      @davidriedy5977 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I thought he landed on the US player's foot and rolled his ankle or something with how he was screaming. Saw the replay and it barely looked like anything. I pretty much only watch soccer during like the major tournaments, but I see these players go down in (apparent) pain and then I see the replay and I'm struggling to understand how they got hurt. But then again I haven't played soccer in several years, and also most of the time the players get up and keep playing as if nothing happened, which in all likelihood means they were trying to draw some type of foul

Wtf is that guy doing??" Definitely not a part of soccer that I like. On the very last play too before the ref blew the final whistle, I noticed that Zimmerman I think it was barely touched the Iranian player, the Iranian player went down and Zimmerman or whoever the US defender was threw his hands up in the air because he knew it was a bs flop attempt trying to draw a cheap penalty lol

    I feel particularly involved in this as I am a Borussia Dortmund supporter who saw him play (in the best colors he ever wore) live and in the best stadium to do so. I also received some of these while playing soccer/footie half of my life AND I scored the only goal in a decisive cup game once. You can pretty much call me Pulisic jr OR RATHER call Pulisic MY jr !
    What i'm trying to say is that this really hurts but it's worth it.

    Hey Doc, great explanation & video!! Not to mention how quickly you uploaded so soon after the injury!
    Just one observation, women do watch these videos too--
    “know that when **we** develop"
    "through the pelvis as **we** develop”
    “whenever **you** get an inguinal hernia"
    "where everything actually passes when **you** develop”
    “**you** can have accumulation of blood and bleeding”
    “**you** can actually have a rupture”
    Clicked on this video because I have an interest in sports medicine & wanted to learn more about the physiology of this particular injury, but was surprised when language used during the discussion of the male anatomy suggested the assumption of a mostly male audience, while the front half of the video discussing sex-neutral abdominal injuries was in the 3rd-person & remained relatively objective.
    Again great video!! Hope the USMNT doesn't have any more injuries anytime soon, but if they do I look forward to seeing your recaps!

Category IV laceration and he tested negative for Mono🤷‍♂️. His only symptom was feeling like he got the breath knocked out of him. No significant pain. No other immediate symptoms. Held him out of practice because he couldn't catch his breath. Later he said he felt much better and went to class. Went to the entire school day and went home feeling fine. Woke up that night vomiting was taken to the ER. Had surgery that night. Still the kid swears he never had any pain. Only that winded feeling. Strange one for sure.

    During the press interview today, after repeated questions, he stated that he did not get hit in the balls. He received the contusion of the pelvic bone itself.

      @@vix0908 If you break your interphalangeal joint (the middle joint in your finger), you're not going to tell people that you broke your interphalangeal joint, you're going to tell people you broke your finger. I and most other people had no idea what a pelvic contusion is, just like how most people don't know what an interphalangeal joint is.
