It's looking fantastic. Too funny about the window! I loved watching the kitty watch you out in the yard. I was surprised you haven't put the table saw in Greg's work shed for the winter.
Just a tip. I live in SE Texas. We have a swampy landscape and moisture is always a problem. If you make up a borax spray, and spray it on any wood you are worried about, it will prevent anything (algae/mold) from growing on it.
The window covered was hilarious. That room looks so nice with the floor done. I enjoy watching you two work together. Good times!! Maybe drag the trailer into the clearing, and during a snowfall - light it up, sell the leftover metal for scrap. LoL
sometimes, with a self defrosting freezer there is a water catch pan. when full water comes over the lip. chech your handbook you recieved with your freezer
I would place a a plastic tray underneath that freezer for the time being to be able to check what's going on before any condensate gets on the new floor.
Hi Katie and Greg. That was pretty funny about covering the window. The addition looks so nice with the flooring down. I look forward to the trim getting installed. You must be very happy to have it at this point. Getting the freezers out in the addition sure opened up the utility room. Keep up the great work. Have a blessed week and I'll see you on the next one. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
If the frame is good on that trailer. You could dismantle it and burn or haul off the stuff you don’t use and make a trailer to haul stuff in when you got longer things to haul that don’t fit in the truck so good.
The effort to record and edit the videos, and two weekly uploads make watching your channel a joy. Always something to look forward to, you deserve 200k subscribers.
You can strip the whole r.v and take the motor out and sale it for scrap metal and the body to then try to turn the frame into a shed or a wood trailer
Hey you two!! Rooms coming together great! About the condensation, maybe the heat from the motor is in that location and the cold air from the floor might be mixing with the heat from the freezer and condensing. Just a thought. It was sitting on subfloor with no thermal break. Excellent job! Cant wait to see the ceiling with the moulding! Are you guys going to add baseboard to the floor? Have a great day!
Normally you install your flooring lengthwise and use a transition strip at doorways. Gives a better appearance than seeing all the joint lines when you enter a room.
Ooh, lovely - a new video on a Tuesday! Glad you were able to laugh at your mistake. In the scheme of things it was very minor, and easily rectified. Katy, I am as impatient as you to see it all done. Can you believe that there are so many people around the world who are so invested in your building progress!! 😋
Great job on the flooring it went together pretty good 👍, I hope you left a 1/4 inch by the wall or you might get buckling as most will swell with temp changes, good luck great video :) Take care"
You two just get so focused on what you are doing, so I can understand how that could happen. Still, it is extremely funny, so thank you for making me laugh.
Normally you run floor boards parallel with the longest wall in the room. The generally accepted exception is when there is a lot of light coming into a room as in your case. Then the floor boards should run away from, or run to, the maximum light entering the room so, given the number of windows on the front door side of the extension, your choice of direction in this room is spot on.
Yes I also missed the covered window. However i am curious amount the empty space on the inside wall of the addition to used to have a window. what is the plan there. I thought the edit with the cat watching you re bonfire was excellent. Too bad the camera could not focus on the cat s face when it turned around. That would have been hilarious. The house and lands are looking great. Have a nice winter.
Guys, if you discover additional lamination again, have Greg drill a small hole and inject a wood glue and weight the lamination down. You may experience some additional deamination adjacent from just sanding it flat.
Been there done that you guys. My daughter and I did our whole house before we moved in. We just made one mistake in not checking to see if there were any low spots, consequently we have few squeaks here and there that wouldn’t if we had found them first.
Great JOB on that floor you two. WOW it looks beautiful!!! Sorry about the mold but you will get rid of it and good idea raising the freezer off the floor so you can watch it easier. Maybe put some sort of drip pan with foil on it underneath the the freezer where it's leaking and then next time you will only have to replace the foil on the drip pan and just slide it back under the freezer??? GOD Bless you all.
Don’t you have to had left some millimetres to the floor beams for Expansion and shrinkage. I had left to my laminate floor and covered that with skirting boards around. I think this is the right way. Greetings from Greece.
Hav a question? Gregg where is the drain for the washer? Don't see it Usually it's located in the water service box installed in the wall but only see the water service spikets
Floor looks nice 😊 I don't know if they make a plastic tray for freezers to sit in like they do washers. That might help your new floor from getting ruined. Just a thought. Have a great turkey day 😊
All heat exchanger’s condensate. 2x4 is good idea. Maybe a low height plastic tub to catch anything. Make sure cats don’t make it a dumping site for them.
Greg, I am not here to tell you how to lay flooring, but even tho you nailed it down, you should have left a 3/8 gap between the flooring and wall for expansion and contraction because it will move, possibly causing warping or gaps between the boards It look great, you and Katie make a great team
...I had an apt sized freezer do this to me...I figured out that they have a drip tray to catch condensation and an evaporator to deal with it...if the evaporator fails then the tray overflows in time. ...hope this helps
Thought Canada had introduced a new ‘Window Tax’ as in ENGLAND in 1753 for 5 years. In that time windows were filled in to reduce taxes. You can still see examples of this today! Re yours I jest, of course, and NO I failed to notice like many others no doubt. Thanks for the video, interesting as always. Phil 🇬🇧

There are many ways to accomplish success. Doing things only one way is narrow minded. Great job on the addition guys. Love the channel.
So funny about the window!! 😂 I can totally relate. ❤
The window covered was hilarious. That room looks so nice with the floor done. I enjoy watching you two work together. Good times!! Maybe drag the trailer into the clearing, and during a snowfall - light it up, sell the leftover metal for scrap. LoL
That was! I would have loved to see Greg’s reaction!

