You know I’ve had a few vehicles that were pretty much perfect, but weird I thought as both of the vehicle as appliances, for some reason in my minds short comings give the vehicle a personality. I really do like the more basic vehicles, on my 23 F150 I’ve went into the screen and turned of auto dimming lights and lane assist, both were awful and did nothing to improve the driving experience. I really do like your Maverick and I like your honest about any shortcomings.

I have the exact truck. delivered 2 weeks ago. I paid for the black fender flares. The truck looks 100 times better with them. I hated the keypad on the door. Ugly. Open the door with your iPhone. Will keep in the garage until winter is over. Love my 2000 Mustang Cobra R and my 2006 Shelby Mustang GT-H. Ford Rocks. I am in Canada.

My big complaints as a potential buyer are the silly small screen, that saves Ford $12.00??? Not having adaptive cruise control in all models. lastly, if you are getting the Lariat Trim, the seats should be cooled and ventilated, in a $40,000 top trim model. Question - Are the side mirrors auto-dimming and is there a blind spot warning indicator in the mirrors or the A-Pillar?

Well, the screen may be small, but they conveniently put a button on the dash to turn it off. If you need to play video games while driving there is a port to plug your laptop into.

I LOVE my Maverick (22 AWD FX4 4Ktow) and I am a 30yr commercial driver. I've owned trucks, from 80s Rangers to Silverado and Nisaan Titan.
In my opinion this is no truck. But that is why I LOVE it. It's a turbocharged Jetta or equivalent with truck utility. It's BETTER than a truck.
As this guy said, fast but not too fast, handles very well. An absolute blast to drive.

Not at all. Think of it this way. 1. It’s content for my channel. 2. The honeymoon phase is over and I know what I like and what I don’t about the car. 3. If people are looking to buy one, then they may stumble across my video and possibly consider my objections and likes.
All in, I think it’s a win. They’ll be another at 10k miles and 25 etc.
