Another tip when you have the oil in the measuring Cup and you poured it the big gallon gas can and it didn’t take all the oil take the big gallon gas can pour some gas in the measuring cup swish it around and Pour it back in the can
just picked up my YZ250x dealer said it has motul 40:1 in it at the moment for first start/ break in, is this okay? also what should I run it at after the break in ?
To eliminate the hassle of removing gas from the carborator get StarTron or any other good fuel stabilizer that you can trust. It's worth keeping it on hand since most 2 stroke dirtbike oil does not have fuel stabilizers in it.
Any idea how i should mix it on my yz125 with a 144cc cylinder kit? The bike has just been sitting for a while so i completely forgot. But i know i should mix a little more oil for the big bore cylinder but i dont know how much
Assuming the jetting is fine I would still run the same ratio mix as OEM. If you aren’t sure though I would contact the company of the big bore kit you have.
Buy your 2 stroke oil by the pint like Honda's HP2, 4 gallons of gas and just dump the bottle in - 32:1. I don't need an app to know that. Otherwise, just use a Ratio Rite.
hello friend I am mixing 16 oz for 5 gallons 110 VP I have been doing it for 10 years and it does not work very well lately the 110 gas is not mixing with the mix I stir it and the minute the oil goes down saves I make of this I think not they are mixing vien ka mixture of gas 110
I just got a new engine DR Evolution 50cc air cooled for my scooter and replaced everything in the transmission. The connecting rod bearing somehow fell apart and made it into the chamber destroying the engine. This is a Peugeot Speedfight II and it was the original engine with about 15.000kilometers, I've been told it was just too old and that's why that happened not because it didn't get enough or any oil cause apparently the autolube works or at least its consuming oil from the oil tank and there is no oil leakage sign anywhere so it must go into the engine I guess. I've been told that through the break in period which is 500km which I've been through already, add an extra 10-20ml oil to the fuel tank. I actually added 40ml and recently after 400km 60ml because I was trying out the limits of the new engine. My question is, would it harm the scooter if I keep adding extra oil to the fuel? What would be the limitations for that? I know the 50:1 ratio, I have a 7l fuel tank so if I were to premix oil with fuel I should add 120ml which I guess would be too much oil of course and the mixture would be too lean making the engine hotter and thus causing an engine seize no matter the extra oil. But like would 60-80ml extra oil do any damage or would it even do any good in the first place or its not even necessary at all to add even a small amount of extra oil to the fuel if the oil pump works in theory? I'd be glad if someone could help cause I'm more of a car guy, I just got this scooter to have some fun with it at places where my car can't go, I know how the 2t engine works and the premix would be also simple solution I know. I'm not really familiar with the autolube system but I guess the engineers designing these scooters and whoever came up with this autolube system must know what they are doing and how this system is supposed to work. So I wouldn't wanna just go with the "disconnect the autolube and mix it on your own" what most people say on forums.
I’m buying a dirtbike tomorrow that doesn’t run. Have no idea what it is, but i think it’s a Yamaha, cause I remember it being blue when I cruised by. (neighbor owns it, says he doesn’t remember what it is either). Im really hoping it’s a yz125 two stroke.
sorry it’s late but depends on ur riding, if you are 80 percent or more wide open then run 32:1 if you are most of the time equal or under 3/4 throttle then that 40:1 would be ok. me personally i would run 32:1 no matter what but its your choice. i would run 40:1 in a 250 2 stroke
I haven’t tried Castor 927 myself. I’m sure it works fine, Formula K2 is made for higher rpm usage which is perfect for my 125 which is always getting rev’d up really high 🤘🏼

I'd hate to be that person but just premix it and save yourself the Hassle 😂
can u use 83 in ur bike instead of 93
You mention not to , but why can’t I dump the proper amount of raw oil in the gas tank ?
On a rm 80 should I use 93 and what ratio should I use
Owners manual would tell you
❤
Hi everyone i just got 105 xc
501 oil how many halons gas i need please help thank u again
Just came from the oil filter now I’m to the pre mix lol what next
😍❤️

32:1 or 50:1?
What ratio should i use on a 2005 ktm 125sx
Owners manual will tell you, but you will probably be around 32:1
After a rebuild on a 2003 cr85 should I run 20:1?
I generally just run whatever oil mix I run normally for break-ins but extra oil for a short period won’t hurt anything
I have a 98 rm250 running 93 with klotz and I’m at 32:1 but I’m running very rich what do I do
Jet your carb, go down a size main and see what happens. Spark plug reading is the most accurate way to tell where you are at jetting wise.
I need some help for my kx65, 1 gallon, 1/4 of oil?
I had a kx65 I ran castor 927 at 32:1 93 octane and had no problems beautiful bike tho I miss mine 😭
Would 40:1 be ok on a fully rebuilt yz125
sorry it’s late but depends on ur riding, if you are 80 percent or more wide open then run 32:1 if you are most of the time equal or under 3/4 throttle then that 40:1 would be ok. me personally i would run 32:1 no matter what but its your choice. i would run 40:1 in a 250 2 stroke
Quick question but why do you use 32:1 when it’s supposed to be 30:1?
Almost no difference
What ratio I use on a kx 85
Owners manual will say, generally in range of 32:1-40:1
How much water do you add to the gas/oil? I think I might no be adding enough for my bike.
lol
This is dangerous assumptions. Never add regular water to the fuel , you need distilled water only .
@@sekacity3425 Thank you! That explains why it hasn't been running.
Does a 1998 Yamaha YZ125 use any 2 cycle premix or does it have to be a certain one?
Any 2 stroke dirt bike uses any premix oil . Put whatever you want in there as long as it says it's mix oil, not gear oil.
Which is better Castor 927 or k2
I haven’t tried Castor 927 myself. I’m sure it works fine, Formula K2 is made for higher rpm usage which is perfect for my 125 which is always getting rev’d up really high 🤘🏼

What gas can is that? Can I buy it online?
That is a LC2 gas can. I have switched to VP racing jugs since, I think they are better quality but both are great! 👍🏼
Dude what's the website
Bruh you made it more complex
I’m guessing I have to order oil online cause I don’t have a local store that sells premix 2 stroke oil
My local speedway sells premix 😂

@@sekacity3425 Sure you should be cooking meth alone? Seems pretty risky. Btw you don't put a space before the question mark. If you're gonna talk shit atleast have common knowledge.
How often should you do this?
A 2 stroke engine always needs premix in the fuel, it’s not optional.
I think you meant compression fuel and spark 😭
Air fuel and spark are the more common fundamental 3. Compression and timing come after when it comes to diagnostic.
@@akmoto_ if you have no compression there is no point to work on air you dont need a proper air filter to run a motor that comes after you have it running