Lovingly the addition flooring, anther task completed xxx❤️💙
You guys are a hard working people. 💪💪❤️❤️👍👍

Your addition is looking so good 👍 Have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving ❤
Things are moving along nicely! Way to go! ❤️🇨🇦

SO FUNNY lol ! You did such a good job painting too :) Addition looks great 👍,
😂 Pooey coming to check on you from the window 🥰 XX
Looking very nice. Can’t wait to see the room finished ✅
Your added space is so nice, so much room, Happy Thanksgiving and take care
At 13:34 your lovely cat gets in the frame, priceless! Another great video, so impressed with it all - truly remarkable. Have a super week!
Making great progress, the flooring looks great in the addition ❤xx

😂you two! Well you were tired and it was late but the window is complete and the entry floor is done ❤🎉❤
That's betterer, much more good with a charged up battery. lol. That window was hilarious.

I would still put a cheap indoor door in the opening. When you open the outside door in the winter the heat from the entire downstairs will get lost.
I hope you realize you have to make a kitty perch/bed for her now! Thanks for sharing.
GREAT STORY

The water under the freezer is probably coming from condensation off the lines and the pump. Usually there is a tray underneath to catch any drips.
The floor looks awesome, well done!!
Great job on the flooring it went together pretty good 👍, I hope you left a 1/4 inch by the wall or you might get buckling as most will swell with temp changes, good luck great video :) Take care"
You two are so fantastic. Be so happy 😁
Wow everything seems to be coming together can't wait to see the next one
WOW! Funny window error. The flooring looks fantasic. How about a drip pan under the freezer
very nice addition , i like the flooring!😀❤
Thanks for sharing hi from Colorado Springs 😀
You two just get so focused on what you are doing, so I can understand how that could happen. Still, it is extremely funny, so thank you for making me laugh.
Your goat is hella funny. I get a kick out of that Greg yelling at them and they kept on going back in that fire Wow. 😅😅

Very nice addition to your home! Well done
I think I would have put up the floor molding up BEFORE I moved the freezer into your new addition!

Don't let those tiles get you down. Your house your design. Well done.
Great job
The addition looks great, Happy Thanksgiving. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Check the drain hose to the catch tray it might be blocked
01:45 😅😂🤣 this could be my failure.
Greetings from Bergneustadt Germany
Katie, I would put a pan to catch the water or whatever is leaking to see what it is.
The flooring looks really tight between the walls. You need to have a 1/4" gap all around to prevent buckling. Otherwise it is looking really good
Looking good. Nice job.
Still enjoy your videos from South Africa ❤
Your addtion looks great. I think you installed your floor to close to the walls. I look forward to your next video.
Great JOB on that floor you two. WOW it looks beautiful!!! Sorry about the mold but you will get rid of it and good idea raising the freezer off the floor so you can watch it easier. More light with the window revealed. No window breakage. Well done.

Flooring is suppose to run across the floor studs
Good God, they`re still working on the same home,
❄️ Hello guys, awesome 🌱 house
Floor looks nice 😊 I don't know if they make a plastic tray for freezers to sit in like they do washers. That might help your new floor from getting ruined. Just a thought. Have a great turkey day 😊
Thanks for sharing, guys
Sketchy
Hey, you forgot to cut out the Window next to the Door. ( This is funny )
😂 I never noticed the window! 😂
Drain plug open. Or condensation from the coils after it goes through a defrost cycle. Maybe??
If you raise the freezer, put a water proof floor protector under (just in case). Don't let it spoil your beautiful floor.
Good Afternoon from Ga.
you really need to leave a gap at the edges for expansion and to avoid buckling later on
Gotcha 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤
17:57 Thought you might be having BBQ goat for a second. Hard headed things, aren't they?
Put some kind of pan under your freezer until you figure out the problem.
All heat exchanger’s condensate. 2x4 is good idea. Maybe a low height plastic tub to catch anything. Make sure cats don’t make it a dumping site for them.
Might be a broken defrost tray under that freezer , open the hatch on the fan and see it might just have shifted out of place .
You guys do great work. From a bus to what you have now' is just awesome and a great accomplishment on the part of you two guys alone..
Hello from Germany from Kakenstorf Hans and Oci have a good time ❤❤❤👍👍👍❤❤❤
Do you guys grow a garden in the summer?
The roomis going to be great when completed. Good fornyou Greg on wantong to complete the last strip of flooring.
Very nice floor
The floor looks great. Thanks so much for the video.

Take the appliances out of the trailer and make a outside kitchen area and then dispose of the trailer.
I did notice but thought you were closing it up lol
You need a Roto zap to cut that drywall around the windows out. Make your job way easier.
nice ty
Okay lolol now thats a classic funny as heck at least easy to fix😊😊
Your new "sunroom" (or whatever designation it has) looks great.
Good Afternoon
Y`all getting your house looking good!!
You two floored me about the window. but when you move, move all the time you can forget things.
Too funny with the window the addition ya have nailed it hope ya have wonderful thanksgiving be safe 💞🙂
👍looking great,❤👍
That's funny😂
The "Blind Leading the Blind".
Looking great and coming together ❤️! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

Put a metal cookie sheet under your freezer to catch any dripping’s!
Looks good 👍
love you guys .keep up the good work
