    - ABOUT THIS VIDEO -
You've been told by your dentist to brush for two minutes twice a day and floss on a regular basis to maintain your teeth in good shape, but let's face it-on some (lazy) evenings, that's just easier said than done. That's where an electric toothbrush can come in handy. These clever devices oscillate on their own, so no physical work is required, making the daily commitment to an oral care regimen much easier. Not only that, but electric toothbrushes provide a deeper clean for a brighter smile and look far better on your bathroom counter than a traditional toothbrush.
Electric toothbrushes are available at a number of pricing points, ranging from the less expensive (but still completely effective) drugstore ones to the more expensive, higher-tech options that connect to your phone and assess your brushing skills. (Yes, they are similar to having a dentist on call.)

Find a Way a Water Flosser that works exactly as an Electric Toothbrush. Very important for Gingivitis. An Electric Toothbrush can't clean the gums thoroughly like a Water Flosser! You can actually feel the difference once done. 😂

Oral-B Is known to stop working, I found out firsthand after using oral-B’s 5000 toothbrush for a week till the battery died and then it wouldn’t start. Of course I thought that this Toothbrush will last a good amount, so I lost the receipt and threw away all the packaging, and said no to the warranty. I lost $130 bucks plus tax. When I was looking for a solution I found that people on forms and videos were complaining about the construction of the toothbrush that it had a horrible battery that will stop working and horrible wiring that will break off from the Sauter. This toothbrushes made poorly do not buy it or if you don’t want to listen to me buy it and keep your receipt, apply for the warranty and keep your box.

@@borninacave all I’m saying is that other people have the same problem and mine saw it sooner. And the reason is because they’re poorly made. There is an entire TH-cam series dedicated to fixing and repairing and changing out batteries or soldering cables back together, on many forms people are complaining and asking how to fix it. So maybe I did get a lemon but the thing is that with that price range Their toothbrushes shouldn’t have a KNOWN widespread problem.

Philip’s products have design defects. Although they try to make their tooth brush fancier than all the others, their tooth brushes break easily. Usually they wouldn’t last for a year. I think it might just be their strategy to force you to get a new one. In my case, I will go for other brands without falling into their traps

I'm on my 3rd Sonicare and never had an issue with the product breaking or being defective.
2x E-Series brushes. The 1st one lasted several years before the internal battery finally died and wouldn't charge anymore. I wouldn't consider that a defect. As batteries burn out over time. It was well past the 5 year mark.
I just recently upgraded to a 9k series model over my 2nd e series brush, and it's only because Sonicare seems to have discontinued making the e series replacement heads. I can only find generic brand replacement heads, and those clearly are junk, only held together with nail. There is nothing wrong otherwise with my 2nd Eseries brush other than manufacturers' support with replacement parts.

I owned 3 4100 model phillips electric tooth brushes. I liked the narrow handle: rubber button and how well they held their church. ON the drawback side: they get loose at the head where it joins the handle. That happened at about the year old mark. Then they expect you to get a new one. On the drawback side: it needs a fresh charge each time if you want shiny slick teeth. After owning 3 units I decided to switch to oral b: which is accepted by the American dental association originally with their manual oral b 30 and 40 manual brushes. I MISS THEM DEARLY AS THE SMALLER Heads fit my small mouth. So today was my first day of the round head oral b 1000 electric tooth brush. I didn't notice that it cleaned any better than the phillips 4100. However it was not fully charged: I used the factory charge: so it may well be that it cleans better I'll just have to charge the darn thing. Then I finished with the water pit nano Waterpark. I liked the waterpik: it lasted all last nights dinner parties out of my mouth. The number 3 setting is plenty powerful and made my GUMS bleed. But I haven't brushed in several days so I'll jhave to use salt water to get my GUMS back in shape. My mouth felt very clean after the waterpik this morning. I chewed on 2 cloves to comfort my GUMS and kill bacteria. I used 2 capsules of 3% hydrogen peroxide in the water box. It worked great but as I said made my GUMS bleed. I will have to force myself to use both the electric toothbrush and the waterpik. It won't be easy but it's easier than dental tape because of my small mouth. I'm also considering the hand held pocket size waterpik by another brand name. Powdered cloves added to my regular tooth paste have worked great in the past so I'll be doing that also to save my teeth. Small mouth and laziness plus the fact that I once smoked heavily turned my mouth into a trench. Also bad bacteria in the oral cavity migrate down into the colon and cause cancer. Latest Jap. Study indicates. So to avoid colon cancer I need to take care of my oral hygiene!😅

I recently purchase a sonicare prestige and with promotion, I got an extra 12 months warranty, ie in total 36 months.
That might somehow fight the design fault of sonicare of battery easily die.
My other 3 sonicare toothbrushs battery died already, I believe, since they are relatively old, 3-7 years old.
Before the purchase I was using an Oral B 3000 pro, and it is still working, except the charger.
