In step 7, they asked if I have received an email from U.S Consulate in Lagos to schedule my appointment. Since I haven’t, I selected No and the next step they said at this point you can’t proceed in scheduling your K 1 visa appointment. Please advice what should I do at this point? My NOA2 was 27/01/23 and case number was on 28/03/23 till now, no appointment from the Consulate in Lagos.

So I explained how it worked and how we started talking and how we fell in love 4. Have you ever been to the US? 5. Have you met his family? 6. Where do they live? 7. Where does your boyfriend live? 8. Is it a house? appartment? 9. What does your family think about you both getting married? 10. Has he visited you? 11. When? 12. Only once? why? 13. Are you excited to go to the US? 14. What breed is your fiancee's dog? And then he was supposed to hand me the IMBRA pamplet, so I told him that I have it right here, cause I printed it for the interview, and he told me he was going to give me one but since I'm already familiar with it, he won't, but he asked me 15. Have you read it? So I said yes, and then he told me that everything looks amazing and that I should get my passport in between one to two weeks. Hope this is also useful for everybody who's reading, YOU GOT THIS!!! Just like me and Bryan! They notice when you're talking about your love! I just couldn't contain my excitement and was smiling the whole time during the interview hahah

Then, since we're doing all this though a lawyer, he's the one that got the NOA2 with the instructions about 3 months later and that's when I got the instructions for the interview (which I was able to schedule the next day along with my medical appointment) medical appointment was scheduled for april 18th and then may 11th was my interview 😊 if you need any other information let me know!

Could you please make a video on what exactly you did after the second email, what forms did you fill and how did you fill it like ds-160 etc? Did you also fill out a ds-260?
I got an email from nvc and that was my welcome letter with my new case number and embassy location for my fiance to go to do the interview location. Once from there. The case will be sent to the embassy. You can track your new care number on this site : ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV Then if your case is ready. That means you can start the ds160. But before it’s being sent to the embassy. I got an email of instructions by the embassy on what to do. It had links on an email and websites to do the forms. They will look at your fiance to their face. And see their confidence and saying it without being too nervous. They look at speech patterns and looking to see if the answer is genuine and honest. They look at eye contact and making sure it’s not memorized. They can tell if something is off.

Hello sir i already done my interview on25 November and i approved for k1 visa but on ceac visa status still show that my case is ready for interview and if already done interview then wait for 2working days. What can i do now sir its 23 December already
@@Yutaokkutsku if your case is already approved and you had your interview and it was approved. Then all you need to do is wait for the visa to be mailed to you or picked up. You will received a letter in the mail for your receipt in your k1 approved.
You can say a potential date in the future. That way it gives the impression that you folks are serious. And you can mention on who is coming to the wedding. Small or big wedding. And location and preparation. Anything that you can mention that will help to let the uscis and immigration know that your folks are serious.
@@petermooney6704 yes. It will be awhile for you to get approved. Start prepping all documents in order once you get to the interview. That way you are way prepared.

Hi Bryan! I have my interview in 3 weeks (I'm the beneficiary). I find it very odd to have to answer the question "do you have a date for your wedding?" if this all depends on if I'm granted a visa in the first place ahah I mean, my US fiancè and I are thinking of location and date but until I actually get the visa it's all in the air, am I wrong?
You can give a tentative and estimate date on when you want to get married and certain location on how you want to get married. That gives the person that is interviewing you an idea and how serious the relationship is.
Congratulations again. So happy for you. My case was approved on 4.13.23 and its good until 8.12.23 case should be at NVC did you get everything done within the 4 months after the approval letter?
It did. It made it on time within the four months. You just need to have nvc to push through your case to be data inputted. But once they send your welcome letter. Your good to go. But thank you so much for watching. We are super happy. I hope it goes for u too. Keep me posted on your journey.
Yes. Once you do the ds160 forms. And make sure everything is correct on that forms. Once you do it, print out the confirmation form and bring it to the interview and have that copy part of your evidence as well. So print two copies. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Hi Bryan! I'm here again, with a couple more questions... 1. Do I need to mail the documents, evidence etc. to the embassy before the interview for k1? 2. Can I pay the DS-160 with credit card? 3. The English translation of my birth certificate needs to be approved and stamped by the American ambassador and brought to the interview or is it enough to have it translated by an official interpreter? How did you wife do to get the translation? Thanks a lot!!
You need to prep the folders for your interview. I have a clip on what to do on folders. You can pay the ds160’on credit card. Birth certificate must be English translated if it hasn’t. The embassy won’t allow foreign written birth certificate . So if it’s. Then you need to be translated and certified on a stamp.
@backwithbryan stamp certified means that it's made from an official company or is it a particular stamp applied to translations needed for visa/government?

