  • It's not my usual fare, but this is a fascinating box set of 7" singles of Elvis's early Sun recordings from 1954-55.

Not my ususal fare and pricy for a few singles! But interesting. Thanks for watching, Steve. Cheers

Hi Andy, just got back from my jolly holidays so playing catch up with your channel. I recognise some of the titles as my elder brother had them on 78 RPM. Great little box set, it’s unusual to say the least…👍

I was born in 1953 so I was too young when Elvis was bursting on to the music scene and becoming the biggest thing in pop music. I did not have any interest in music until I was 10 years old and in 1963 I heard The Beatles Please Please Me. That is when my interest in music took off. I must admit his TV comeback show he did was impressive but when he became the showman in Las Vegas I lost any interest I had in him. I think he was far more talented than I gave him credit for but he just was not my cup of tea.

I've never been interested either, but I was intrigued by this. I've listened to the first couple of singles and really enjoyed them. Just joyful, youthful rock'n'roll. So different from the stuff I've heard before. Thanks for watching. Cheers
