I personally love this type of music and a gearhead and enjoyed the video... Bunch of wusses on TH-cam. I sold my Ralliart 5 years ago and still miss it sometimes... But I never trusted the SST transmission. It's somewhat reassuring seeing videos like this along with countless blown SST cars on craigslist. Do you trust it after the rebuild, or even in general? How hard is it to even remove to begin with?
I'm rebuilding the engine at the moment. I'm confident there won't be an issue with the trans for a while. If these cars are looked after they will go for a long time. The removal is time consuming but straight forward.

There is 1 speed sensor and then 6 gear sensors that are part of the mechatronics
The speed sensor is under the odd gear set. Complete disassembly of transmission to gain access

A lot and it depends on what parts are needed and how far you want to go. Anything from 3 to 4k at a guest.