You second intent to marry letter you want to address the letter to the embassy / consulate on file. With a date and your address on the sheet. Write your explanation. And also sign as well.

I met my fiancee in a wedding occasion 2019 in my country..the relationship started there,, She visited me in dubai 2021. She visted me again in 2023 in my country when i traveled fir my vacation. If i am asked a question,? How many times have we met? And how many times has she visited you,? What will be my answer? Should i include the first day i met her? Should i say two times or three times.?
If they ask you, how you met your fiancé. Just tell them you met just in 2019 on the wedding location because that’s how you guys started. If that’s what you wrote on the i129f. That’s what you need to make sure it what your saying during the interview. If you change your story. It’s going to be a red flag If they ask you how many times has your fiance busted you in your country? Just tell the interview the number of times with date and year. Hope this helps.
Oh you can submit maybe at least three pics on one page. So maybe at least five pages of good relationship pics of you and your fiancé. And maybe pictures of your engagement ring and celebration.

Just say your getting married in the USA and want to learn your fiance culture and how exciting it would be to have a family there as well. And build a relationship with your fiancés family too.
The welcome letter will come in about 2.5-3.5 months from the time you got approved by uscis. You will receive the welcome letter on email with your new case number.
If your not working and your fiancé is the one supporting. That’s fine. As long as your honest with the interview and what you write on the forms of the i134. That’s all it matters.
In my 1-129 form i wrote my fiance previous mobile number,but currently she changed another mobile number,she has a new one,so if i am asked about my fiancee mobile number,should i d previous mobile number or the new mobile number
The new number will need to be updated. Since the i129f form has been turned in. You can update it on the i134 form and the ds160 later down the road. So your good for now.

You can say we met three times since we been together. Mention month and year on all three times visiting. So that the interview person will know exactly.

Just be honest and answer it quickly and efficient in month and year. That’s pretty much it. So don’t over load with a lot of answers. Cause they will keep diving into it more. And it will harder for you folks in the interview.
For K1 visa depending on the country NVC doesn’t send the welcome letter the U. S embassy of that country sends you how to move forward with your case and what to bring. (From my experience)
@@purposereborn1422 No don’t be patient, if NVC sent your case to Senegal, inquire about the date they sent it. && begin contacting Senegals U.S counselor because the earlier you pay your visa fee and do your DS-160. The better chance of getting an appointment date.

I waited two weeks to inquire about my case to NVC. And they told me they send my packet to Lagos embassy. After another two weeks I started emailing Lagos embassy. It took them up to 1month to send me and my fiancee the packet to now to and pay for K1 visa fee. There was no welcome letter from NVC. Simply a email from Lagos embassy saying go and pay your fees. And here is a packet of the list of documents to being for your interview etc..

The beneficiary books the interview with date and time. You can track your case online with making an account or you can use an app called uscis tracker. And you can track your receipt number to your case You don’t need to renew your NOA 2. Once you get approved for your k-1. You will need to get your email welcome letter from the embassy and do the next following steps to process your case. You noa2 will be fine. Mines almost got expired but as long as your approved. Then it’s fine.
Birth certificate needs to be English translated from both side. Petitioner and beneficiary. If it’s in another Language. Then you need it to be translated into English and to approved by the translation company for stamp approval. But always have your original copy for filing for your AOS You need an updated intent to marry letter once you get approved from the k1 visa from the NOA 2. Once you get approved. You and your fiancé both need to make another intent to marry letter in order to get married and what’s your plans to the future and also why you want to marry each other. You can use the ds3025 for your AOS process. So when your interview is done. Then the interview person must hand you all your documents back and it should have your medical vaccination paper to work as well. So make sure to ask once you get approved.

