The "set target to squad" device can also be used to give a more precise location to your teammates that are not in the squad using the minimap. This way, if you can see the enemy but you are unsure about the exact location in the minimap, use the squad set and then point it on the minimap. Seriously, it helps A LOT. I got myself saved dozens of times because of this If you just began playing GRB, follow these 4 principles. 1- STAY AWAY from danger, specially urban/close quarters combat (there will be some situations when this will be difficult) 2- if you have no FPE/parts, stay as close as you can from the cap points, it is better to survive than waste a free repair. 3- Avoid unnecessary attention like shooting your MGs, destroying trees, shooting teammates and enemy planes, etc 4- And more importantly: be patient.
Patience is definitely the biggest thing I've learned. Stay away from open areas and let your teammates find the enemy. I also never knew about the set target to squad before so I'm going to definitely try that
If you play ground RB and you like the lower ranks, or havent advanced further id say THE most important tip is NEVER move first. Human eyes are quite fantastic and will or should alert you to movement even the most fickle kind behind brush and scrub. Better to stay still and look around you. Most people will just bumble about providing you with ample oppurtunity to slap them around.
2:05 I use a system of crew rotations. By playing all nations, I almost always have vehicles ready to go while my vehicles are in repair. Also, a handful of games before sleep and/or work means you'll get intact vehicles for free when you wake up/come home from work.
3:03 I'm a kinetic learner; I can study the vehicle for hours and come out with nothing... And then get shot down twice and learn it's weakpoints that way. It's good advice for the more book learner out there, but some people will only learn the weak points of tanks the hard way.
new player here, I only played arcade till I got BR 3+ and moved onto realistic, but my aim is horrible, so I still hope back into arcade and test drives to practice
@@accalt6519 Hey man late reply but if you never figured it out, go into control settings, ground vehicles, camera control and at the bottom of that sub heading there is a drop down called "Mouse Wheel (Ground Vehicles)" if its set to zoom axis by default, you can change it to "Sight Distance Control" this will allow you to scroll your range up and down manually, really useful for non laser range-finding
Awesome tips! Thank you. One opinion i have for you is to use a mic and narrate your video rather than using a voice synthesizer. The lack of pausing between commas and periods makes it difficult to listen along. Again, thank you for the amazing tips!
._. welp i started from planes ;-; upgrading every nation rank per rank(exept china, sweden, and israel) to know how to deal with every type of plane, what are the pluses and minuses of each plane(and it already is for me like a job ._.) really want to someday play at those ground RB but skill issue just says that i am a newborn at the ground battles. So i will just complete my journey with planes(i stopped at rank 1 Germany... just at start i can say)
Technically, no such tank exists. I will say, though, that the German Sturmpanzer II (I think it's called like...15cm pzr II or whatever now), as well as the Ho-Ro and Ro-Go Experimental are very low BR but their guns will slap things of a considerably higher BR. Only problem is their armour is made of paper and the crew is largely exposed.
@@verronernst I mean... kinda? There's going to be some suffering no matter what. It's a free game, which means it has "free game problems" like how progression is a slow grind. The good news is most premium vehicles are not pay-to-win (and in some cases, they're more like 'pay-to-lose'...) and are more meant to be toys or curiosities than actually "good" vehicles. Still, like with any multiplayer game, there will be matches where you have a ton of fun and matches where you hate the developers, your teammates, your opponents, and yourself. As a general rule of thumb: German tanks tend to have stronger guns. Russian and certain American tanks tend to be harder to kill. British tanks are awful until like BR 3 or 4 and then they get scary. Crapanese tanks are almost all awful except for their SPGs, which delete just about everything you point at. Italian tanks are weird but if you can adapt to the weirdness of each tank they tend to be balanced. Chinese tanks are just American and Russian tanks until higher BRs. French tanks are... mediocre but not bad? No clue about the Israeli tanks, though. Haven't unlocked them yet.
One thing I can suggest is research the nations you are playing and find the benefits of them that align with your playstyle. I learned this late into my USSR grind and found I was way more effective with germany and great Britain tanks due to their inherent benefits. Needless to say I now enjoy the game tenfold. Try it out.

If you have it, you should leave IRCM on in all cases except night battles, because it could save you from a early-mid ATGM
I'm proud of myself for knowing about half and grateful I heard about the other half. Great tips!
Now if you have Prem acc you shouldnt disable Auto repair bc of expenses compensation
Very True, but its for people who don’t have premium accounts.
Nice, i dint know i can save lions playing arcade lol

How do you adjust the sights when you rangefind? I cant seem to figure it out and i juat adjust my sights manually
only tanks with laser rangefinder modification like top tier tanks can range find and adjust sight distance at once
