I am using the same victory rip tko's. You are goung to like them they are very tough and durable. I am using the Easton inserts 75g with 125g field points. Using nocturnal's for my nock and bohning wrap with the bohning x vane's and a three vane configuration, with a left helical. As for the broadhead I am using the annihilator's at 125g. With a total arrow weight of 523g. I shoot the same set up for practice as i do for hunting.
That's not how I shoot my release. I rest my thumb on the trigger and pull through until it goes off. I pointed out in the video that some of the shots weren't clean and that's going to affect the bareshafts. 40 yards is my limit on shooting bareshafts and I need to shoot it several times to verify things because it's unforgiving and every mistake is magnified.
Quit shooting groups 30 yards and in and quit ruining shafts. Pick a five spot for target practice that close. Ethics Archery components are the best insert/outsert system, in my opinion.
I don't shoot groups at 30yd and under. Most of the shafts were cracked from shooting at 40-50yds. I limit my groups to 3 arrows at 40yd but I'll still sometimes clip a nock. And it's a bit unavoidable during 3D shoots when shooting the same target with other archers. I've also heard good things about ethics archery components. Haven't tried them before though.
@truoutdoors well, then just stop shooting groups and stop breaking shafts. Pick different spots. Also, if you are target shooting with others, then go to a dedicated target arrow and nock pins.
I'm not intentionally trying to break my shafts... I'm just pointing out my BE rampage shafts broke rather easily when I would clip a nock. I've used other arrows in the past and didn't have this happen. The nocks would crack and I could replace only the nock. I've read alot of reviews of other people having a similar issue. Yes, having a dedicated target set up would be ideal but I don't have that at the moment. Perhaps in the future.
Good video man. Like the in depth review. I’m running RIP TKO’s with iron will inserts and collars and Max Hunters in a 3 fletch
Thanks! Nice, how are you liking the RIP TKO arrow shafts?
@@truoutdoors I love the RIP TKO’s. Very durable and easy to pull from targets. I’m a huge fan of the 5mm/.204 size as well
Nice, I hope these hold up well for me this year! Same. I think .204 shafts have a good balance of small diameter and variety of components.
@@truoutdoors the variety of components is a huge selling point for me!
Cool setup
Thanks!
Great video man!
Thanks!

Nice, that's good to hear. That sounds like a solid setup, a good amount of weight there. What bow are you shooting those arrows with?
@@truoutdoors the Hoyt RX7 ultra.
266 fps, not exactly blazing fast, but quick enough to do the trick
@@stevew3718 nice!
What is your bow setup and what is your bow
I'm using a Hoyt Powermax, 70lb draw weight at 29" draw length. You can find a video on my bow setup on my channel.
Okay thank you
What’s your Draw Length by chance?
29 inches
You punching your trigger bud, that's why your arrows are all over the place