P.S: Still didn’t get the package from US Embassy. But I got the welcome letter from NVC and I can’t login to ceac to pay the fees or submit any docs because I never got an Invoice ID from NVC and to login to ceac it asks for an Invoice ID. @odahodije7294 I kept writting Nigeria embassy until they sent my fiancee his welcome letter. Typically they won’t send you an official welcome letter. It will be an email letting you and your fiancee know that you can go and pay the visa fee. If I were you I would start emailing them.
@@odahodije7294my Fiancee did his interview, it was very easy for him, they only asked him about me, and what I do for my job, and they had the pictures of us and our daughter so they did not ask him much question. His interview was less than 5minutes. The welcome email with come from Nigeria’s embassy. NVC no longer has anything to do with your case ounce it’s transferred
@@odahodije7294go and pay for your visa fee and the bank they tell you to. And after that you will get a confirmation number. You will go to the atlas ustraveldoc portal and sign up, and submit a new application. Once you submit application you will put your visa type and will also do a DS160 page. Make sure all the information match. Passport is at least valid for the next year and above. Bryan shows a lot of step of his journey go back in his videos and watch all the steps.

You said you received 2 emails from NVC, 1st an approval and then another with instructions. Did you get an invoice ID?
Could you please make a video on what exactly you did after the second email, what forms did you fill and how did you fill it like ds-160 etc? Did you also fill out a ds-260?
I got an email from nvc and that was my welcome letter with my new case number and embassy location for my fiance to go to do the interview location.
Once from there. The case will be sent to the embassy. You can track your new care number on this site : ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV
Then if your case is ready. That means you can start the ds160.
But before it’s being sent to the embassy. I got an email of instructions by the embassy on what to do. It had links on an email and websites to do the forms.

My question is relating to all these questions when the fiancé answers how will they know if the answer is correct ?
They will look at your fiance to their face. And see their confidence and saying it without being too nervous. They look at speech patterns and looking to see if the answer is genuine and honest. They look at eye contact and making sure it’s not memorized. They can tell if something is off.

Hello sir i already done my interview on25 November and i approved for k1 visa but on ceac visa status still show that my case is ready for interview and if already done interview then wait for 2working days. What can i do now sir its 23 December already
@@Yutaokkutsku if your case is already approved and you had your interview and it was approved. Then all you need to do is wait for the visa to be mailed to you or picked up. You will received a letter in the mail for your receipt in your k1 approved.

How can you answer questions on wedding dates when you dont even know when the visa is coming then all of a sudden need to plan all within 3 months
You can say a potential date in the future. That way it gives the impression that you folks are serious. And you can mention on who is coming to the wedding. Small or big wedding. And location and preparation. Anything that you can mention that will help to let the uscis and immigration know that your folks are serious.

@@petermooney6704 yes. It will be awhile for you to get approved. Start prepping all documents in order once you get to the interview. That way you are way prepared.

Hi Bryan! I have my interview in 3 weeks (I'm the beneficiary). I find it very odd to have to answer the question "do you have a date for your wedding?" if this all depends on if I'm granted a visa in the first place ahah I mean, my US fiancè and I are thinking of location and date but until I actually get the visa it's all in the air, am I wrong?
You can give a tentative and estimate date on when you want to get married and certain location on how you want to get married. That gives the person that is interviewing you an idea and how serious the relationship is.
Congratulations again. So happy for you. My case was approved on 4.13.23 and its good until 8.12.23 case should be at NVC did you get everything done within the 4 months after the approval letter?

Yes. Once you do the ds160 forms. And make sure everything is correct on that forms.
Once you do it, print out the confirmation form and bring it to the interview and have that copy part of your evidence as well.

You need to prep the folders for your interview. I have a clip on what to do on folders.
You can pay the ds160’on credit card.
Birth certificate must be English translated if it hasn’t. The embassy won’t allow foreign written birth certificate . So if it’s. Then you need to be translated and certified on a stamp.
We got a company that did it for us on the birth certificate and made it English tranlslated. It cost us about 75.00 to do it in Thailand.

@@tahminasarika6719 you can’t do the i134 until your case is approved. But in the meantime. You can prep your folders and evidences when it’s time to do an interview and when your approved.

If i am asked a question,? How many times have we met? And how many times has she visited you,? What will be my answer? Should i include the first day i met her? Should i say two times or three times.?
If they ask you, how you met your fiancé. Just tell them you met just in 2019 on the wedding location because that’s how you guys started. If that’s what you wrote on the i129f. That’s what you need to make sure it what your saying during the interview. If you change your story. It’s going to be a red flag
If they ask you how many times has your fiance busted you in your country? Just tell the interview the number of times with date and year. Hope this helps.

