I feel like of all monsters, Khezu has evolved some of the best defenses to protect itself from hunters. You see, most monsters focus on being strong enough to take down hunters, but Khezu evolved to be so annoying that nobody wants to go through the effort of killing it. Even it's lack of music is an evolutionary trait to make no one want to hunt it! It's only mistake is being the only natural source of pale extract...
use the argosy. now you never have to hunt him again.

@@groudongamer3178 Oh I should've clarified, I don't have to hunt Khezu anymore. I'm just referring to how in early game if you don't have enough Kamura points you might have to hunt him. I have over 400 pale extract right now, and over 200 mega demon drug and 200 mega armor skin and none of that was from hunting Khezu. Also technically if we are speaking in a world lore sense, Khezu still has to die for pale extract...

IG is just the best weapon you never need to touch the ground you have elements builds and auto MR earplugs and what’s tremors when you’re 20 feet in the sky

@@lenardstarks5891 Interesting thing about the earplugs part is, they were just regular Earplugs till Rise buffed that. Also, the pogo part was adorable.
The IG guy being completely unbothered by khezu is so true. Especially since khezu is one of the few monsters where their hitboxes dont have infinite height.
Also, i need the loop of Fiorayne jumping. Thats so adorable and cute. I love it

... Okay, someone's gotta' make a PC mod that adds a slide whistle to Khezu's neck stretches. It's simply too good a prospect to ignore.

I love the fact that so many aspects can be turned into a mesmerazing looping gif, I would love one of the khezu booping it's head by stretching it up and down.
I remember way back in freedom unite I absolutely hated this guy just for his appearance but now acutaly kinda love him as a classic OG monster and hope he continues to come back along with gigginox as well
Also imagine how great it would be if we could give them there one shot attack from frontier where they literally eat you if you don't Mash out the grab on time

design wise he is amazing, but gameplay wise they did a handful of things wrong, if they could make his fight good i'd fucking love a return

@@stormerjc9493 gigginox has always been a khezu replacement, not a counterpart like the raths,
baleful, instead of being a different tone like most subspecies (like qurupeco's subspecies) was turned into diet khezu (same moves), which confirmed my suspicions of capcom adding a khezu-like every game
if giggi ever comes back, i'll take back my words for all that matters, but i'm not hopeful it'll return

Khezu is my favorite monster, and if I see it on the map when hunting something else, I'll tell my group "brb,y best friend is here" and they'll say okay, keep fighting and then be shocked when I come back with a Khezu.
I learned from GU that Khezu is the worst monster in existence to have to fight.
And for some reason, whenever I play Rise, my nephews only ever ask me to fight Khezu.

So I was fighting afflicted Khezu and it literally screamed 5 times in one minute. I will never fight a Khezu without ear plugs again. That's like the biggest DPS buff you can get against this damn thing.
Or just get lucky enough to have a counter or guard mechanic :)

This is the best Khezu animation i have ever seen, wonderful job! Khezu just fukin doesn't care if people call him a di+khead because someone has to be him. Now if only we had it's counter part in SunBreak so he can smash in peace!

As someone who is playing Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and not Rise (because I'm a total sucker for turn-based combat and MH's normal gameplay is too hard weh ;-;), I can confirm that all Khezus are the same.
I started with the first Stories for the same reason, before deciding to play the main series. It takes a lot of work and patience.
