thanks for taking time to talk to me and my sisters.
That little girl is always ALL IN for what ever y'all are doing...and she sings while she works. Such a blessing. She carries heavenly-inspired music in her soul.
I love when your daughter said daddy can you make this buggy size she is she is Adorable I love her and I can not belive how big your boys are and Meg do you know what you are have
Ben &Meg..I’ve been a fan way before you landed in NC (As an NC native love u picked my beloved state❤)..I just want to say you define what the American dream is. A safe place to be yourselves and raise your family and live life with your values in peace and freedom. You don’t sweat over the “crap” like so many of us get caught up in. Like gotta have the perfect piece of land, or the perfect house, or perfect animals or perfect job etc…You guys are living a life worth living and what happens in life as you go along you deal with and move on. No dead lines to “keeping up with the jones” mentality. And all the while you are living a life most of us dream of having…a partner that loves you unconditionally, plenty of nutritional delicious food to eat, a warm clean place to lay your head at night, a beautiful family with so so much love. You guys are truly blessed beyond measure! Don’t change one thing about your direction in life! Blessings and much love from your biggest Western NC fan❤🙏🏻
Meg, hollyhocks would look lovely against the fence in your herb garden. They reseed and are not invasive. Some of the heirloom varieties are stunning. Butterflies and bees love them. Take care!
I love this beautiful family 😊 I have been watching them since California. How in the world could you not think Meg is adorable and sweet and such a hard worker I really think she runs the family so smoothly I have never seen her stressed out. The rest of the family beautiful also 😊 Sending hugs from CT
I also began watching this sweet family when they were in California! Then I “followed” them all over the country until they found the lovely land where they now live! Since that time, their darling daughter came along…and, SOON, there will be another precious little Hollar!
💕💗💕🙏🙏🙏 Love Buggies, “can you make it Buggy size?,” rakes a little, then off singing. Our herbs are all over our flower beds and garden. Yours will be so nice and handy contained in one spot near your home. May The Lord Jesus bless your family with good health and a bountiful harvest.🌱🌱🌱
When I watch your videos, just feel like I've been visiting younger friends (that I've never met and likely never will!) , learning and laughing along the way. Have said it before, but your down-to-earth, no hype, easy-going, no gimmicks or 'emotional' stuff are just lovely to follow. During one of the build videos, I was reminded of the herb garden established at the end of the home and thought, "Bet that got put on the back-burner" for a bit, then today it was a nice surprise to see you tackling it again! Lilliana (aka Buggie) just adds natural and unscripted joy whenever she pops into a video. Praying this evening for your family and that new baby yet to make his or her appearance! Oh....the pineapple chicken looked yuuuummmy..and we've made "deconstructed" kabobs for years as well after realizing some things either got overcooked or undercooked if mixed and took forever to prep it seemed, only to take it OFF of the skewer to eat!
It is so exciting with so many things going on! Baby watch, addition build, new herb garden, spring piglets, etc, etc. Don't push yourselves too hard. Enjoy the journey!
I'm a grandma and it just tickles me to see Miss Buggy with her little ponytails and barefeet. And when she asked about making the rake her size it was just so adorable. Many blessings to y'all and good luck on the build.
The thing I love most about your videos is that it is as if you invite us as a friend to come wnjoy your journey. Thanks for allowing us to visit. It is always a precious and encouraging time with you all.❤
Hi Meg and Ben I wait to see your new baby how exciting your another baby there beautiful 😊 new ❤️ it's new born how exciting I'm so happy for you.Meg.😊
I can't tell you how much I look forward to your videos!! I always watch it 3 or 4 times. Wish they could be longer and more often! Today was extra special as I've been very sick in the hospital. Found out I have Addison's Disease, which means my adrenal glands no longer produce the cortisol in my system and I'm on special meds now to put cortisol back into my body. It caused my potassium to be dangerously high and I'm at risk of heart attack. So from having a week's stay in the hospital, I can't express how much I enjoy seeing my favorite family's podcast today!❤ Please keep them coming as they lift this 70 yr old lady's spirits more than you will ever know! I've been with you since the CA days, so you guys feel like family to me.🥰 Much love from Terri over the mountain into northeast Tennessee!!!
@@cindykaye3152 Thank you Cindy Kaye!❤ I appreciate all the prayers more you'll ever know. When I got the ER the other night, they told my my potassium was so high (6.8) I was in the "widow maker territory" for a heart attack. My potassium just continues to elevate which is worrisome, but my doctor is keeping good checks on my levels. No more potatoes, bananas, and orange juice for me anymore as they are high potassium...and I loved them! Thank you again for your sweet note and prayers!🥰
I am so happy to hear Meg ask for help! One beautiful thing about when you get that deck done will be the planters of thyme, oregano, summer savory, and other herbs that Meg can just step out on the deck and harvest.
Great vlog. A buggy sized rake. And dad does just that. Such joys to have documented. Life is easier if you just accept the happenings instead of getting all worked up about them .💕💕🌻🌻
I cannot count the number of times I have planned a meal only to find key ingredients had been snacked on before I could actually cook the meal. The herb garden is going to be lovely. If you decide to try to replace that pan, I think you will be sadly shocked. There were many things we left in California when we moved to North Carolina because we thought they could easily be replaced rather than move them. What we discovered was that the item was no longer available, was not as good, didn't have the same features or (more likely) was EXPENSIVE! We use a grill wok (perforated, high sided pan) to make our unassembled kabobs. Works great, very tasty. That chicken dish dish was, indeed, beautifully colorful.
Well there you guys are....being looking for your video on the build LOL....and since I didn't see one.....thought baby was here LOL....and Buggy made my day with the "Buggy Size Rake" OMG.....God Bless your family
Hi Ben, Meg and family. I just got a big smile on my face when I was strolling through and I seen your video pop up. Thank you guys I really enjoy them.😊 The sky is beautiful. It’s like a painting, beautiful that looks so yummy. I bet you your house is smelling awesome.
I’m excited for Meg’s garden🤗! Little Buggy is so doggone cute…just wanting to help and serenading us while she attempts to rake💜! That food looked mighty good y’all😘! I love the new juice catchers from Spain😊.
That’s how I make stir fry, I add a large can of pineapple, a can water chestnuts for crunch, sugar snaps or the other pea pods, broccoli and carrot strips, sesame oil…then grated ginger and minced garlic and add House of Tsang Szechuan Sauce and their other sauce Classic Sauce I think (my brain is down for remembering), some crushed red pepper, a little cornstarch to thicken slightly. Serve over rice!
From the comfort of my computer chair, it is wonderful to see things happening in the herb garden. And even if Meg weren't pregnant, it is nice that you are willing and also that other things have left an opening in the chore and project schedule.
That's kool you have a rake you can shorten to make a "Buggie size rake". Your food cups to catch the drips are great. No more meat nappies. Supper look yummy.
I was wondering what type of building inspections you had to deal with in NC. Every state is so different. I really admire your work ethic. You don’t just talk about stuff you get in there and get things done. God Bless.
Thank you for your videos. I look for them all the time. Your children are so well behaved. We also learn so many things from both of you. Can’t wait to see your new little one.❤❤❤

