They need police officers RIDING ON EVERY BUS, EVERY TRAIN. PERIOD.
if cities wanted to they could identify problematic people in real time, and disallow them - but they don't. They expect the public to be assaulted, stabbed and shot. And for that reason no one is going to take the bus if they value their own life
😂
LA District Attorney George Gascon is the problem for that county in California.
Just don't talk about it. Take ACTION. This out of Control. We are Sick of it.
This wont stop until some brave soul defends themselves by alternate means.
The city is not ready for the games😅
Good luck😂😂
STOP releasing them back to the streets on bail!
It's not that hard ..change the laws and build more mental institutions
Stop showing sympathy to people who made zero effort to get help. I'm not paying the bill for your weakness for others.
LA needs new mayor, new DAs and new judges. Make it happen this fall.
How does nypd have transit police and LA don't, zero logic
A former head of security did plan for MTA police force but she was fired because the CEO felt “insulted” from her plan. Very unfortunate.
They are called MTApd they don't patrol inside the trains with it's going station to station they patrol the big station hubs
@@TheFamousRleon SOOOOO many smart ppl getn rich from wrongful termination suits, I made half a million once
We need "Metro Manners "
🤔Evertyhjng this former FBI agents is saying sounds like a regurgitation and parroting of what the former LA County Sheriff Villanueva said. He brought the point about the Metro Administration not wanting his department to enforce laws and offer for them to give the sheriff law enforcement control over the whole system. The MTA refused all his recommendations and we can see how it’s working out for them.
Key word, “FEEL” safe
There is a different between feeling and actually being safe. Riders need real safety no just looking safe
City is more concerned to be security for abandoned buildings
Instead of public safety!!!!!!!
Los Angeles need to Seattle Washington and beyond 😂😂😂 😆 🤣 😂
U PPL NEED TO CONTACT FIRMS TO CLASS ACTION THE CITY N METRO FOR NEGLIGENCE, lapd lasd n LBPD is 100% responsible for not having stationed patrolmen on train n BUSES, 100% win bc they are liable
Violent crime is just not on metro
The nature of security is very contradicting, and I can understand why some riders would be confused about that. Security has two objectives safety and lawsuit prevention. It's like our presents stops allot of crime but presents isn't always enough, sometimes use of force is absolutely necessary. But private companies are in business to "profit" if they're hiring a guy who's conducting overuse of force then the victim just received a big pay day and security companies don't like that. But I agree use of force should be used when necessary and guards shouldn't be treated like criminals by the companies for doing their jobs!
Trying ? city is carless for public safety all talk no action!!!!
Karen is failing LA and crime victims.
She is right: It all starts with fare evasion. No one should access the Metro system with PAYING A FARE. This is basic "broken windows policing" 101.
Stop letting homeless use the metro as a shelter
Police can't hold your hand every second, Citizens must be allowed to defend themselves, especially to exercise their Second Amendment Rights! ONLY CITIZENS CAN PROTECT THEMSELVES!! 💪
What a joke
LAPD Told me to carry a gun bc it's dangerous out there. TY LAPD FOR BEING REAL!!
karen bass doing the opposite of everything she promise.
Ban knives lol
No homeless should be allow on the buses!!
Your comment so is stupid, you want the metro to discriminate against homeless people base on appearances ? Do you know how many homeless people there are who ride the bus or used the train ? There are homeless security guard, homeless ambassador, homeless police, Homeless Walmart employee, homeless church members, homeless people working in the mayor office, and homeless students, and hidden homeless.
They can't say one set of homeless people can not ride the bus nor the rails because they look homeless. And the other set whose doesn't look homeless can ride the bus and rail. That is discrimination. Like the girl said "It should be a guide lines" , constitution, Metro Manners on how to behave using the public transportation.
Let a Republican run this!
🙁la making global news. No goof
“work to reduce crime.”
Das racist to people of color and what nots!
13/60 disagrees
