That is what i am saying..My son is special needs and he is only 7 and does not understand do not touch your face. I am about to unenroll him and get into homeschool until this virus is eradicated....And no one at the school or anyone i talk to seems the least bit concerned at all.

How's is people going to protect them self or isolate their self when there's millions living in poberty and big families with kids living in 1 bedroom apartment with no option to isolate from the rest,the ones that can't work from home how are they going to support their families if they can't work are the rents going to be waive for the time been those are things they need to report too not everyone can affort this the government should defenetly take action and have everyone stay home for at least a month and help by waiving those feeds of the need

Honestly, if I am ever confronted with a homeless individual and they need shelter to avoid illness I would personally bring people to my home.

No, the U. S. has not done enough testing so the numbers are hugely skewed.
If you think about it only people that get VERY sick from the virus go to the hospital and get tested. So only of those people is it at 10%. Not everyone with the virus is going to the hospital and getting tested, which is actually kinda scary in itself because the amount of people that are actually infected is MUCH higher than the number of confirmed cases right now.

Of course not. But we still have friends and family thinking this is just the flu. And acting like this is not big deal. If this was the flu why did China quarantine its entire country. It’s just crazy. I’m only 23 years old and my parents are 49 and my grandparents are 77 and in 3 life times we have never seen something like this but my great grandma lived though the 1918 H1N1 pandemic. This virus is spreading unbelievably fast.

Singapore had a great response the leadership from the WHO was not able to keep up with the speed of the virus spreading. Which seems to be as fast as measles but in a 100% none immune population.
The R0 number is the problem im the population is aware that they should keep the R0 number for a long period of time way under 1 you get decreasing active cases.
And you're able to get rid of it but that's a very hard problem if you don't do tests and if you don't test every possible case.
Because even 1 missed case can act as a super spreader without knowing it.
In the end it is math right now the numbers outside China without proper response are 3.5 days to double the numbers.
Think back to your math lessen of exponential growth.
People have a problem with linear increasing problems they do have no gut feeling for exponential growth.
