Hey there, thanks. You can get suspenders just about anywhere. Since they're elastic, you may wanna get some new ones instead of trying to find a dead stock or vintage set.
I used to use large cuffs with engineer boots but now I use low cuffs or none. My pant length is 32, but I would buy them 34, 36 or 38 length just to cuff them. Either way, cuffs or no cuffs is definitely a vintage style.
Modern Vintage Lifestyles dude 😤 I knew something along those lines happened such a garbage platform man, you vids had nothing, not even a bit, that would be considered inappropriate or violated any rules. Anyways man I hope to hear more from you
I've never used starch on selvedge jeans. I think if you put starch on regular 501 jeans, it will make them stiffer, right? I never iron my jeans either.
Aw Matt! Whats up brother? Unfortunately i wont be at this one. My wife and i have a little one (gonna be a yr old at the end of this month) and so we'll be staying home this time. Yep, you heard right, i tied the knot in July 2017 😁. Maybe, maybe i can make it this year for at least a couple nights. Still not sure. Good to hear from you man!
When you wore these raw, did you get much indigo staining / crocking on your other clothes?
@@sam1207 not at all
when you got your demin, did they came raw ?
Yes
you should make a follow up with your vintage denim collection and talk about their fades
your buckle backs are super sick!! btw, where could you find suspenders for the buckleback? I’m thinking about buying a pair of a 1890 501s?

@@modernvintagelifestyles should i go up 2 sizes on bucklebacks? or stay true to size on them ?
@@alantristam9654 i'd stay true to size and then not wash them. But if you plan on washing them, def go 2 sizes up.
Ive got a new pair of 501s and in a few months they will look very cool! Nice video!
As I can see here, a good pair of jeans is like a work of art!
Do you usually cuff your jeans?

Man what happened to your old channel dude I got really pissed when I didn’t find you in my subscribed channels 😤
Hey! Thanks for finding me again! Yeah, youtube was pretty harsh and was deleting channels once they set new guidelines

What if you get dirt on it from working or stain it should i wash it?
I don't, but because I want the original vintage look.
Can I iron them with starch?
