Now i look at a Ferrari and say... nah.... mine ( Audi A3 ) it is more than i wanted...prefer mine to Ferrari! ;) The car is...well i dont have words...The colour is Cyan Dark.
@@BuckleUpShow absolutely loving it! I’ve had it since February and still get a kick out of taking it on a decent drive out. Like you said in the video, it’s not massively sporty, but it’s really comfortable and enjoyable
While on vacation, our rental car was 2024 Audi A3. I liked the exterior of car. It may be hard for someone taller to sit at drivers seat. Trunk is kind of small. There are NO USB A ports. Only two USB c ports. I wasn't able to play music via my USB key. I HATED the volume touch knob. It was a pain in the to use it. Acceleration off the line wasn't great. The car was skidding when accelerating from stop.
The seat adjustability in this is pretty good for the class, and it has height adjustment too which is handy. No USB-A ports is more common now as technology advances. The skittish power application at set off may well be because it was a rental car and they are typically not looked after and usually fitted with rubbish tyres too! Some of the issues you experienced may not be representative of how well the car can drive.
This video was filmed prior to those engine updates being fully rolled through. We would still stand by the statement that the 150PS engine in this is a better pick than one with 116PS, though.
I cannot see anywhere showing Google Maps satellite view on the primary cockpit display here or anywhere else when I have searched. Can you please provide an example? Thanks.
That is the satellite map of the UK zoomed out so you cannot see the filming location. Using the vehicle's built-in navigation in the Digital Cockpit will show the same map. If you want to see it in person we would recommend going to a dealership for a test drive.
Hello guys! I need some feedback from you car experts. I live in Sweden and in June I was looking for a private leasing car (which I wanted to receive in December) and I had two main options: The new BMW 1-series or the Audi A3 as they were similar in monthly leasing fee (about $380). However, at the time I ordered my car, the new BMW 1-series was not available for order due to it just being released. So I went with the Audi A3! I am starting to regret my decision when I chose the Audi A3, because the standard configuration of the BMW 1-series is, in my opinion, much better. The BMW 1-series has 170 hp compared to Audi's 150 hp and it comes with 17 inch wheels compared to Audi A3's 16 inch. Can anyone give me some enlightning facts which makes me not to regret my decision? Is the Audi A3 a better car than BMW 1-series?
Well first things first, smaller wheels are better. Also you're buying a car sharing a platform with a VW golf, a car known for being rather nice in its own right and you have extra luxury. The 1 series is an inflated mini, which are known for being bought by fashionistas and having extortionate repair costs for their size.
@@BuckleUpShow I am sorry but 1 series is a great car not just a mini for fashionistas. You pay much less than a3 and with m pack you get stuff like adjustable suspension, m sport steering and design similar to M edition, adjustable full led lights, alcantara sport seats and 18 inch wheels along with premium pack. It is very fun to drive, with more sportiness, great steering and in general is more luxurious than A3 which is also great but much more expensive with less quality and standard equipment and is very similar on the road with the mainstream and indifferent to drive VW Golf.
I'm picking up my A3 tomorrow, and your video has made me so excited!
Hope you enjoy your new car! What colour did you choose?
@@BuckleUpShow thank you! I've gone for the black edition in district green
Good colour choice

An Audi A3 is much more sensible to drive every day than a Ferrari anyway 😂
@@BuckleUpShow True!
Even so...the Audi is just out of this world...love that car...
Fantastic video as always thanks. I got my A3 about a week before the facelift was announced but I’m over it now! It looks great
How are you finding it so far?

Great detailed review Jasper..... queue the comments of no shorts incoming 😂
Cheers Eddie! 😂😂
Has that got the tech pack pro?
Yes, as it has the adaptive cruise control with predictive functionality.

I think there is mistake Audi A3 base engine is now 1.5 liters with 116hp. 1.0 liters engine is no longer available in A3 like the new Golf.

good review!
Thank you! Do you have an A3?
@@BuckleUpShow Nope. Actually A3 is on my shortlist but it's difficult to choose A3 having Golf as cheaper/better equipped option.
Such a good review!
Thank you! Do you have an A3?
Not yet, I'm considering buying an A3 next year and your review has spurred me on, thanks! I currently have a Golf 7.5 r line.
I absolutely loath that tiny switch Gear Selector……. It’s a Car, not a Toaster!
Why does your toaster have any kind of gear selection at all?
@ low, medium, high? Yours don’t have them ?
My toaster has settings but they're not gear operated

@ Thanks for the answer! Why are the smaller wheels better?
They are much more comfortable, and tyres tend to be cheaper.
