Thats a good little street weapon you have. I race a mk4 1.8t gti all stock everything except for a diode mod and no tune at 15 psi. All i did was gut the interior and i weighed in at 2400 lbs no driver. And my fastest time slip at sac raceway was 13.6 at 105.

You're trying to say a stock mk4 gti did 105 mph to someone who's been doing this for 20 years lol. Not even close 🤦‍♂️

@gtdrummerdude i race it every wed. At sacramento race way. Its a 2002 awp 180 hp motor 1.8t. I have over 400 passes on my gti. And keep all of my time slips. It is bone stock. Ko3s turbo, stock cylinder head, stock block and rods, stock 5 speed without a limited slip or posi, stock mass air flow sensor size. My mods are ac delete, upgraded side mount inter cooler, side gapped the spark plugs running denso resistor style, upgraded fuel pump for later mods, front bumper cold air intake home made 3 inch pipe. Straight piped 3 inch exhaust with cat delete. And a diode mod set at 17 psi spike and 15 hold on stock tune. No tuning. My fastest time is 13.6 at 105 mph at 2.1 60 ft time, on nitto 555r drag radials 245.45.17 at 26 inch diameter tires in the front. I use only 3 gears in the 1/4. And my 60 to 130 is 9.75 seconds. Hitting 3rd, and 4th. I can prove everything time slip for the car. Plus the car is fully gutted and i have the weigh-in slip to prove its sitting at 2400 lbs flat without me in the car at a 1/4 tank of gas. Im at least 500 pounds lighter then you. Do the math.

@vdubsterw2516 I can do math fine. Those cars do 90 mph stock. You are claiming to add 15 mph by removing some weight. No lol. The stock turbo is not even capable of a 105 mph trap speed no matter what is done to that car. You have no videos on your channel despite all that racing you do because you are lying. A 105 mph 1/4 is nowhere near a 9.75 60-130, it's a 15 second 60-130. You also didn't remove 500 lbs by gutting the interior. Every other mk4 that does 105-107 mph has a hybrid turbo. Despite everything you claimed being factually false and impossible, I'm sure your stock 1.8t mk4 gti is equal to a tuned mk7 in performance 🥴🥴 stop making shit up and go away man.

Not bad but I expected uni stage 2 and is38 trap to be way higher than 106 and 110

I did too, but that expectation was wrong. Think about it. Unitronic claims 381 bhp from stage 2+ right? My C6 Corvette trapped 112 mph with 400 bhp and my GTI trapped 110 mph with 381 bhp, both cars having the same weight. That lines up perfectly. Also take into account that I'm in the southwest so we will be a little slower than the rest of the country due to higher DA. That being said I got 111.6 mph later with E20 fuel cuz our gas sucks here. I have a better TIP and cat-back coming this week along with slightly cooler air so I will post another video Sunday. The car runs exactly how it should at 3,200 lbs with 381 hp, its just that APR and Uni etc make WILD claims from their stage 1 and 2 tunes. How are you gonna go 112 mph at 337 hp (Uni's stage 2 power and trap speed claim)? There is no car rated near 337 hp that traps 112 mph lol. A 370Z is 3,200 lbs with 332 hp and Motor Trend tested it at 106 mph, and that's corrected to sea level. I got 106-107 at 2,000 ft DA so the car is doing exactly what it should, you just have to ignore the 1/4 mile claims from the tuning companies.

@gtdrummerdude well not really wrong when you consider DA. I guess our cars here are just faster . I trapped 112 with a tuned 2014 mustang gt. But I had a passenger. Bald tires. Launching fron gravel shoulder. And exhaust in the trunk . My guess would be a 115 or 116 trap time. In 70 degree weather at around 1300DA. Stock they come at 420hp at around 3600lbs. I now have a mk8 and will run baseline numbers once I get a dragy

@gtdrummerdude also for the 370z thing I think they trap around 107-109 here (7at) so location and DA/temps def play a factor

@@youngrios idk where you are located but I had 2 friends that both went 12.80s at 111 mph in stock gen 1 6 speed coyotes. They were both absolute killer drivers though. Last time I went to the drags most of the gen 1&2 coyotes were doing 108 mph mostly stock. I think 110ish mph is right on par for an is38 Unitronic car in average conditions. EQT and others have higher torque targets than Unitronic so they will be a bit faster but at the cost of MUCH more boost. Meaning more wear on the turbo and the engine. EQT and others will see peaks of 28-29, even 30 psi on stage 2 and 3 tunes. My car peaks at 22 psi. Not gonna notice a difference over 10 or 20k miles but if you want the car to live to 200,000 miles, it ain't gonna do it pushing 30 lbs of boost daily lol. That's why I stay Unitronic. I go WOT several times every time I drive my cars.

@@youngrios Oh and yea, Maryland is MUCH faster than Phoenix. Guy named Ranger set the record for a stock C5Z06 and stock C6 Z06 at MIR. 11.55 @ 120 in the C5Z and 10.7 @ 131 mph in the C6Z with drag radials and no mods. For comparison, his C5Z actually dyno'd within 2 hp of mine (both Dynojet and SAE which corrects for air density) yet 114 mph is the fastest my car ever trapped in Phoenix and his did 120. Maryland and the New England area produce some VERY low DAs.

    I trapped 111 on my IS20 E85

Nice. No surprise there. I upped my octane a bit and ran it again in cooler air and got 113. Even in 85° weather it went 111.5 once I raised my octane. Our gas sucks here. It's a 93 octane tune and I had to run 91 octane + 3 oz of Octanium + 2 gallons E85 to reduce the KR. And it still pulls timing between 3,000 and 4,500 rpm lol 🤦‍♂️
