Probably the best video ever from Rail Projects Victoria. You explained thousands of hours of work in three minutes forty seconds with complete accuracy. Great job!

Fantastic work on the tunnel, interesting to see how many factors contribute to the construction of the tunnel .

good to see melbourne testing trains in tunnel. As for Brisbane, Cross River Rail is now delayed until 2027.

A brand new tunnel built for a specific service and thus specific trains. Can we hope for level boarding?

I have a question regarding when the tunnel opens and trains are running revenue services. Does anyone know if Up Pakenham/Cranbourne trains will be stopping all stations between Caulfield and South Yarra or continue to run express like they are now? Because since trains won't be using South Yarra anymore on that line, I feel like having a connection at a station like Hawksburn would help minimise changeover times at stations like South Yarra and Richmond if passengers had to get on an Up Frankston service to get to one of those stations and change there too (for example to the Sandringham line). Any info about that yet or is that still to be decided?

Looks like it is far enough advanced not to go the same way as the Commonwealth Games.

Fantastic, however, I would rather be certain that I can catch an ambulance in Victoria, than a train. Our collapsing healthcare system (5000 health personnel to be sacked this year alone!) is paying for this tunnel. Don't get me wrong, I love this project and it has bipartisan political support, however, there are more pressing priorities than hugely expensive tunnel and road projects.
