I commute on mine and did a track day last Sunday. Not a strong turning rider myself but had a really good morning on a zx4rr. Believe the bike is a great commuter and could be a good track bike in the right hands. Starter track bike for sure. Hardest part of riding the 4RR is learning to hear the engine. I’ve never been much a high rev rider. Learning to hear the shift points has been a challenge. At Little Tally, with my weight I could run full lap in 2nd, and it was fun. Expect that will change as I improve at corner entry and accept more speed into the corners. If you can afford it, it’s a good bike!
I ended up getting the 400 twin and I'm really happy that I did. As much as I love the zx-4rrs sound I couldn't justify paying "almost" the cost of a new 600 and not getting the power
I just bought a 2023 Ninja 400 KRT in that same blue last week! Not exactly what I wanted, but I still love it (wanted a 2022 MT07 dream bike). Having a blast learning still. Accidentally got like ALL of the warranties, and it turned out to be like $11k... it's a forever bike, though, bc you've talked about how you track it for technique and it's fun. Almost like a Miata compared to a Mustang. Low power blast
I got a GSX-S1000, CBR300R, and a Honda metro and I swear I have just as much fun if not more on the 300 as I do on the bigger or smaller bike! I can get off the liter bike and ring the 300’s neck and push it right to the limit cause it’s so easy to find compared to the liter bike. Also revving it out is fun you do that on my big bike you will be in handcuffs in no time, so it makes the little Hondas more fun to get from point a to b!

But for less money I can get an inline 4 650 that I can grow into and use more of the bike as I get better.. I guess the 650 is the right choice as the power is all in the top end of the Honda… but that ninja is just so cool.
I love the idea of the zx4. But i cannot justify it for that price when i could get a zx6 for 2000 more dollars. And tbh, if yoi can save 10k, just put in the extra time to save 2 more. Buy a zx6 or buy a 2021 zx6 used for 9k. I can justify the ninja 400 for its price as a bike aimed towards brand new riders that want an aggressive looking bike

Question for Brandon: Noticed that he covers the front brake with his middle and ring fingers, instead of his index for example. Is there any specific reason, or it just comforts him more like that? Is it to control the throttle his index finger, something he picked/learned from his racing career? Thanks! xD
I noticed this too and started doing it. Here's what I noticed after changing my hand just this little differently. It's easier for me to keep a screwdriver hold because my index and thumb are looping the bar. I felt more grip between my glove and throttle while also letting my finger caress the brake lever. These are what I've noticed from my own experiences.
I did that naturally and my instructors for the Harley MSF thing kept telling me not to do that, I naturally still do it, and even though they helped me a lot I feel they are wrong in saying to only use all four fingers

They go so far as to refuse to let me get my M1 or even menschen a motorcycle as an option and I was wondering if you would have any suggestions or ways or even a video that you alrighty posted talking about this issue. It would be really nice to hire your opinion thanks have a great rest of your night or day. ps I absolutely love your content keep it up!
When is this cominh to sweden?
Did he say "buffering" more than once? Or was it buffeting?
Why does your website say you give away a bike every month?
Thank You Almighty God I will buy some for myself
What ia the color scheme of this 400? What is that blue named?
If things go well, I will be on a 2002 yzf r6 by 26th, maybe a few squid repairs, lol 😆
Zx4 sounds better, be loud, and be heard
What year are the bikes doesn't say ?
I owned a reflashed zx4rr with underbelly full exhaust producing 95hp and can get 200kph (asia)
How's the insurence difference between these bikes? I'm from europe so can't look up much. Do they differ much?
Just from running a lot of quotes on a lot of bikes - I would guess they will be close. Certainly not so much different as to sway your decision.
I daily commute on my 2021 BMW S1000RR M Package with zero issues
zx4rr costs WAY too much. for the price just buy a used ZX10r
Yeah, if I'm spending that much on a bike for its handling prowess I'd go with the 636 all day. Cool bike though.
But some people don't want that power tho, you can how alotbof fun on this bike
@@croscoe333636 is the way
@@kevsimoes buy the ninja 400 save yourself the money. zx4rr is a waste of money. at this price. you can buy a used Zx10r or zx6r for the price of this thing
@zx10bk but I want to have fun on the zx4rr, I want the inlune 4 and the tech. I wanna ring out the bike without going 100 in second gear
I would really like to see them in the twisties. I mean real twisties. Not almost straight roads like this...
you have pequliar method of using fingers on the throttle and the front brake ... 🧐 any advantages comparing the standard way?
That's how I ride as well
@@bsxxfurballxx692 the question still stands, motorically speaking the index and the middle finger works more in pare...
Comparing a $5k bike and a $10k bike is a little crazy
Yet we are here watching
I legit just sold my ninja 400 for a zx6r. After riding for a while. I feel like I made a big mistake! The position fucking sucks after 40 mins
Its really not bad at all. Hit the gym and maintain a strong core or even stretch before longer rides. It will help
@@sendysent I'll try for a bit longer but christ
Chuck a handlebar conversion kit on it. Its awesome
@@mikes_channel I was just looking at the impacketech version
@@jesusnieves2170 nice! Great choice 😎
Think you add the diffrence in price to mods that 400 would hurt that zx4r
Look at some of the MotoGP guys, a lot of not all of them use middle fingers to trail brake
shouldnt be covering the front brake at all accelerating/cruising its super dangerous. only reach when youre braking or preparing to brake
5:18 its more than comfortability
I want the zx4rr to go slower and still have fun.
Is Kawasaki going full PIG by charging $10.3K for the ZX4RR? Their KLX300 is similarly overpriced iMO. Inflation or Greed?
I guess zx4r is loophole to get more power with modifications for less insurance money. Let me know if I am right.
the 400 had bro giggling 🤣🤣
🤔 the more expensive heavier bike with less torque is the better street bike? Did Kawisaki send a scathing letter?
Just busting balls. I haven't ridden either, so I shouldn't comment.
its not 😁👌🏻
i wish i get one of those bikes.
Ninja 400 cannot compete with the ZX4-RR in any area.
Except being fucking HALF the price lol. Should be comparing the 4RR to the 636 since they're similarly priced.
For the money? Do you feel you could spend $3000 on a 400 and get more than a stock zx4rr? I do..
