I bought the game back in 2019. I never thought that it's my favorite FPS but at the same time it's my most played FPS game. The gunplay is 10/10, the sound design is 10/10, PTSD simulator, lots of guns and equipment to choose from. If this game had a bit better map design and more maps in general it would have been huge imo. I still love it, it needs more people! And I hope the people who made this game make a new one, keeping everything good about and iron out all the cons it has. Edit: Imagine if Squad had Insurgencys gunplay..
Started playing earlier this year and I’m i love, in the most lovingly way possible I call it “COD’s autistic brother” it’s so in depth and complex, it has the fun elements of the older CODs but has so much more going for it too
Cod is literally our abusive old step parent that keeps begging for money by gaslighting us with anything it can to stay relevant, because it's dying :)
I’d love to start playing and learning the gameplay dynamics on PS5. I’ve tried it a few times.I just feel players who know what they are doing on the same team can be quite brutal to noobs like myself. Family and work life take over and don’t have much balance for downtime.
Most people know you’re new if you’re tanking so its never a problem, but you should probably stick to Free-For-All so you can learn the mechanics as well; if you’re playing PVP.
To be fair played it on PC few yrs ago was getting smashed a lot and fell out with it, picked it up again recently and only played around 30hrs in Sandstorm on Xbox and I'm really enjoying it now I think I'm getting used to slowing down and being more tactical.Played COD but didn't like it that much thought Sandstorm was like COD think that's why I was getting smashed a lot.BTW great video
I waited years for this to come to consoles. I am a big fan of the first game, which I feel is slightly better. But this is still brutal as hell. Their best game was Day of Infamy, which has some if the mist effective bots I've seen in a long time. It saddens me that its dead. That game was tremendous.
I'm 5y late and I'm gonna play for the next 10y... Quality pays a company's soul, not micro transactions. Just look at the GR & AC communities. Both Ace Combat & Armored Core I love em both, revolutionary and underrated.
Not saying the hardcore mode is “tactical” or “realistic” in any real sense, but I find it’s a lot more fun to play compared to regular modes because you start seeing the same people and making bonds with them, the slower pace makes you think more, and gives a little more emphasis to the loud, fast paced, and scarily quick firefights you often get into. Insugency is enough of an arcade game where you don’t have to spend 8 hours a day just to have a chance at fighting, but it’s realistic enough to capture a sense of panic when you get shot at, and accomplishment when you get 3 or 4 kills in quick succession, or even killing a sniper/machine gunner that’s been pinning down your team for 10 minutes. This is emphasized in hardcore’s generally slow paced gameplay contrasting with how quickly people can die.
As fun as bf3 was back in the day I've tried playing it recently and it just gets boring and mind numbing after a while, I've played Sandstorm for almost 1,000 hours since early access, not as much as others have played but it is definitely the most hours I can remember puting into a game, I have built 2 diff PC's already just to play this game at higher resolutions lol
just downloaded this game again, whopping 24 gb i think. i still love this game. i mostly cant go head to head. i love gunner. sit down with bipod and wait.
When i first plaayed insurgency sandstorm i spawned in ran into a couple of building then heard a russian guy in proximity chat scream allahu akbar then the whole room explode

Sadly some of the original team already left NWI. But i wish they will come back for another try.

I actually got tired of them as well, and that's when I found insurgency. It is still alive and very well.
Good play. Insurgency is brutal as hell I've always thought that the this title would be way bigger but I think that people are scared of it.

I was afraid too, but the most people in game were cool and all, very hard sometimes but fun, try it

I wish they made like an Iraq Afghanistan war game in the style of hell let loose. This is as closest as we got.

fast tactical fps , gunplay and sound is amazing, good graphic . its not a cod its not a squad. hard to believe game is 8 years old