Oh you can submit maybe at least three pics on one page. So maybe at least five pages of good relationship pics of you and your fiancé. And maybe pictures of your engagement ring and celebration.

Just say your getting married in the USA and want to learn your fiance culture and how exciting it would be to have a family there as well. And build a relationship with your fiancés family too.

The welcome letter will come in about 2.5-3.5 months from the time you got approved by uscis. You will receive the welcome letter on email with your new case number.

If your not working and your fiancé is the one supporting. That’s fine. As long as your honest with the interview and what you write on the forms of the i134. That’s all it matters.
In my 1-129 form i wrote my fiance previous mobile number,but currently she changed another mobile number,she has a new one,so if i am asked about my fiancee mobile number,should i d previous mobile number or the new mobile number
The new number will need to be updated. Since the i129f form has been turned in. You can update it on the i134 form and the ds160 later down the road. So your good for now.

You can say we met three times since we been together.
Mention month and year on all three times visiting. So that the interview person will know exactly.

If the interview person asked how many times has your usa fiance visited you total. Just be honest and answer it quickly and efficient in month and year. That’s pretty much it. So don’t over load with a lot of answers. Cause they will keep diving into it more. And it will harder for you folks in the interview.

For K1 visa depending on the country NVC doesn’t send the welcome letter the U. S embassy of that country sends you how to move forward with your case and what to bring. (From my experience)

@@purposereborn1422 Okay, i am saying after receiving NOA 2 don’t sot waiting for a welcome letter each embassy is different. Ours was Nigeria, so after receiving my NOA2. I waited two weeks to inquire about my case to NVC. And they told me they send my packet to Lagos embassy. After another two weeks I started emailing Lagos embassy. It took them up to 1month to send me and my fiancee the packet to now to and pay for K1 visa fee. There was no welcome letter from NVC. Simply a email from Lagos embassy saying go and pay your fees. And here is a packet of the list of documents to being for your interview etc..

The beneficiary books the interview with date and time.
You can track your case online with making an account or you can use an app called uscis tracker. And you can track your receipt number to your case
You don’t need to renew your NOA 2. Once you get approved for your k-1. You will need to get your email welcome letter from the embassy and do the next following steps to process your case.
You noa2 will be fine. Mines almost got expired but as long as your approved. Then it’s fine.
Birth certificate needs to be English translated from both side. Petitioner and beneficiary. If it’s in another Language. Then you need it to be translated into English and to approved by the translation company for stamp approval. But always have your original copy for filing for your AOS
You need an updated intent to marry letter once you get approved from the k1 visa from the NOA 2. Once you get approved. You and your fiancé both need to make another intent to marry letter in order to get married and what’s your plans to the future and also why you want to marry each other.
You can use the ds3025 for your AOS process. So when your interview is done. Then the interview person must hand you all your documents back and it should have your medical vaccination paper to work as well. So make sure to ask once you get approved.

P.S: Still didn’t get the package from US Embassy. But I got the welcome letter from NVC and I can’t login to ceac to pay the fees or submit any docs because I never got an Invoice ID from NVC and to login to ceac it asks for an Invoice ID. Please shed some light on here. :) Thank you!

I kept writting Nigeria embassy until they sent my fiancee his welcome letter. Typically they won’t send you an official welcome letter. It will be an email letting you and your fiancee know that you can go and pay the visa fee. If I were you I would start emailing them.
Have you done your interview? If yes how was it? Please one more question is the welcome letter coming from nvc or Nigeria Embassy?
@@odahodije7294my Fiancee did his interview, it was very easy for him, they only asked him about me, and what I do for my job, and they had the pictures of us and our daughter so they did not ask him much question. His interview was less than 5minutes.
The welcome email with come from Nigeria’s embassy. NVC no longer has anything to do with your case ounce it’s transferred

@@odahodije7294go and pay for your visa fee and the bank they tell you to. And after that you will get a confirmation number. You will go to the atlas ustraveldoc portal and sign up, and submit a new application. Once you submit application you will put your visa type and will also do a DS160 page. Make sure all the information match. Passport is at least valid for the next year and above.
