I just got my 16L delivered today and I just want to say I’m so happy with my purchase.
Not only is it a fantastic dehumidifier but I love supporting an Australian business.
If I owned this business I’d be very proud.
I have dampness and mould problems plus my house in unbearably hot, unfortunately with the housing crisis this is all I can afford to rent 😢. I know the Ausclimate dehumidifier is going to make life a bit better.
I REALLY wanted the Ausclimate air-conditioner but I’d be saving for another year and a bit to afford that. Before buying this dehumidifier I did a lot of research, saved and saved for 8 months and finally got the funds to purchase and I’m really pleased with this unit.
Thank you. I am thinking about saving for the air conditioner now - what a dream that would be in this heat.

Great video! found this after I had unboxed and setup my dehumidifier 😏 Did loads of online research before I bought this one, ordered it last year but due to heavy demand was out of stock in NSW... finally got mine this year and am really happy with it! Used it in bedrooms, hallway, bathroom, lounge...I'm amazed at how much water it has collected! The humming noise is not a problem, sounds like a heater, just run it when the rooms are empty... thanks for a great product @ausclimate !

These are very good machines. Wish I bought one years ago.

Would have been good if you demonstrated connecting up the tube properly.
If you were to use the continuous drain feature and knock out that cover, can you still go back and use the inbuilt water container?

Hi Woohu. Great question. You can certainly still go back and use the inbuilt water container/tank to collect the water once the external continuous drainage hose cover has been knocked off. Just be sure to remove the actual hose when you would like to use the tank to collect the water rather than the continuous drainage hose.
In response to the first point, we didn't do a full continuous drainage hose installation tutorial on this one due to time constraints for the video. We find the manual has quite good, simple instructions for removing this 'knock out' part with a screwdriver.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions about it. Cheers, Russell

@@Ausclimate Nice video. Is there a model that can pump the water out instead of depending on downhill drainage and how does that exactly work .. i.e. continuously or as a separate function from the water container? Thank you.

Hi @@melodychest9020 great question! Yes, our Ausclimate-NWT Supreme 50L Dehumidifier includes a seperate "auto pump-out" drainage function (5M length of hose included). This is in addition to being able to use it via the removable water tank or with the aforementioned "downhill" continuous drainage function (1M hose included).
The following drainage hose video also gives some great insight on this: th-cam.com/video/hW5CPwVUzsM/w-d-xo.html
      Cheers, Russell

@@Ausclimate Thank you Russell, much appreciated. Could u please clarify if the auto pump out has a button setting to do exactly that? If so, we can connect the long pipe to a drain and forget about it once set? Cheers.

    • @Ausclimate
      @Ausclimate  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi @@melodychest9020, yes certainly! So the auto-pump out drainage function is not a 'button setting' as such, but once you plug in your supplied hose to the auto pump out drainage port it will drain via that hose as opposed to the other options (i.e. gravity-fed continuous drainage port or the water tank). So yes, once you have the hose all connected & the other end fed to the drain it is basically 'set & forget' until you have dried the area to your satisfaction. Please don't hesitate to give us a call if you need any extra help. The manual also has a handy little diagram to assist in connecting the hose to the port. Cheers, Russell

Hi Russell! Thanks for the video. Im considering purchasing the Cool-Seasons Premium 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier model as I live in Melbourne Vic and from the research ive done and from the information you have given it seems like it would be the best choice for a Melbourne climate. One question I have regarding this model being a Desiccant dehumidifier. I have read that they can increase the surrounding temperature up to 3-5°C when they are in operation... is this something I would find with this model ? Thanks again

QUESTION: For example, in a 26C 20 sq m room with 70-80% RH, how many degrees C temperature increase will a 12L compressor dehumidifier cause in order to reduce RH to 60%? I'm looking for a dehumidifier that does NOT heat up the room at all. Thanks.

Hi I have this product and today I emptied the water as usual but once I put the part back into the humidifier it won't power on no more.
I have tried changing power sockets and can't find any help online.
    Can this be fixed ?