Hearing "Dad can you make a Buggy sized rake" made me melt. Ben when you were talking about the basket and said now I would need one that held 50 lbs. I thought of a Colorado Hatch Chile Roaster, I know that would hold enough food for the crew. HUGGS to the whole family.
Can’t wait to hear about new ideas and plans for the house! Meg. Please take it easy. I have 6 kids and it can become a lot! Take time to breathe!! Love you guys!

I'm glad you're helping get Meg's herb garden in. Wow, putting concrete down to hold the bricks flat. That's so nice borders you'll have. Yum, stir fry chicken with pineapple! That was cute when Brett looked in from the kitchen window! Wow, that BBQ chicken sounds delicious too! That's was cool that you could show us the basket and the recipe. I like the drip cups you got for your curing meats too. Too bad the inspector didn't pass the start of the build but maybe it's a good thing? I hope it doesn't slow you up too much. Thanks for this video Hollar family!
"Dad, can you make this a Buggy size rake" was one of the sweetest things I have heard. You and your children are just beautiful.

She really is precious ❣️
I appreciate your laid back attitude about the building pause. Very wise to handle stuff that way. 😊
I am sorry it is happening but I am impressed with your attitude. Praying for wisdom, clear communication and favor.

Donna here, just coming on to say my husband says that too- "I don't follow directions, it's against my code" said every man ever. ; )
