A few people have been asking about that photo of Elvis. I have a series of photos of Elvis taken at that time, and it is definitely a hat that Elvis is wearing. They were taken at his home at Audubon Drive and Barbara Hearn and Minnie Mae were there with Elvis.
Cats are very cute. The females are usually very well trained by their mothers. As she gets older you will recognise the type of meows. Love the elvis boxset, never knew of its release.

You are correct- it is a hat at the Audubon property. June Juanico included this photo and one more with her on his lap in her book
